I have a proclaimed Gay son. I love him with all my heart, I will always be there for him. However, that doesn't change that the word of God says he is living in sin. I pray for him everyday. I feel the same way about all homosexuals.

I had a problem with Lauren Daigle's ignorance and denying the WORD of God, not her desire to share her faith with non-believers in secular environments. After all, that is precisely what Christians are specifically called to do. God's Living WORD doesn't change. Jesus Christ Himself is literally the Living WORD of God. (John 14) He is not to be denied. How can a brain surgeon speak at a medical conference, yet not know his subject matter? How can Lauren Daigle represent the WORD of the Living God, Jesus Christ, without studying; and knowing, the basics of His life-saving teachings? Compromise with the secular world and the devil separates us from God Himself. There will be an astronomical amount of good, loving people who will not go to Heaven because they did not accept the TRUTH, the Living WORD, Jesus Christ. The Bible says to choose this day whom you will serve. What if God allowed Lauren Daigle these open-door opportunities to take a bold stand 'IN LOVE'...REAL LOVE, yet she walked away from the very mission God called her to, and they ended up spending an eternity in hell and damnation? If you really love them, TELL THEM THE TRUTH. That is how you participate in saving a life destined for the eternal Lake of Fire.

You are disappointed in a human. Fun fact: we humans are ALL sinners, and you should never put you faith/trust in man. She is learning and growing just as we all are, and her hesitation at answering may be because she has struggled with not wanting to turn people away from God. My biggest takeaway from this was that people are so quick to judge someone. She is my age. She may not be a seasoned Christian. She still has a lot to learn. Being a Christian is a constant walk with Christ. It's not a "I'm going to follow Christ and know everything today". Being a Christian is being on a battlefield with just you and God.
I remember all the negative comments she was getting from the "christian" community after she'd appeared on those shows. Instead of bashing her faith, the Christian community should have been praying for her spiritual growth and boldness to proclaim the truth of God's Word. Yes, she fell short with her early mainstream television appearances; but that is why we pray for her as I said above. If Christians spent half their time doing what Jesus called us to do instead of judging one another, we might have seen the world saved sevent times over.
As you said, when Christians do what Jesus called us to do, part of it is to discern (with the help of God's Spirit) what's true and what isn't. God calls us to not judge in hypocrisy, but He also warns us about false teachers who will lead people astray. Unfortunately, many still judge with a holier-than-thou attitude, but judging in itself isn't the problem. We HAVE to judge what's right and wrong if we need to avoid the latter, and to warn those we care about as well. If we simply aim to please people and not hurt their feelings when they're on their way to self-destruction, you're only saving yourself by being a people pleaser. We're called to look out for each other in love and truth- and that includes calling something or someone out if it isn't biblical.
Finally, someone brave enough to talk about Lauren's faith in Jesus. She has been put through the world's questions about her faith and she is....... neutral & luke warm. Did we not learn anything when reading our Bible?! Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick" in Mark 2:17, Luke 5:31-32, and Matthew 9:12 Jesus is responding to a question from the Pharisees about why he is eating with tax collectors and other people considered "sinners". Jesus tells the Pharisees to learn the meaning of the scripture that says God desires mercy, not sacrifice, and that he has come to call sinners, not the righteous. Maybe some ought to read it over and over.

