Fire semi number 492 is a rare one.
They are now retied. I'm pretty sure the oldest truck still in service is a 1993 E-one Superior. (It is a spare truck, 483)
290 has tandem wheels because it once had a Quintech SkyFive ladder on the roof, but was converted to a pumper afterwards.
Ah, that's interesting, makes sense as well. Thanks for the information, anything I can learn is valuable!

No problem. Don't stop learning either. There's plenty of stuff TO learn in this hobby. ;)
Good job dude. Another E-ONE like the yellow one here, has just been repainted red, and saw it at station 45 a couple of weeks ago.
+retroolschool Thanks, Elton! Can I ask your opinion on the yellow on these trucks (assume that they have fresh coats of paint, because these look awfully worn)?
+Rian McDonald I like em because they're old school and original, but your right they are really worn out paint jobs.
+retroolschool Notice how there are flames etched out of the degraded stickers on 282 haha!
+Rian McDonald Didnt notice it no.
Perfect :-)
Merci, Jean! I'm pretty sure that 290 is still at 55, and 286 is at Station 54 right now.
Awesome !!
+tb grepolis Thank you! :D
GREAT VIDEO!
+Brian Bui (CSX8900) Thanks, Brian!
Great video!
Thanks a lot, Simon!
We all know where those Yellow Things came from.
What stickers for
Why the can't wash engine 290 then
Are they using the old ones in protest?
+Hallo IkBenWill Lol, it doesn't quite work that way 😅 . No, spare trucks fill in for a others when the regular trucks undergo inspection or have to be repaired in the garage shops.
Who ever put all those political stickers on the trucks should be kicked in the Nads, Great video love the old Engines
Cool old rigs but I can't believe these toilets still pass safety inspections to stay in any kind of service.
