Fall Kayak Bass Fishing Lure Competition - Baby Bull Shad/Yamamoto Yamatanuki/Swimbait/Bladebait

- Fall bass fishing can land you your PB, or crazy numbers. The fall feed can result in great fishing days, and this day was no exception. If you've ever wondered what bait you should use in fall, this competition is a good resource for you.
The baits used on this day were the CatchCo/Mike Bucca's Baby Bull Shad, Yamamoto Yamatanuki, Z-Man Elaztech Paddlerz Scented Swimbait (with the Z-Man Finesse Bulletz Jighead, and the Bass Pro Shop XPS Laser Bladebait, all used in a Class 1 River (Harpeth River, in Middle Tennessee) in late November.
Species of fish caught include: smallmouth bass, spotted bass, rock bass, and a bluegill.
Nice video...thanks!! Not sure your retrieve...but... the swim bait might get decent results literally dragging it slowly along the bottom. Other than that its low and slowwwwwww in the winter. I don't have the patience...but some of the bigger fish I've caught in the winter are on the bottom were I have to set my rod down for a minute or two and then when I pick it back up they hit as soon as the lure moves...keept it up...enjoying the content!!

I live about an hour from the Narrows. I just got a kayak and would love to do a trip with ya if you ever want the company. I go out almost every weekend that I'm able. 😃