It tells us in the Bible, judge not lest you too shall be judged. Jesus himself did many things the heads of the religious sect didn't approve of, if you remember, that's what got him crucified. In John 4 is the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. She had 5 previous husbands and she was not married to man she lived with now. Yet Jesus revealed himself as Messiah to her. Not only that, but He used her to spread the message about Him in the village. She believed Him, and many villagers believed her testimony, and many others went out to hear Him, and they too Believed. If anybody asked her any theological questions, she may not have got them right, but that did not stop Jesus from using her. Jesus said they will know you are my disciples as show love to one another. I appreciate her ministry, and I would give her room and time to grow. Bless the Lord!
I don’t even need to watch this. Whether she is a true Christian or not is between her and God. We all struggle with certain biblical truths. She’s being judged because she’s in the public eye. God is the only true judge.
Doesn’t the Bible tell us the heart is deceitful above all things so no sense trying to judge that lol We as Christians are not to judge the world - Jesus will do that. But we are to hold brothers and sisters in Christ to account - as per the apostle Paul - and we are to love them. So my opinion is that when you have a platform such as she does , she bears a greater responsibility for her influence. Exactly right!🎉 Just because someone loves singing about the Lord, talks about God and her beautiful music encourages millions, that doesn't mean they have accepted Christ as their Savior. Even Satan believes in God. People think they just have to be a 'good person' and that's far from the Truth! I'd like to watch a video of Lauren actually saying she prayed and accepted Christ as her Savior at a certain time in her life! A true Born-again Christian may not remember the exact date, but they can recall the place and around the time it was; what led them to call in the Lord to forgive them and to give their lives to Him. I hope people understand what I'm saying. I love her music just as others do but I pray there was a day in her life that she prayed and gave her life to Him! The only thing I can say is to never leave your young daughters around him.

God the father used her song "Rescue" as a direct answer to a prayer. I literally cried out to him "I am sending out an SOS" in my prayer. This song played IMMEDIATELY after this prayer. He directly answered me using her song.

Wow, so many here said they weren’t judging Lauren while criticizing her lack of actions they believed she should do. I’m not sure if these people came from growing up in church or in the streets. But I can say that when I came to have a personal experience with Christ much changed immediately, and much took several years to change. And now even as a minister of the Gospel I still find myself growing and evolving into what Christ wants me to be. I’m not perfect and short of the time I end up in heaven I will not be perfect. I just remember what Jesus said to the Pharisees in John 8:7-11 “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first”. That applies to believers and non-believers. If you happen to be perfect God bless you. I’m reminded of what Isaiah said in 64:6 (NIV) 6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind, our sins sweep us away”. I know the bible tells us homsexuallity is a sin . But you cannot remove that demon by locking the person out of the church . They must be delivered. Inclusivness can lead to healing. Exclusivenes just causes division and resentment

Her music is real and incredibly full of joy. I refuse to judge someone based on what they've done or been through. Rather, look at what they've become and Who has worked in their lives. It is the journey and the struggle that makes one's faith real.

Every Born again True Christian is anointed. The fruit looks bad not good. She calls herself Christian but also has New Age beliefs. You can't promote both.
Precious moments were missed to stand strong in her faith, while still showing respect towards her new circle of friends within the gay community. She failed, therefore her faith has faded and needs reflection, as we pray she is guided back to a place of courage to speak God's truth in these areas of life.

Let me say that I am very impressed with Lauren Daigle‘s music, her voice, delivery, are very very good, she is so talented, rich in her ability to sing and inspire, Incredible lyrics, and composition. As they say on American Idol, which she was in three? times, “your the total package.” Says she’s “confused” about homosexuality as a sin and, has many friends who are gay. Pray that she comes to the knowledge of the truth as set forth by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. I don't think she's not a christian, it's definitely not our place to decide that. I think she just got big and let fame get to her. once she got big she kinda lost her roots and leaned more to the world than to God, at least that's what we saw. What we see only matters to an extent though. In her personal life she may be a huge christian. Her personal relationship with Christ is what matters, not what we think.

