Devil Jin is at his best in Tekken 5. He looks, sounds, and fights in a genuinely intimidating manner. Just a power-hungry nigh-unstoppable monster. It feels like later games have "humanized" him and transferred some of his aura to regular Jin.
Tbf, he sounds exactly the same as Jin in Tekken 5. It’s not until DR he got the voice filter

Devil Jin looked so dead and uncanny in 5. His render makes him look like a zombie with his pose, and that empty and soulless stare with those empty and soulless eyes.
As if something or someone possessed Jin's body, and completely transformed him into a mindless corpse...with wings, horns, and lasers on top of all that!
I'd argue that. His T6 form is most intimidating with these white eyes and a bunch of brand new moves. In T5 he still is a lot like T3 Jin.
Personally Omen stance Jin is my favorite Devil Jin. The way the Lightning is handled in that form is so cool it makes it feel like he's actually holding back more when fully in Devil form

This game has such beautifully bizarre move interactions, especially with these specific characters. You used them all to great effect here. Felt like a movie once again

I love how that epic ending to Devil Jin vs. Jinpachi was gradually built towards, with Devil Jin finally learning from his previous mistakes to secure the victory.
Devil Jin had a harder time beating Asuka than Hwoarang

Jinpachi laid broken before the Devil controlling Jin's body, the dark spirit's talon disrespectfully holds the dead devil by the skull as it's wicked power was siphoned out of his corpse, Jin's body undergoes a horrible transformation, fur grows, muscle swells breaking the gauntlets and chains and the horns atop his head lengthen, taking on a more bestial appearance, with an explosion of raw power the Devil had finally snuffed out Jin's light letting out a bloodthirsty howl within the maelstrom but...was it also the howl of Jin mourning the loss of his humanity?

Never seen a mastery of Devil Jin (especially against that Jinpachi) at this level, iron nerves for sure.
It felt like a film, the last Jin's laser hitting after avoiding those two Jinpachi's "fat blows" by flying was something i would never achieve this way. Praise to u my man!
It's not him playing both characters but the TAS programm my friend, so the nerves are literally iron :)

I did not know he had the ability to block in the air like he does in Tekken 7. Either it's a bug or feature but at this rate it's a feature lol. Really cool video. The wait for this one makes sense compared to Jin vs Jinpachi.

오랜만에 보는 철권5 TAS 최고다... 아스카가 저렇게 재밌는 캐릭터인줄 몰랐습니다!
기본 오른발이 발생 10F이고, 천우(4RK)는 노멀 히트시 경직이 커서 강제이지, 의외로 스펙이 좋은 기술은 있지만 이거보다 더 좋은 캐릭터가 있어서 뒤에서 연추(4RP) 콤보 말고는 크게 데미지를 줄 수 있는 기술이 적었기 때문에 그다지 좋은 캐릭터는 아닙니다 😂

Your TAS are always so incredible! In the older games, could you block while jumping, like DJ did here a lot? Also, he blocked Jinpachi's throw after being grabbed (so a throw "block" not a throw "break"). Was that a thing in older Tekken games too? I remember this happening multiple times during your Jack vs. Jack TAS in TT1
DVJ's wavu hop jump(f,n,d,df,uf) is auto block system. I don't know if it's from TK5.1 or TK DR, but it's gone. 🤔 Of course, DVJ is very advantage if it is blocked in the hop jump block.

It is a shame we have not seen Asuka and Jin interact since Tekken 5. I would love to see them team up against Kazuya in Tekken 8.
Her identity of being a Kazama has been ignored since the presence of the character. It's a good point to fit her into the main story but somehow the narrator never thought of that.
