Edit: Unless you mean with his win ratios, that would be tricky though with 1 battle 0 wins tanks

@@mejdzrenterprises I do mean by win rate. He would have to obviously exclude tanks with less than 10 or 20 battles. I'm sure there are some tanks in his garage that he's played more than a couple times that don't have great win rates. That would be something interesting for him to go through and explain why his win rate is low for that particular tank.
Just something I thought of when he had his garage open and I saw some tanks with lower than his average win rates.

Would be interesting to see you play stock tanks, as when grinding as a new player some of these stock tanks are terrible to play and are probably the cause of the low win rates.
Definitely. He played the "worst tier 6 tanks," but using equipment and having crews with BiA and intuition isn't really the authentic "worst tank" experience.

When I started playing, over 10 years ago, all of these were considered pretty decent tanks. The wheel turns.
10 years ago the game did not suck. Up until (not including) ver 1.0, the game made sense. It doesn't make sense anymore after ver 1.0 was released. It's terrible.
the easy8 took a turn for the worse when the japanese heavies were introduced. until then you could make the pen work, but against the o-i it's pointless. the t-34-85m also completely outclasses the e8.
I haven't played in 4 or 5 years and went back into it recently for the "account time" rewards drop this year.... yeah the game has definitely got worse. I play World of Warships and both games have gone super far into the fantasy that they may as well not even bother with "historical" vehicles at all.
The Easy "sucks" because it's up against tier VII and VIII. It does fine vs VI. Just my opinion.

I can’t believe you only got one tier 8 game in all that. Whenever I play tier 6 all I ever get is tier 8 games.
Same here, play tier 5 get tier 7, play 6 get 8, play 7 get 9 and 8 get 10. You get good at playing those higher tier tanks. You blow up much better.

He makes it no secret he cherry picks his games. You're not seeing the other matches where he probably did get bottom tier most of the time.

Seriously, I quit sometime after the French tree came in I think.. the Easy 8 was easily my favorite tank in the game, with both my best Win % (64%) and most kills in a match (12). Sad to see its fall from grace.
I've said it before, the big problem with the HE rework, other than zero damage hits, is the fact that they never improved the accuracy or buffed the alternative gun choices. (Example : E2 Sherman 76mm gets 177mm of penetration with gold rounds, but the HVAP M93 should get 239mm... Like the Firefly, Achilles, etc. 177mm is roughly what the pen should be at 1000 meters. Other tanks at the same tier or even lower get accurate, or better than real penetration
Meanwhile, the Shermans get arbitrarily balanced penetration, making the alternate guns lackluster at best.)
As for accuracy, "Now you have to aim" is a hip statement among certain segments of the player base, but with an aim circle that covers half of the bloody map... Well, it's a crap shoot if you will snipe a cupola, or see your shell whizz off the map and land in War Thunder...
They need to give it the M71 shot which would buff the pen to 132mm and give it the M93 premium rounds. The tier 5 uses the same exact ammo.
To be fair, almost none of the T5-6 tanks get accurate pen. PzIV's had 140mm starting from the F2 (so the H should have it), the L/70 on the Panther had 198mm pen, not this weird L/100 that's exclusive to WoT, which applies to the VK 30.01H, 30.02D and 30.02M too; the 85mm on the T-34-85 had 148mm pen, Tiger's 88 had 165, so neither the T6 Tigers nor the T7 Tiger are accurate... etc etc
Not to mention most guns on the tanks that actually existed aren't even accurate. Tiger 2 was never build with a 10.5, M6 never had a 90mm, IS-3 had the same gun as the IS-2, IS-1 never got the 122mm, only the Super Hellcat had a 90mm, not the "normal" one, Su-100 didn't have a 122mm (why would they even call it the Su-100 and not the Su-122 P that actually had it?), etc etc
Long story short, this game isn't accurate anywhere, it doesn't even try to be, and they're not claiming it anymore these days, either. it's all just balance purposes - the T6 shermans just got forgotten and drowned in power creep, because way back with just regular T-34-85's and VK30.02M's and stuff like that, they were pretty balanced and had actual upsides.
Not to mention >80% of the vehicles are made up at this point.
@@dierare All the newer tanks since British tech tree added has more realistic pen added ever since. WG gotta buff them all up. That is why all the old tanks are doing bad now.
@@makemap yes, the pen on the easy8 is awfull but remember one word keyhand said in a stream when buffing was discussed: "buffs are critical as the buff one one tank effects all the other tanks matched up against" a wrong buff can destroy the whole game.
a nerf is easier as it effects mostly if not eexclusively the nerfed tank.
@@dierare PZ 4 H should have been a tier 6. It faced off against T-34-85 and M4A3E8's. It was a later version of PZ 4. The tier 5 should have been Panzer 4 F2 or G version using the 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/43 as last gun. Accurate pen is what needs to be in this game to fix this to compete with later vehicles. Unhistorical guns can be removed any time.
The Problem with the E8 is, that it's virtually useless in Tier 8 matches and you get Tier 8 often, very often, within it's tier its a very decend tank

