Another beautiful blanket must say you explain very clear you are great teacher I’m going to try to make them all I can’t choose one I love them all thank you Gloria
You are very welcome I meant every word my daughter wants me to do a big throw and she picked the pattern Rosie so I have to do section’s because of the amount of stitches one thing I not sure how I’m going to join them have you got any ideas or a video to show how to join the outside borders together thank you Gloria
I just completed this baby blanket and it turned out so nice!! I was wondering if you have a pattern/instructions for a coordinating baby hat? Thank you.
I absolutely love all of your blankets. I am considering this one for a little boy that will be born in November. His name will be Michael. Wondering if you have done a Michael blanket. I could always call this one Michael without changing anything on here. Also I would like to purchase my yarn that you use. Is the yarn for this from the Uk? Thanks for any help. I will check back for an answer later. I have already done 3 of your lovely patterns. Happy knitting. A loyal fan.
I don’t have a Michael blanket no! But don’t let that stop you from giving your blanket whatever name you like, I pick names just so they are easy for me to remember which pattern is which 😀 The yarn I used is Stylecraft bambino in denim blue, but would actually now reccomend King Cole cherish DK - it’s become a firm favourite of mine to use.
Hello. As a beginner knitter I do get confused with yarn. I purchased a Loops &Thread #3 light but it seems very thin for a blanket. I think I may have bought the wrong wool. What do you mean by double knit? I’m in Canada Thanks for your help. Maybe I purchase the yarn you suggested
@@SnufflebeanYarn thank you for responding! That will just change the color across the width of the blanket. I was envisioning pink for the garter stitch border and every p5 section, with gray for the k1p1 sections. I just can't wrap my brain on how to make that happen.
You’d have to have 2 balls of pink and swap to the pink as you start and finish the borders - it’s difficult to explain without having a video as you need to twist the yarns as you swap to make sure the knitting stays in one piece.
Which stitch? These blanket videos are designed for people who know how to knit and purl rather than being beginner videos - I have separate videos for the knit and purl technique I use that go in nice beginner friendly steps.
I love your patterns! I knit for nursing homes and make lap throws and your blankets work out really well. Thank you so much for sharing 💗💗
It’s an absolute pleasure! Happy Knitting 😀🧶
I don’t remember how I found your channel but I’m so happy that I did. Thank you for sharing your beautiful blankets. Eric reminds me of Stanley.
Yes, they’re similar styles and a lovely easy 2 row repeat! Which one will you pick? I’m so glad you found my channel too! Happy Knitting 😀🧶
I like the twisted knit stitches, too. 🙂
Love this! Will be added to my to do list - I love making baby blankets
Me too! They’re my absolute favourite thing to knit 😀🧶

Hi this Gloria again I’m not sure if you got my last message about how to join the two sections together seamlessly hope you can help thank you Gloria
@@gloriavella3025 hi, sorry I missed that comment - I’m really not sure how you’d join in panels, maybe with mattress stitch?
Thank you for your reply

Double knit is light worsted or 3 weight. I don’t like to knit baby blankets with yarn that’s too thick. I use 4mm (US size 6) needles
@@SnufflebeanYarn wow that was fast lolol thank you so much for your help. I’m excited to get going on this project
Where can i find pattern
It’s here: www.snufflebean.co.uk/how-to-knit-the-eric-baby-blanket/
I'm doing this in one color right now and loving the pattern. How would you suggest working this pattern with 2 different colors?
Just change yarn on a right side row at the beginning of the row and it should work

@@SnufflebeanYarn another video? What a great idea! Right? ☺
What does it look like on the back?
I’m pretty sure I show you in the video?
I do, it’s at about 19:36. Hope that helps 😀
How long should the needle be, please?
I use 80-120cm for a baby sized blanket 😀
Thank you!@@SnufflebeanYarn
You go so fast but is imposible to get the stitch your doing !! It’s some way to teach us the stitch you using in another video ?
