@AnglerCarl I decorated the tree in peg 19 with 4 feeders a couple of weeks ago. The ide lurk over there this time of year, but if you can get them going with a maggot feeder, you can have a cracking day.
Short rods are brilliant I have 3 Preston wandzees You can get most distances you need on commercials Easy netting No tree tangles Edge fishing perfection
Hi Carl, I have the "Drennan Red range" Carp feeder rod, and I'm told from the Tackle shop I bought it from that the Daiwa tips fit it. So it follows they are Interchangeable ? I also have the Drennan, Still Water Feeder rod (10 foot to 11 foot 6) So maybe have a look at Drennan Tips ? Maybe try a 2 or 3 inch length of Silicon Tubing slid on the tip, if the hole is too big, like I did with one of my Tele's !! There's Always a Way !!
@@felgate11 I’ll have a look at that mate thank you I always thought that you had to get Diawa ones but after the guru ones fitting seems like they are other brands too that fit 👍🏻
@@pauledwards6470 definitely agree mate some people use 10ft rods on small waters and forget about the 7,8 and 9 ft rods definitely think more anglers should try them 👍🏻
Because the rod is so reasonably priced, I would buy the rod, get the spare tip, and sell it as new with one less tip. And you have yourself a spare tip. ❤ Great rod by the way, I have this 7ft one but also the 10ft. ❤
I have the 7ft same as you and I use mine on a 12 meter venuethat has ide in there and it's a fantastic pice of kit 👌
Cracking video pal a bit like my fishing nothing ever goes to plan either 😂
@@StephenPickering-b5u thanks mate and 😂😂just have to go with the flow sometimes I did have a good size ide but that was when I stopped filming 😂
@@AnglerCarl You are doing a good job Carl hope the winter fishing goes ok temp due to fall this week may make it even tougher 😬
@ thank you mate really appreciate that and I think it’s time for some more perch and pike videos with the temps going down 😂
You need to be tight to the far bank using the feeder on Bircliffe Carl Beware of the overhanging trees, though.
@@48counties19 I was going to but them trees was in my mind 😂
