I used a tapestry needle attached to the tail end to weave the chain through for the tie. Much easier than using the hook, just a tip to anyone trying this pattern out 😊 Also thank you for the pattern! It was super easy to follow. ❤
Usually when I say repeat pattern it’s for different stitches. Example, 2 DC in one stitch and 1 DC in the next stitch. You would repeat the pattern of 2 DC, 1 DC all the way around. I’m not sure what the stitches were at 6 min in. My guess is that it was still an increase round and you would repeat the stitch pattern all the way to the end.
Hi, when I made them for pickle it was -40f outside. I couldn’t find dog booties in his size because everyone was sold out. I had to improvise real fast. He couldn’t even go out to pee because it was so cold that his little piggy paws would instantly start freezing. You could definitely add a piece of leather or something to the bottom if you wanted. The purpose was for sub zero temperatures not rain or anything like that. We took them off as soon as he came back inside and laid them flat to dry. It worked perfect for the situation at the time. Thanks for the comment!
Hi@RosiePosie11020, It depends on how big your 5 month old pug is? My guess is that he/she is still pretty small so here is the link for the small dog hat: th-cam.com/video/Nacgt84pTOQ/w-d-xo.html If this one is to big you could use a 5mm crochet hook instead of a 5.5mm crochet hook and follow the medium size hat tutorial. That would make it smaller. I hope this helps. Thank you so much for the comment.

You are so very welcome, Mary. Thank you for the kind feedback.
At 6:00 you say repeat pattern but what does that mean like so we repeat the single crotchet or the double crotchets?

Won’t these get wet? And you need skip proof on bottom

Ok thanks 😊
Your welcome
Way to fast 😢
Sorry, I was still new to filming. I have tried to slow down some and explain my stitches a little more. Thanks for the comment though.
You can slow down your playback speed in the settings in the wheel icon (settings) at the top right of the video.