E8 is actually quite good when up tiered. It has decent pen with gold rounds and it has massive DPM. It has decent mobility and most importantly, a lot of gun depression with strong view range. It allows this tank to be flexible and to handle ridge lines well. E8 can peek and DPM down other vehicles little by little. Its vert stabs also allows it to peek and take a shot without much aiming. It makes a really strong and evasive tank. I did not felt as useless as I feel when up tiered with other tanks.
your dpm is insane, u can farm a lot of damage, has a nice moility and quite good at aiming. I remember my first M class with this baby in a tier 8 matchmaking with 3k damage. this tank shouldn't be in this video. I lost my respect for quickybaby
I honetly can't belive Easy 8 has worst win rate of any tier VI tank. I love Easy 8, great DPM, good gun handling, 12° of gun depresion, decent speed it's tier VI Comet and I adore Easy 8 even more than Cromwell. Maybe players can't make awful pen work. But it's a great tank
I'm surprised too. I like E8 more than Jumbo Sherman but Cromwell is still most fun imo. Sure it's not super awesome but it's enjoyable and it's a definition of average mid-tier medium.
Well, Easy 8/Sherman is like Tiger 1, a popular tank with many games and movies talk about them so new players want to play it and I think that most new players don't know much about other tank weakpoint...
My problem isn't the E8 it's the jumbo Sherman having the good 152mm armored turret as the first and the best turret being the weakest.

I remember back in early WoT tanks days watching a Wolfpack of easy 8s dropping t32s and other t8s just all full throttle and circle strafing..those were the days
some of us still do this. We just do it to defenders now!
Shermans had stabilizers in real life back in WW2, so I think thats the reason why this Easy 8 can have vert stabs.
Funny how the game is full of tanks and their stats that are like completely made up but then WG goes "yeah so there's this little detail about the E8 that we specifically made true to real life..."
@@VoltigeurGT IIRC, Shermans being able to use vert stabs has been a thing for as long as vert stabs have been in the game.

If I'm not wrong I mean the E8 was one of the first American tanks to be fully stabilized, and the VK28.01 was a beast before 9.18 as you could 1v1 almost any tank and just dance around them shooting HE or HEAT.
No, all of the Shermans had a stabilizer but the stabilizer only works vertically
I stopped playing wot like 6th months ago. I played from 1.1 If I remember correctly. The vk28 was one of my fav tanks, with the huge ramming power I outplayed a lot of tank, specially the paper type64s... Ended with 3 marks and 16.k games with 60% win ratio... And I was not even trying to play good, I was just memeing around ramming and bullyng small tanks...

I believe it’s because the easy 8 is an iconic tank at mid tiers so a lot of new players play it which drags down its win rating.

