I'm really sorry about all the hateful Christians who very quickly want to jump on her as evil and say she is "of this world" and therefore "she can't do anything for God". I think God has great plans and desires for even people like these and who are we to judge other's motives? In the book of 1st John it says do not love the world or the things of it, because if you do the love of the Father isn't in you. It also says in Matthew that you can't serve God and riches. When we become a Christian, we leave the secular world alone and pick up our cross. Being a Christian isn't easy and you can't just do whatever you want in this lifetime and stamp Christian over it just because you believe in Jesus. In the Bibe Paul went through many close calls to death (i.e. stoning, being whipped, shipwrecked, etc.) all for His faith. In 1 John it says do not marvel if the world hates you. In the Bible it also says you will be persecuted for you faith. If being Christian is super easy everyone would choose the life. I feel like there is some arguing in the comments about what this or that verse means and how to be saved and all this stuff. I just want you to know that ultimately none of that matters if you ask God for salvation and forgiveness for your sins he will give it to you. He is a loving and grace filled God. That doesn't mean there won't be challenges you have to face. But it does mean that God will be with you through all of them. He loves you and he wants to welcome you into his family. Accepting him is the best choice you could ever make.
God wants you to be vulnerable and honest when you pray. He knows what you're going to pray for before you even pray. And he doesn't listen to the big words you use or the very very long prayer, he looks at your heart. God bless all who are reading this!

I’m glad that Selena is trying to draw herself closer to Jesus, but I’m not sure if Lauren Daigle is the person she should be listening to. She has had opportunities to speak out to large amounts of people about Jesus but she hasn’t. Also, she collaborated with the Mormons for a Christmas special thing. The Mormons. I’m not trying to hate on the Mormons or anything, but Mormonism is much different from the Christian message that Lauren Daigle is promoting. I, along with others, suspect that Lauren is just trying to gain Christian approval so that she can move up in her career. As Spencer Smith once said (he’s awesome btw), “Any Jesus that isn’t being persecuted is suspicious to me”. I feel like there is some arguing in the comments about what this or that verse means and how to be saved and all this stuff. I just want you to know that ultimately none of that matters if you ask God for salvation and forgiveness for your sins he will give it to you. He is a loving and grace filled God. That doesn't mean there won't be challenges you have to face. But it does mean that God will be with you through all of them. He loves you and he wants to welcome you into his family. Accepting him is the best choice you could ever make.

I’m glad that Selena is trying to draw herself closer to Jesus, but I’m not sure if Lauren Daigle is the person she should be listening to. She has had opportunities to speak out to large amounts of people about Jesus but she hasn’t. Also, she collaborated with the Mormons for a Christmas special thing. The Mormons. I’m not trying to hate on the Mormons or anything, but Mormonism is much different from the Christian message that Lauren Daigle is promoting. I, along with others, suspect that Lauren is just trying to gain Christian approval so that she can move up in her career. As Spencer Smith once said (he’s awesome btw), “Any Jesus that isn’t being persecuted is suspicious to me”.
