  • We are at quarters of Montreal Fire Department (Service de Sécurité Incendie de Montréal) Station 30 at 5 Avenue Laurier West in the Mile End/Le Plateau neighborhood, where we see Engine 30 (Engine 230) as it responds to an EMS call for a person with chest pain at 303 Avenue Mozart East between Avenue Henri-Julien, Rue Belanger, and Rue Drolet. I am unsure of the outcome, but the engine returned about 10 minutes later. Engine 230 is a 2021 Pierce Saber FR7010 / Maxi Métal MaxiSaber pumper. Enjoy the sounds of the tones as they go off, as well as the view of the engine as it responds. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on October 28th, 2022.

My wife and I are from Illinois - 25 miles northeast of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, a city with a great French history. Several years ago we made a decision while visiting friends in New Hampshire to cross the border into beautiful Canada. I could give several examples of the Montreal hospitality. Just let it be said that we were treated wonderfully. It made us very pleased and proud to to say Canada is our neighbor and, more specifically, we feel like the people of Quebec are good friends. Thank you.

At 0:28-0:31 can someone translate for me what the dispatcher said? Better can anyone translate word for word what was said on the tone out?

Visiting tomorrow. Do most Montreal firefighters speak English?

So you just got lucky to meet a guy who spoke English? Or do you know some French?

@fdnyfilms3354 I do speak some French, but the guy I was talking to is a docent of the firefighting museum upstairs in this firehouse, and he spoke English.