Easy8 bad? I do remember when i got it and had to fight IS-4 tank (when it was tier IX) with merely regular ammo. Perhaps that is why it feels so easy for me to play it nowadays. I never considered it might be underwhelming until WG announced they going to buff it. But i guess it's true - the competition on its tier grew and got better leaving it in the shadows and it's just me that didn't notice.
Thanks for video! For suggestion: maybe play tanks with fastest and slowest shell velocity.
I remember playing the E8 years ago and absolutely loving the voracious RoF on the gun. With a little help from your teammates, that thing could get around and just whittle down enemy hitpoints. But now with the sheer number of burst and/or DPM monsters that thing has to face, those risky plays just aren't worth it anymore

Can't go around saying it is so important and then ignore it, right?
The win percentage has nothing to do with how good a player is Quicky. Many times the losses are 2 to 3 times more than wins, and even though I am normally in the top 5 of the losing team, their metric doesn’t take those stats into consideration. Hit ratio, and damage per game may be better, but if you’re grinding tech tree tanks, and not just playing the same high tier or premium tanks with macked out crews, there’s no way to truly know a players true skill.
Poor Easy8 is basically a prime example of horrid powercreep.
It used to be a pretty solid medium on that tier. But at this stage, it is not only horribly outclassed by most other mediums on the same tier, it suffers due to matchmaking as well.

nah I'm playing since 2012 and I wouldn't say the tank was especially good even back then. For me it was always a rather mediocre tank, since tanks like T-34-85 and the german medium tanks were better with regards to armor, alpha dmg and penetration.
Power creep is the biggest reason why I don't play WoT anymore.
Nashorn is one of my fav tier 6 TD...lots of PEn and high dpm always like if i get into tier 8 games..working on my 3rd MoE on it

15:00 the KV1S has a really interesting history in game...
It started life at tier 6 where fully upgraded it was just a KV-122
Then it was replaced with the "KV-85" which could be set up as a historical KV-85, KV-100, or KV-122. At this time the KV-1S was downtiered to tier 5. IIRC stock it was a historical KV1S but it received access to the S-41 howitzer that one prototype received IRL (which was historically suggested to put it on the IS as well) and a turret which I've never seen any historical records of.
Then they brought it back up to tier 6. Not sure what they changed since I stopped playing the game but it doesn't look like they changed much
The Easy 8 was probably my joint favorite tank (tied with the E75) when I used to play. Vert stabs, vents, and gun rammer with a fully loaded crew and prem consumable made this thing feel incredible, especially with a full platoon of these with your friends
Any tank will feel amazing in such a scenario
I like it too, 56%, compared to my overall 51%.
Honestly this made me feel like an actually good player with my 54,5% win rate in Easy8, it's an absolute joy to play with the 2,5s machine gun, great gun depression, solid mobility, accuracy...Shame that I suck at playing any other tank :(

What I find fascinating about WoT these days is this was one of the best tier 6 tanks back in the day. I find it amazing how much its been nerfed through attrition. Very sad that's what this game is like these days.
The sad reality of a "free to play" and "service based game" where the devs have to constantly change and add things to keep making money in order to keep changing things to keep new players coming into it. There was a point where WoT was in a really good state, many years ago, and really wish it had been left like that. I'm at the point were I am enjoying games that get released "done" (as much as they can be these days) and I can just play them.

This really said something about the power creep in WOT
It use to be that u r in a flexible MT so you can spot or get around and not just brute force through the HT 2 tier higher then you and call it a problem
I absolutely adored my VK 2801 back in the 105mm days. Before the HE changes you were even able to have great games with standard ammo alone. And the innaccurate gun, poor camo, mediocre view range and big silhouette compared to other lights didn't really hold it back because at least it had that heavy-hitting alpha. You were even able to fight well-armored heavies and thus were more like a scouty medium rather than a pure scout. The main problem with the whole package was the good pen on the premium rounds that basically turned it into a fragile KV-1S on speed.
The worst part when they took the 105mm was that they didn't give the tank a new (less OP) gun that would've allowed it to perform the same role. A scout gun with good alpha, good penetration and bad DPM & accuracy would`ve made this certainly possible (something like 200 alpha, 160 pen, 1300 DPM, 0.42 accuracy, 2.5 aim time). It would've made brawling with other lights for scouting spots impossible but at least the tank would've kept some of its punch alive.
I love how QB playing worst tanks includes them being fully speced out with modules and gear. It also includes copious amounts of premium ammunition. I''m sorry QB, but this is not what we want to see.

