RIP Cristian. Huge loss to the motorcycle community. We will miss your positivity and your enthusiasm for all things motorcycle. You lived a short but a very privileged life. Ride in paradise my friend.

I keep coming back to this video. I bought my Africa Twin this past week. I think this gorgeous scenery sold me. Thanks for always putting together such great content.
I feel so ignorant. I am looking at Africa Twins and this channel has been a huge help. I stumbled onto it a few weeks ago and am blown away that someone so passionate and young has passed away. After watching hours of footage I stumbled onto some comments saying he died and am so sad. This channel is inspiring to thousands of people and am so deeply sad to learn about the loss of such a giant in the motorcycle community.
This video is fascinating. And what makes it even more incredible, is that all the footage is made... by one man and a drone. Really, really good job you do. Thank you!
I visit Kyrgyzstan on a roadtrip this year. The nature, the people absolutly wonderful. Later I buying my AT :-) and have now 6000km. Top bike, i love it. Thank you for sharing this video.
The landscape and scenery is incredible. I appreciate the effort you put in for us TH-cam people. The amount of times you had to stop and go and re take videos/pictures to shoot this must have been labour intensive. Keep up the awesome work!! You deserve way more subs!
Rode this area in 2017 on my Africa Twin. It really is gorgeous and the people are amazing. Looking at the video is great, but going out there and riding your bike is the best!
Thank you, Mike. I really appreciate your toughts. This is Cristian, the guy in the video above. After five years with the DriveMag Riders, it's time for a new step. Two weeks ago we launched a new TH-cam channel, and we're not a part of the Riders anymore. I was browsing through the old comments and have to say that we really appreciate your feedback. And we're also inviting you to join our new TH-cam channel - Racing and Adventure.
So sad to hear of his passing, the passion that we have in motorcycling, and the risks we face on the road, from inattentive drivers that could take our lives in a instant. RIP Christian
A client of mine once said :" You should never have trouble letting your bike drop, or picking it up after that. If You do, then it´s not an adventurebike!" People, travel light. It will bring so much more fun into the ride!
@@jeffdean7666 Anything lighter will be better for offroad purpose. From 790 to 701 to tenere 700 to even gs 850(with lower CG and lift points) etc. On the open road and long touring (that this bike was meant for) the others are worse of course.
Some thing not too heavy for you. Africa Twin it big, heavy bike, but for longe range adventure, its great. TW 200 is light, but not realy a long haul bike, due to it being too slow.
Thinking the same thing. The loaded bike weight and the rider need to be compatible. If you cannot pick it up easily 2 or 3 times probably best to stay on the bitumen.
Christian, you're one of the better moto journalists out there. (Bogdan isn't bad either.) Stunning central Asian scenery and locales. And when you drop your Africa Twin, it's just par for the course. Love these videos. Keep 'em coming!
Brings back memories of my trip to Kyrgyzstan over three years ago...only wish I was able to do it on an adventure bike. I was at the top of the switch backs to Song-Kul in your video but did not make it to Song-Kul...too much snow in April. For a small country, I was amazed by the views. I would recommend a visit to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai for anyone visiting the area. Cheers from the USA and thank you for sharing your journey.
Thanks for sharing. Brilliant trip and great video as always. Great bike and you make riding that thing on those roads look so easy! Can’t wait for the next episode.
Great videography and great review of the bike. You have also made me fall in love with this part of the world. You should sponsor some bike tours to some of the places you go. I would so sign up for something like that. Thank you and great job!
Ohhh.... what a journey... i'm dreaming about this and 've been waiting for this vlog a long time already. Good luck, keep going, keep doing this, keep inspirating 😎
Absolutely fantastic! I’ve been waiting for this video for months and it didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait for the next episode. Love the drone footage and general videography. Thank you so much for this, it makes me want to go there. Better than anything on TV.
Great Adventure, ride footage, overwatch footage - you are so the guy to show off bike and adventure! Also, whatever you ride on such adventures, I always come away from your presentations wanting whatever you were riding! Much thanks for all you and your team do!
What and absolute downer to hear of Christian's passing. Had only just discovered the channel and was really enjoying his style and the content of the motorcycles. Condolences to his family and the DriverMag team. As we say in New Zealand "Kia Kaha"
What beautiful views :) I was literally telling myself "he's gonna drop it" when I saw you turning your head for the drone while negotiating the turn. Ah the flip side of solo travel. Good one.
Oh no, I didn't realize that Cristian has passed… I am so sorry to hear that. My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. Rest in peace Cristian, I will miss you.
Frickin gorgeous!!! Sitting here on a lazy Sunday in 🇨🇦 (Vancouver) watching this and dreaming about having the balls to go do trip like this on my ‘17 F800GSA. Need to find an organized tour for this type of trip!
Great time to be riding in Arizona right now!! Aside from the virus situation. Great time to be in the hills "social distancing " in hrand fashion on my Africa Twin AS DCT.
Spectacular vid mate! Good to see you didn’t edit out the parts where you were lifting the bike and lubing the chain. Shows how hard these big bikes can be to move around.
Man this was amazing!!! I loved it. This is great adventure on an amazing machine and having the drone follow you and all the controls there on the tank bag is unreal. The drone footage is on another level. I love what you do and your content. Thanks for sharing. Cheers. P.s. My first reaction to the drop at at 3:50 was you so did that on purpose just to add the footage into the vid and talk about the cases :-) . I think you're too good a rider to do that. Had a couple of looks, I'm not so sure now but still going with on purpose LOL. Also... have you considered a centre stand :-)

Any bike you take to an adventure is an adventurebike. He dropped it and picked up again and ride into the sunset living his dream!
based on the terrain he rode, the upcoming 390 adventure could easily do this trip and be picked up without straining.
