I know his damage got nerfed in TT2 with expanded moveset. But man... Jinpachi is still one hell of fighter despite those nerfs, arguably the strongest character or even just boss.. He hits hard specially that 10 hit combo, with that unfair damage lmao, and those sample combos are sick

I don't mind the DP, fireball and Tatsu, but Akuma still plays too much like a 2D character. Gut his meter, make his super combo a second RA and give him some of Jinpachi's strings and he'd be much better.
Brian exactly! So naturally theyd try to make him similar to the game he came from ;) he’s a tech demo for Tekken x Street Fighter. So all the 2d will play like him. Geese, Eliza and Noctis to a certain extent all have similar setups. Noctis is a little less but he def has 2D jump moves lol

Yeah, it felt like a continuation of T5:DR Devil Jinpachi moveset, but if now Jinpachi is supposed to have everything under control he should have the defensive stance, that lacks in T5 for obvious reasons like Devil Jin. We should have had a completely different Jinpachi both animation and moveset wise.

I am dissapointed that Jinpachi didn't play a major role in Tekken 7, Akuma can rot in hell for all i care.

Jinpachi Mishima is my favorite Tekken character in TTT2 because he's very easy for me to play.
Despite losing his stun, he never lost those long reach attack. Literally no counterplay.