I can’t see how her influences were Godly, her music in some cases were great, but the focus is rooted all in flesh, can’t say her decisions were right.
The fact that she has the courage to sing about God is powerful in and of itself. Plus, remember when the Pharisees tested Jesus by asking if He felt the tax was right? and He responded by saying, "repay to God what belongs to God, and to Caesar what belongs to Caesar"? They attempted to trap Him, and He wisely outsmarted them. Lauren Daigle did the same thing. As a 13-year-old Catholic, this woman has played an enormous part in transforming the way I feel about God. She is a child of God, and no one is in a position to judge otherwise.
The thing that appalled the religious leaders of the day was that Christ went among those that were sick and lost and imperfect. I was raised in church all of my life and heard all the time what a Christian should look like, act like and sound like. I also learned from the sermon on the mount that whatever measure we judge another that by that measure we will be judged. While I read some of the critics of Lauren, I choose not to judge you but to pray for you. I am reminded of the women caught in adultery and they wanted to stone her and so the Lord simply stated he without sin cast the first stone and they all walked away. By GRACE are we all saved, I can't be good enough, pray enough or do enough to earn his love because Grace it is a gift given freely to ALL. After being a Christian for over 50 years, I now know that I don't have the answers only Christ does and because of that I have Grace. My goal is to let those around me know they are loved just as they ARE and to try and extend grace to them as Christ has done for me. I choose to leave the rest up to Jesus.

God's Living WORD doesn't change. Jesus Christ Himself is literally the Living WORD of God. (John 14) He is not to be denied. How can a brain surgeon speak at a medical conference, yet not know his subject matter? How can Lauren Daigle represent the WORD of the Living God, Jesus Christ, without studying; and knowing, the basics of His life-saving teachings? Compromise with the secular world and the devil separates us from God Himself.
There will be an astronomical amount of good, loving people who will not go to Heaven because they did not accept the TRUTH, the Living WORD, Jesus Christ. The Bible says to choose this day whom you will serve.
What if God allowed Lauren Daigle these open-door opportunities to take a bold stand 'IN LOVE'...REAL LOVE, yet she walked away from the very mission God called her to, and they ended up spending an eternity in hell and damnation? My biggest takeaway from this was that people are so quick to judge someone.
She is my age. She may not be a seasoned Christian. She still has a lot to learn. Being a Christian is a constant walk with Christ. It's not a "I'm going to follow Christ and know everything today". Being a Christian is being on a battlefield with just you and God.
I remember all the negative comments she was getting from the "christian" community after she'd appeared on those shows.
Instead of bashing her faith, the Christian community should have been praying for her spiritual growth and boldness to proclaim the truth of God's Word.

As you said, when Christians do what Jesus called us to do, part of it is to discern (with the help of God's Spirit) what's true and what isn't. God calls us to not judge in hypocrisy, but He also warns us about false teachers who will lead people astray. Unfortunately, many still judge with a holier-than-thou attitude, but judging in itself isn't the problem. We HAVE to judge what's right and wrong if we need to avoid the latter, and to warn those we care about as well. If we simply aim to please people and not hurt their feelings when they're on their way to self-destruction, you're only saving yourself by being a people pleaser. We're called to look out for each other in love and truth- and that includes calling something or someone out if it isn't biblical.
Finally, someone brave enough to talk about Lauren's faith in Jesus. She has been put through the world's questions about her faith and she is....... neutral & luke warm. Nothing like her songs that express the way, the truth & the life..Jesus Christ.... its obvious she needs prayers & she is not sold out for Jesus Christ.... meaning she is not willing to die or get persecuted for her faith like Jesus did for us.

It tells us in the Bible, judge not lest you too shall be judged. Jesus himself did many things the heads of the religious sect didn't approve of, if you remember, that's what got him crucified. He also told the over zealous men that were going to stone the woman, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. There seems to be a great many of the over zealous casting stones on here. The biggest thing I take away from Gods word is YOU love thy neighbor as yourself and let Him take care of the judging part. In John 4 is the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. She had 5 previous husbands and she was not married to man she lived with now. Yet Jesus revealed himself as Messiah to her. Not only that, but He used her to spread the message about Him in the village. She believed Him, and many villagers believed her testimony, and many others went out to hear Him, and they too Believed. If anybody asked her any theological questions, she may not have got them right, but that did not stop Jesus from using her. Jesus said they will know you are my disciples as show love to one another. I appreciate her ministry, and I would give her room and time to grow. Bless the Lord!

