I swear, if somebody in Sri Lanka slapped a pair of wings on a tuk tuk, and ran a route to an uninhabited island, Felix would be there to fly on it. Great content as always!
I could envision Changi implementing that, but there's one problem: where would they sh*t on? Well, the Singaporeans would probably think of a solution somehow...
I'm Brazilian, so my native language is Portuguese, which is also the official language of Mozambique. It was funny to be able to understand natively (despite the different accent) all crew speeches in this video, something that's unusual for me on this channel... 😄
✈As always another 10/10 flight rereview, great to be able to fly on two planes in one day with a awesome airline.,who looked after you all pretty well all-in-all.👍
Hello Felix. Very interesting flight experience you had on this journey. After my one experience flying on a twin-propeller aircraft (not a good one), I vowed, going forward, that I would only travel on aircraft that were operating with two Constitution-Class rated Warp Nacelles. That way, there can be less margin for malfunction. Interesting scenery from the window on the flight to Pemba. Keep up the good work!
I went to Canada in 2020 and it was fun we packed our stuff and drive to the airport and wait and get into the plane ✈️and takeoff 🛫 and we where in canada and the capital: Ottawa, Canada it was great the Canadian Flag was waving it was the sunset 🌇 we go down 🛬 and went to the hotel 🏨 tomorrow catch some salmon there and cooked it and the salmon was cooked and it was delicious and we stayed there for 9 weeks and went home 🏡 to Massachusetts.
I’m really curious with an unexpected delay that long in a small airport with an even smaller international area like that, were the passengers eventually allowed to go back to the landside to get food for instance or did they have to stay in the international airside all the time and could only eat and drink that were provided, assuming the airline was nice enough to hand out meal(s). I don’t think there are any restaurants inside (or at least not in the international area).
@@maryburger1232 in normal scenarios that's very much expected but they had to wait for 7 hours or even more. I'd die of boredom and hunger if that really was the case! Especially if they were given only a bag of peanuts and a bottle of water. Besides it's not like they were stranded in a third country, where they need some extra paperwork/permit to enter.
Dash 8 and faulty gear, havent we heard that one before. As LAM have taken a few ex-Sas dash 8's... But the early bird thing, tried it with jetstar last november from BNE via SYD to AYQ. being there at 3:30 am at BNE wasnt exactly funny and yawn i was still tired.
Great flight. I think this is first time in this channel you got stranded because technical faulty. I don't know this flight is considered as 8th freedom flight or not, since this is a Mozambique Airlines serving Domestic route in Mozambique with continuation to Tanzania. And yeah, great replacement, from Q400 to 737, also bit curious, is this flight from Maputo to Dar es Salaam usually served by Q400?
Soon The National Airline of The people’s democratic republic of Algeria 🇩🇿 (Air Algeria) will be reinforcing there whole fleet with state of the art new Aircraft which is very exciting to here so maybe when the airline gets the new airplanes you should give us another try just a suggestion! Grate job from The United States 🇺🇸 ❤️🇩🇿 Good day :)
Repairing a plane in view of the passengers might get them a little nervous when they see the workers get out the large roll of duct tape and the bungee cords.
If i was your son youd se me running all over the place due to how much i love airports Edit: im a Jamaican btw (: Another edit: doesnt it feel great to just watch the propellers slowly speed up as u are departing?

Thank you so much for your kind offer! :) Unfortunately, I visited Trinidad already in late-2022 to make a video about Caribbean Airlines new 737MAX, which will be out on our channel soon!
Thank you for replying to our message. If ever you revisit Trinidad please let my uncle and i know we would gladly meet up for lunch.all the best.shivam and avi
LAM should have slated the 737 for both legs in the first place, and after the delay with the Dash 8, I would have hoped for something a little more substantial than a cheese sandwich for my trouble. I understand delays happen. But, with you being restricted where you can go during the delay, without the opportunity or option to seek a bite to eat besides peanuts and water? Yes, I get it, middle of nowhere Africa, not a lot of infrastructure or population. But after how many hours on the ground and then to fly on your to final destination with nothing more than a cheese sandwich? C'mon! This looks like a typical domestic flight in the U.S.

Why a tuk tuk?? 😂
@@senalliyanage7795, it could be a rickshaw, too, with the driver moving the wings fast with his arms... 🤣
I laughed at this one 😂😂😂😂

Thank you Felix for reviewing the airline from my country. But i am really sorry for the technical problem….
Dar es salaam airport looks interesting.. I wish you could review it as well.
Aww…so sorry! Get well soon, Mozambique’s lil’ Dash 8Q400.
Amazing trip report Felix and it seems as if everyone involved handled the situation as best as possible!
Unfortunately the C9-BAQ has been scrapped already, LAM remains with only one B737
Brutally honest air tanzania I beg. You seriously need to try their economy class to Mumbai.
Great video 📸
From the schedule board, I am getting curious about an airline named "Airlink". Have you done a tripreport of it? If so, I can't wait to watch it soon
South African airline, great company
One of my co-worker use to call them LAM - Lost Around Mozambique
Lesotho has an Airforce!? Good for them.
Yes. Being a mountainous country means an airforce is a vital link.
Great video!!

I have flown this plane and airline from JNB-MPM. I made the mistake of behind the window so I smelled the engine

Wait. Are Maputo and Pemba not all in Mozambique? If so, why do you say you have legally exited Mozambique while in Pemba?
