I really appreciate the time and effort that went into this video! ❤️ I'm so glad I watched this before purchasing my camera because I would've gone for the G7X without knowing it didn't have all the features I was looking for. As someone looking to get into vlogging with no knowledge on cameras, I felt very intimidated when other videos threw a whole bunch of features at me without explaining what they were. But you were so lovely, didn't brush over any of the facts and yet somehow kept everything short, sweet, and concise!

You've explained so well! I really wanted a g7x but now I'm planning for m 50 just because of the external microphone issue. I wish it g7x mark 2 had an external microphone unit since it was easier to carry anywhere.

This video was sooo helpful. I knew nothing about lens and cameras I just wanted a camera for makeup videos and im definitely going with the m50. I thought interchangeable lens wasn't important to me but you explained the mm so well.

This video is so concise. Thank you! I've been having a bit of a hard time understanding the specs on these cameras especially the explanation of the different lens sizes. You cleared a lot of things up for me. I've recently purchased the Canon M50 and the canon SX740 (for zooming purposes). but I also want to get the Canon G7 Mk 2, as well as the Sony rx100 vii. I'm about to start a camera collection. This is a new hobby of mines so don't mind me. LoL.
Quick question! Can you recommend a lens for the M50 for zooming capability? I need a lens with a spectacular zoom range. Please. Thank you again. & keep making more of these types of videos about cameras, lenses, accessories, and so forth.
Thank you so much for this. I'm trying to upgrade from my canon t7 which doesn't have a flip screen and I need that for youtube videos but also need to take nice pictures for my brand. This helped a lot! I was ready to purchase a g7x mark II or III but now the m50 seems right for me.

Hi, I have to tell you that this is one of the best videos that I have watched where you explain things in such a manner that a novice can understand. I really appreciated you comparing these two cameras. I have the G7X Mark II and wanted to upgrade but I just find a DSLR too confusing and I'm not interested in learning how to work one. Do you think that a complete novice would be able to go from the G7X to the M50 without a lot of difficulty? Do they both have the same "menu"? Thank you! I had the T3i before but ended up selling it. It was too bulky, too advanced, and pre- auto focus.
I’m tempted to buy the M50, but I’m still really torn. If it wasn’t for the external mic ordeal I would certainly go with the G7X.