More like this please 😁. You hit the nail on the head regarding less than ideal crews for new players. It’s really frustrating at lower tiers when I see players with 100k+ games spamming full gold from tier 3 up.

Play the worst tier 5s. I have been grinding the tier 5 soviet SPG to go down the tech tree, and to say i am lucky to be playing the lowest 3 mark req tank in the game and not an actual vehicle to compete effectively against the sealclubbers is an understatement
It was nice to hear QB sees the HE nerf patch as one of the worst - I agree, the nerfed HE was the reason I stopped playing. I used to have the most fun in the Jumbo and KV-2. Now the game is like "no fun, only tryhard, waaah"
I enjoy the format. But i would enjoy it more in a realistic scenario: MM -1, as it happens to everyone (if not -2) and not +2, +1 or even, that are just dreams for common games
Nice matchups. In 4 battles, 2 times top tier, 1 mid and 1 time bottom tier. I wish we (ordinary players) could have the same treatment.
Your absolutely right, MM is not fair at all. Here's my breakdown of ten random games, random tiers. One top tier game, one even tier game, 4 One tier lower games and 4 two tier lower games. Play that every day.
Given how bad the KV-1S is performing and the fact that Wargaming has it on their list of tanks to buff soon, I wonder if it'll get that 122mm gun like on the KV-85. That would bring it back a bit closer to what it used to be.
The M4A3E8 is also on their list of tanks to buff soon. I'm guessing it'll get improved pen on the top gun, and maybe some improvements to the frontal armor.
Hi QB, love your videos, but i never write a comment. I felt like i had too. This was a good video, but i feel like the point of the lowest winrate tanks fades away, when you play like you describe it with loads of gold rounds, great crew and all the things a newer player going up the techtree wouldnt have.
Might do a round where you play stock or allmost, with a 75 or 100 crew instead, to show how a great player like you can overcome that challange.

Well if all tanks were OP... it would be pretty boring. Some of these you have to think harder and work harder to get a good result. As Dirty Harry says, "A man has got to know his limitations". Games where low tier or otherwise crappy tanks put up a good fight are VERY entertaining.
It hurts my heart the Easy8 is listed as one of the worst T6 tanks. I've had some of my best games in that tank. No it's not perfect but I love it. I max ranked my first American crew in it. I played it that much. It was a fun grind :)
It really gets me burned out to see how you equip the tank and i can just see how p2w ammo makes it easy to play the game, i always get in t8 games being t6 and i dont use no premium ammo, you should try it and see how frustrating it can be, and i mean using normal ammo, no skill crew and just one equipment, playing in t8 having a t6. Those are my normal games as a normal player.
My little brother account got 3rd MoE on his Nashorn and his KV-1S while my account was Jackson and WZ-131 G FT
To help me and other rubbish players. How about you play the worst tanks without using Gold and just basic crew. No bonds or rations etc..
When I had to choose between the E8 and E2 I got the E2 cuz it had better armor and ended up with me having the first and only tank I have 3 marks, really fun tank and easy to play back then.
Play sum stock doesn't have to be the worst tanks then but just bad stock tanks where you as a new playerr are nearly forced to spam gold even if you don't have many credits just to get out of the stock state, that would be really what it's like to play wot
I thoroughly enjoy watching videos when you play the mediocre and really bad tanks. shows that one can actually do something in those tanks!
also, arty not using xvm? if he did, then that is why QB was target, I always take out best player in game first
So weird to me that the win rate on the E8 is so bad. It is one of my favourite tanks and I sit at 61% win rate with it with 1400 battles
The e8 is a lot of people's first tier 6 which would make sense. Also just useless in tier 8 matches
sub 20k battles and 55% + win ratio is not hard lol, they just started new account to boost stats
These videos are so much fun for me. Playing the best tanks by a very good player....outcome most of the times clear. But this is so much better and we see some tanks that we probably almost never see in replays. More of this pls. 👌
KV-1S was moved down to tier 5 in update 9.3 in September 2014, then it was moved up to tier 6 again in update 1.9 in April 2020, so it was sitting at tier 5 for almost 6 years.... Time flies so fast right?
It really flies when you remember the days when the KV1 and KV2 where one tank at tier 5.

