I don't think we should compare them as Dimash has actually said "He would love to be as good as Lara Fabian" so he admires her just like you and me and not fare to compare as he is one of her biggest fans. we r just lucky to be able to enjoy them both. I wish I could just be able to listen to them live on the same stage. That would be kind of a dream for me.
@@trv984for some reason New Wave Hall performances always have the studio version added over the video when it’s published to TH-cam which is annoying I guess they don’t want a repeat of what happened when Dimash has serious audio issues at the venue a few years back when he performed Adagio from what I was told by people who were there he sounded incredible but the audio quality coming from New Wave was not so great

Lara does have a bit of a French accent in the song. She said back in a 2010 interview that she was coached on how to pronounce the Russian lyrics, so she worked on her Russian for sure. Lara's voice is so lovely, and this melody & lyrics so beautiful, her accent is not important at all. ;-)