Even Satan believes in God. People think they just have to be a 'good person' and that's far from the Truth! I'd like to watch a video of Lauren actually saying she prayed and accepted Christ as her Savior at a certain time in her life! A true Born-again Christian may not remember the exact date, but they can recall the place and around the time it was; what led them to call in the Lord to forgive them and to give their lives to Him. I actually knew Pastor Chris Hodges when he was a youth pastor at the now disgraced New Life Church in Colorado Springs.Thirty years ago, my friend Jessica shared a very disturbing & convincing story with me about him & her when he was her youth pastor. The only thing I can say is to never leave your young daughters around him.
She loves God and others which is what that master stated is the greatest commandment, she follows Jesus and woke me back up to follow Christ. Be careful of who you judge because she is bringing more people to loving the Alpha & Omega!

God the father used her song "Rescue" as a direct answer to a prayer. I literally cried out to him "I am sending out an SOS" in my prayer. This song played IMMEDIATELY after this prayer. He directly answered me using her song.

Wow, so many here said they weren’t judging Lauren while criticizing her lack of actions they believed she should do. I’m not sure if these people came from growing up in church or in the streets. But I can say that when I came to have a personal experience with Christ much changed immediately, and much took several years to change. And now even as a minister of the Gospel I still find myself growing and evolving into what Christ wants me to be. I’m not perfect and short of the time I end up in heaven I will not be perfect.
I just remember what Jesus said to the Pharisees in John 8:7-11 “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first”. That applies to believers and non-believers. If you happen to be perfect God bless you. I know the bible tells us homsexuallity is a sin . But you cannot remove that demon by locking the person out of the church . They must be delivered. Inclusivness can lead to healing. Exclusivenes just causes division and resentment

I like how people will demand that Lauren condemn homosexuality as a sin but won't call out preachers who know, some of their single parishioners are sexually active but won't call it out because they're good tithers.
Her music is real and incredibly full of joy. I refuse to judge someone based on what they've done or been through. Rather, look at what they've become and Who has worked in their lives. It is the journey and the struggle that makes one's faith real.

Precious moments were missed to stand strong in her faith, while still showing respect towards her new circle of friends within the gay community. Let me say that I am very impressed with Lauren Daigle‘s music, her voice, delivery, are very very good, she is so talented, rich in her ability to sing and inspire, Incredible lyrics, and composition. She is pretty and attractive. As they say on American Idol, which she was in three? times, “your the total package.” Says she’s “confused” about homosexuality as a sin and, has many friends who are gay. Pray that she comes to the knowledge of the truth as set forth by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. I think she just got big and let fame get to her. once she got big she kinda lost her roots and leaned more to the world than to God, at least that's what we saw. What we see only matters to an extent though. In her personal life she may be a huge christian. Her personal relationship with Christ is what matters, not what we think.

The fact that she has the courage to sing about God is powerful in and of itself. Plus, remember when the Pharisees tested Jesus by asking if He felt the tax was right? and He responded by saying, "repay to God what belongs to God, and to Caesar what belongs to Caesar"? They attempted to trap Him, and He wisely outsmarted them. Lauren Daigle did the same thing. As a 13-year-old Catholic, this woman has played an enormous part in transforming the way I feel about God. She is a child of God, and no one is in a position to judge otherwise.
I believe Lauren Daigle is a great witness for Christ.
The thing that appalled the religious leaders of the day was that Christ went among those that were sick and lost and imperfect. I was raised in church all of my life and heard all the time what a Christian should look like, act like and sound like. I also learned from the sermon on the mount that whatever measure we judge another that by that measure we will be judged. While I read some of the critics of Lauren, I choose not to judge you but to pray for you. I am reminded of the women caught in adultery and they wanted to stone her and so the Lord simply stated he without sin cast the first stone and they all walked away. By GRACE are we all saved, I can't be good enough, pray enough or do enough to earn his love because Grace it is a gift given freely to ALL. After being a Christian for over 50 years, I now know that I don't have the answers only Christ does and because of that I have Grace. My goal is to let those around me know they are loved just as they ARE and to try and extend grace to them as Christ has done for me. I choose to leave the rest up to Jesus.