And that's why its win rate sucks.
This pure support tanks shows the biggest problem of the game in perfection: Match Making (aka Miss Matching).
I remember securing my first kill against an IS-3 in the M4A3E2 using the long gun...yes, I kept plinking him in the flat plate behind the gun on top of the turret.
I genuinely hated the Cromwell, it was too fast for my tastes, as well as the way it just didn't have 'good gunwork' for its speed. The Easy 8 was fuckin beautiful, and eventually that crew, in one of my favourite medium tanks at tier 6, to one of my few tier ten mediums in the Patton. Easy 8 had speed surprisingly good, could climb hills rather nice due to lower weight and decent engine, the vert stabs made it a perfect ridge warrior, or small hill usage, as well as blasting on the move! That 76 mm was also a wonderful tool, good ROF, decent pen, aim time as well as accuracy! With the lower pen in high tiers, meant that I was fun with being a support med, forcing myself to flank. I loved this tank, as you can tell, and never touched the jumbo. Hated the Cromwell, enjoyed the comet because it was just actually built better than the cromwell.
I loved it because I can play it like a light tank with a good gun. Yeah the gun handling is really bad, but doesn't stop me from loving it.
Cromwell really scales well on light tank drivers but if you're a td/heavy tank player, yeah you will hate the Cromwell.

Never thought the E8 was that low. I really enjoyed playing mine and had some pretty nutty games with it. It's a really good DPM machine for its tier
Nashorn was absolutely amazing tank to play at tier VI, the gun on that tank was really good especially with that dpm

If you want a Sherman, just get the Jumbo
When I started with the Sherman series you had the option of going further up with the easy 8 or the jumbo. I opted for the Jumbo and therefore never drove the easy 8. I used to drive the T40 a lot back then and loved it. I also really enjoyed driving the archer. What challenges do you have if you only ever drive the OP tanks on the respective tiers, such as the T67 or the Hetzer.
I think at tier 6 saying people use wrong equiptment etc isn't as relevant. Most people are probably playing a lot of stock games, without 3 equipment, and with low skill or low percent crew (before 1.24.1 now we're in the fUtUrE). Field mods pretty much completely unused as most people would just move up to next tier and not unlock them unless they really like tank and are experienced.
I think the Nashorn is a wonderful tank. How are people playing so poorly in it?
Most likely playing it like a base bush whacker, instead of an opportunist TD there follows behind the pack and has an impact on the game.
In my experience most bad win rates comes from players being too passive.
I remember when this used to face tier 9 when gold rounds actually cost it real money... As the average player just gotten that bad?

@@jeremyshiu You do realize that no amount of power creep outright mitigates the fact tier 9's have more armor than tier 8's. That most of the viable tanks had really good armor because of the lack of gold rounds in the game at that time. Also inb4 many of these autoloaders with high alpha have paper armor and long reloads that half a competent e8 could easily exploit for damage from a flanking position.
I totally agree with you on the HE changes. That update changed things for me, certain vehicles I loved to play suddenly wasn't fun at all. And it was a good counter for some tanks aswell
@@KawaiianArgument I totally understand, and actually kind of agree with that, but they should've changed certain vehicles along with the HE changes. I mean, it does create a bigger skill gap - which makes the game better so I guess there's both pros and cons

