Being somewhat new to tech and confused about the differences between servers and all, this is the first video that completely clarifies everything for me. After watching this, the first thing that came to mind was "Who on earth is this guy?" You did justice to this and i've followed. Will go through other videos now. You're simply the best. Thanks.
I find it amazing that there are so many videos out there and I mean loads of videos that try to explain this stuff and unfortunately you come away more confused. The garbage they waffle off is ridiculous, but this guy has it spot on, clearly explained, slowly with great, simple examples thank you so much! 🙏
I am new to the tech field and this is the only video in TH-cam that enabled me to understand what web servers and application servers mean. Thank you so much!😄😄👏👏
I have a domain name that an app is using via apache2. I am building an e-commerce with django. How do I set it up so the app and the website is able to use the same domain? Best practice?
So when we install Apache tomacat software in the brand new server then it becomes Web server when we install the application software in the brand new server then it becomes App server when we install database software in the brand new server then it becomes db server Please confirm if my understand is right or wrong?
Still no one explains HOW the comms between you "application server" i guess the API, and the application services actually work, you can draw all the arrows you want. what type of request is sent to the application service and how are they queued? I can think of a few ways to do it, but I want to know best practices. Moving on to the next video.