Funny. I basically only play the easy eight now because it is my favorite tank. I have no problems doing well in it but I also have max everything basically. nearly 5 skill crew, cola, and bond equipment. ~30% camo when stationary and 509 view range so I basically play it like a light tank. It could really use a speed buff though.
Man, the tier 5 version of the KV-1S with the 122 mm howitzer was a beast. I had my record of 11 kills with it. 150 mm of HEAT penetration with 370 alpha damage was so broken, considering this was before the low tier HP buff.

would love to see more of this. maybe focusing on the pain points of a certain tech tree and how to play them to get through them
15:04 Yes, the KV-1S was T5. It was the start of the IS-7 line. The annoying thing though was that you had to go through the KV-1 to get it. So you played a T5 tank just to unlock another T5 tank. I don't think it required a whole lot of xp though and I think the KV-85 after it was pretty cheap in terms of xp too.
And the T5 has the better turred armor. I really hate the KV-1S.

Loved the E2 version of the Sherman back in the day but the change to allow gold ammo to be bought with credits killed it for me. Actually being able to use armor is nice..now enemies just spam the 2 key
This video just shows that how crappy this game is now, new tanks require less skill to play, I miss the days when the differences of almost every tank of every tier was more balanced

i know this is 2 years old but i am so mad to see this {LOL} ! i have 3 marks on my easy 8 and its literally my favorite and most played tank across 10 years. the secret to my success? is actually using THE 105 mmm howitzer. i learned to master shell placement on even tier 8 heavies {aiming between turret and body would almost always provide about 150 to 180 on avg chip damge and its incredible agility with amazing gun depression and my skilled crew means i can pop shots of he at heavies and tds all day a whittle them down regardless of tier. if i come across light tanks arty or the flanks of weaker side armor i wouldnt hesitate to load the heat shells and enjoy the almost 400 alpha damage. i f ing LOVE LOVE LOVE this tank and my results speak for themsevles! EASY 8 TANK REQUIRES ACTUAL SKILL and if your skilled it can shine brighter then most others! also the 76mm was fun to switch to from time to time and if you use rammer crew vents and well trained crew i got my reload time down to 2.5 secs and i could shred tanks when playing to support my heavies . no one paid much attention to my poor little easy 8 and i would make them pay dearly....usually with the 105 and about 40% time i would swap to 76 and BOTH guns with a good player are VERY VIABLE! your first game demonstrated that fact perfectly QB!
380 viewrange on VK28.01 is actually second highest light tank viewrange between all tier 6 lights(same as T21 and Super Chaffee, only Type 64 has 390).
What really holds this tank back is low dpm and low apcr pen. 132 base pen is actually decent for tier 6 light, but 158 apcr pen is really low considering you are facing tier 8s. Not much improvement for the price. Should be at least 10 more, always wondering if its not typo.
Otherwise, its my favorite tank for reasons. Doesnt shine in anything, but isnt terrible in anything either. You can spot, you can brawl, you can ram(pretty heavy for light).

um... EXCUSE ME, but the E8 is NOT one of the 'worst tier 6 tanks' in the game and i dont give a rats ass what everyones precious 'statistics' says (especially the god...damn... fucking 'win rate' that everyones so obsessed about, thats not the ONLY statistic that matters people. if youre going to look at statistics, look at ALL of the details dont just tunnel vision on one number. especially in a game that requires relying on 14 other players to be competent to win...) because most people who play suck and dont even know how to play the game properly. let alone a tank that requires more brain power than YOLOing in like you can with the majority of these "best tanks" that people either spam gold rounds with or hide behind impervious armor or both.
No no.. the E8 for its tier is an absolute BOSS when played right. you just cant play stupid with it. super high alpha and armor isnt everything that makes a tank. The E8 has good rapid fire reload, good speed for its tier, VERY good agility as you can literally drive circles around most tanks at or above it tier (no seriously, i challenge you to find other tanks that can turn faster than this thing as it makes even the tier 10 US med feel cumbersome), and best of all, it has an INSANE gun depression - 12 degress of "FUCK YOU IM THE BOSS OF THIS HILL" levels of gun depression. if you play this thing right, at tanks of its tier you can very aggressively outright BULLY other tanks.
Now, i know that it struggles against tier 8s or any tank with really good armor but thats not a fair argument to make as most tanks are not going to perform well against tanks 2 tiers above them with exception to those that are straight up inbalanced. but again, thats not a fair or proper argument. As a player who has played literally THOUSANDS of battles in this tank ALONE (and still is after over 10 years playing this game is still my most played tank), for ITS TIER, the E8 is an excellent tank and one of the best of its tier i would strongly argue and that is a hill i will die on. honestly, even against tier 8s if you play your stuff right you can even give them some serious hell with this little tommy cooker.
it annoyed me so much hearing him complain about "oh man im taking soo much damage...", no youre not you pansy. relax. The life of a E8 tanker is accepting youre going to take some hits. SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP ive had several games where i made it out alive with only 10 health with this thing more than any other tank. it dont matter as long as you make it in the end rip people up while doing so thats all that matters.
Anyone can disagree all they like. But I'd strongly advice that in your future battles you dont underestimate this little guy as those who do quickly find themselves turning into a smoking wreck.
I have not played in a few years but the M4A3E8 was one of my better Win rates and favorite tanks I played after ~17,000 (~1200 in the E8) battles before I quite. My overall win rate is 52.64% and yet in the E8 I was 53.76%. A decent player but not great, Maybe things have change since I was driving the E8
armor is a bad joke until you hit t8, you basically just auto aim everything not a heavy in a t6 game also excelsior op. When I first started playing WoT, it was incredibly annoying trying to rank up my Kv-3 because 175 pen would often bounce off t8 heavy tanks side on, or that pesky t29 front/lower plate apparently it didn't matter I tried shooting them in the front many a time I think I penned once ever. Also The difference in armor and HP values from t7-t8 was monstrous the new hp updates helped a bit I think. it felt really good to finally have a t8 where you could competently penetrate a t10's side armor with standard rounds. t7 is pretty much the worst tier for tier in pretty much all regards. Unless your top teir then your just a god still somehow lol.
The E8 and KV-1S are the only vehicles from these that I've used, so can't really comment on the others. As for the 2, the E8 honestly didn't feel that bad when I went through it, even tho I didn't know much about the game back then. Even stock it isn't awful since you get the first 76mm, 105mm guns, radio and second engine from the previous tank. But the KV-1S I definitely understand being one of the worst tanks at tier 6. It feels like more of a sidegrade to the KV-1 rather than a whole tier higher. The top gun doesn't really feel much different from the 85mm in the previous tank. It's faster, but in turn has worse armor (and not even just tier for tier, but just straight up downgrade). And the worst thing about it is that you get pretty much nothing from the previous tank when it comes to modules (only the two radios). So you have to struggle with the 76mm gun that felt inadequate at tier 5 already. With a slight rebalance of its HP and the guns it could honestly be passed as a side option for the KV-1 at tier 5, instead of its successor.
It's a travesty that the E8 has the worst WR. If people can't play that tank well enough surely they struggle more in the Cromwell? Both are great tanks but they are thinly armoured so I can understand why some newer players might struggle, but at least the E8 has a troll turret that can bounce shots. Not only that, but when there are tanks like the Chi-To with its poor accuracy, or the Sherman Firefly that doesn't have the speed or DPM of the E8, or the armour of the Sherman Jumbo, its baffling that the E8 has the lowest WR.
Its easily my favourite tier 6 medium. Reload down to about 2 seconds with a good crew and equipment. If you are playing it right the pen isn't an issue because you're shooting side armour, and the gold ammo gets you through the sides of tougher tier 8 heavy tanks.

The M4A3E8 is a fun tank and I enjoy it, but I did not enjoy 3 marking it. My advice for 3 marking it is to run the 105mm with a good balance of HEAT and HE. Intuition is good to have as a crew skill to allow you to switch shells faster. Knowing when to use what ammo is also important. The 105mm has a very short reload so at tier 8, you can try to use HE to track higher tier heavies and get damage assistance.
Man it hurts me to see how bad the Easy 8 an Jumbo Shermans have become. When the US Medium line came out, me and my friend used to platoon 2x Sherman Easy 8s together and just rush. We almost always died very fast, but it was common to take down 2 or 3 people directly, and support fire from team mates would often knock out 2 or 3 more in the first 2 minutes of the game. Got a LOT of easy, profitable wins that way back in CBT and the initial release of the game.
Every tank has its characteristics different. Most players just can't adapt to it or don't want to. That's why i quit playing in clans. The only play the popular tanks, but if I was playing with a different tank, they first shouted at me and then in the results most of them where behind me. Tanks shown today are just not easy to use. And E8 is most fun to play with derp gun, it has the armor. Please keep the Series up, very nice format!!!
I own EXACTLY the nashorn and IKV. They are not thaaat bad as long as the enemy ignores you. Best played from a bush when the enemy is busy with the moving "blob" of your allies. Decent DPM, abysmal amor and pretty bad camo rating for a TD
Nashorn is one of my favorite vehicles in the game: great gun, high pen, fast rate of fire, and not too slow.
Seal clubbers like you, spamming gold rounds at Tier VI, is one big reason not to nerf the M44. Unicums should never use the term "balance" when talking about nerfing arty, HE, and derp wagons. It's so hypocritical.
Tier 6 is a nightmare beacouse in every match are 3 M44's, Hummels or that Lefe at tier 5 not beacouse tanks are shit. With the exception of arty tier 6 is one of the most balanced tier for tier in the game. Easy 8 is actually decent but only hull down, KV1-S is fun with 122 mm and the VK is meh.
I feel like the e8 isn't that bad of a tank. The win ratio is mostly brought down by players like me who aren't used to it. Towards the end of my play with the vehicle, it's good for ambush attacks where your enemies aren't paying attention to you. Especially with camo net and gun rammer. It was fun as their maneuverability was a good send with reload quick enough to track lock some poor sap.
You say "worst," I say classic. It is a sad commentary on the power-creep in the game. Perhaps that's why we haven't seen hide nor hair of Crew 2.0; it would piss off too many players that WoT can't currently afford to lose since its geopolitical world went pear-shaped.
What I have learned from this Video (thx QB):
- the tanks can work in equal tier (FIX THIS WG)
- bad tanks are not so bad with epic player (FIX THIS GAMERS)
How many skills on your crew? I saw that you have it kitted out nicely with cola, plenty of gold rounds, and sixth sense. Not sure the replay is a true glimpse of what a normal player without all of that can expect from the Easy 8. I sense they will be very disappointed and wonder why their Easy 8 didn't perform as well as QB's.
How were you sweating when you were actually playing a seal clubber? No pressure, tier 6 I'd rather keep the tempo than hide. Win rate means nothing when those losers play most of their battles in 5 or 6 with op stealthy or high dpm tanks.
And so. Scared of tier 7 you'd spam gold in low tier than show you're worth a damn shooting standard. Disappointing QB so disappointed in you
I for some reason didn't feel like E8 was bad, I have pretty good winrate in it (around 55% or 58%) while I mostly used it to grind to T20. I didn't know it had bad penetration.
Maybe I just didn't play it for so long I don't remember it being bad
I''m actually surprised that an E8 has such a love win rate. One of my favorite tanks in this game is a Thunderbolt which is really strong tank. E8 is a similar tank, but not worse. It has its own strengths. It is faster. It has a lot more gun depression for working ridges. It is a lot more flexible than Thunderbolt is which is sometimes held back by its poor mobility.
The issues I've had with the Nashorn and the St Emil is the gun. If you so much as hit a rock the gun breaks.
Easy Eight worst? I think it was actually considered one of the better tanks back when I play WoT. I don't even remember when that was anymore. I think I quit like one year after the T34 was made into a premium tank. So quite a while ago.
