This game is so beautiful, truly a masterpiece. As a child it was was extremely exciting playing it, as if you were inside the game. Such simple times man, miss every second of it and this game relives it. It’s stronger than every nostalgic feeling!
Me and my mother was extremely poor growing up, my dad was a piece of shit and took way better care of his girlfriend and her kids at that time. He did always cover Christmas for me though was like his “hey I’ll do some dad shit for the year” card but anyway this game is a big favorite of mine because I remember this was the one Christmas gift my mom really ever got me. She was way to broke with bills to get anything else ever and Christmas was always like a break for her. I love this game and how it was given from her makes it even more special
Duuuude, I played this game so many times on my PS2, this and Going Commando were my world back then, I passed it like 30 times and mastered all weapons and stuff, it hits me hard on nostalgic, always forever be one my favorite games ever
30:09 ah yes, the infamous demo level. I remember playing through this 100 times before I eventually was given the game. Didn’t even know their were two before this at the time. My mom was gracious enough to get me all 3. Truly my favorite series from my childhood. Unbelievable replay value. Gonna have to dig up those old bins, dust off that PS2, plug in that old memory card, and see if I can continue where I left off! Thanks for the upload. All Hail The Rift Ripper!
This was literally my life as a kid. I’d say this the game that introduced me to game’s . Was and still is fucken elite . Too bad my disk is scratched and gets stuck on the Ship flying through space loading screen :(. Feels bad man
Oh boy, as a person from Finland, I couldn't speak English at all as a child. Now I realize how many puns and other funny things this game had that I missed completely, and STILL these games and the feeling of playing them was literally top-tier. No other game has gotten me the same feeling as I got from this when I played it for my first times❤️ Everything was better back then
i dare to say that this is definitely one of the best games ever made, it having multiplayer is just a chefs kiss, had so much fun in this with brothers and friends.
Maan.. this brings back sooo many childhood memories with siblings and friends!! I used to play the 1vs1 gamemode where you had to take over bases and take controll over the map.
This was the first game I ever played on the ps2 my dad and I used to grind this game I remember going on the computer to look up cheats and stuff haha good old memories
6:04:15 The way that Ratchet's ship leaves the Phoenix and spins straight up, you'll never unsee that, Did you notice? i spotted it when i first played it in 04 i was 11, good times.
I played this so many times as a kid/young teen. I had all the weapons completely maxed in the new game+, and I would dominate playing people online (yes this was one of the ps2 games that had online, played a lot of battlefront 2 online as well). I wish Rift Apart had the inferno mode, and the X2 boxes. I want another R&C game that makes you feel like you’re in a war fighting on a battlefield like this game has.
@@user-ig3vf9mw7p Haha, I played the game and completed it some 10 times. The first time I saw these gigantic beasts, my heart throbbed through my mouth. Well, after playing for 5-6 times, I hunted them long before they even came out of the water. I had insane skills with them guns. Oh, and I completely forgot the satisfaction it gave me to kill those one-eyed little monsters with one hyperstrike of the saber.
Its always a dream coming through when i find my childhood games i didn't know what the name of again How i remember every little detail is always a fun suprise to me and now that i can actually understand what they say this game became ten times better to me
holy hell, the nostalgia is real, i grew up on this game and to think i cant play it anymore becuz i have a xbox now really is disappointing, but its still great to be able to watch it here... oh, FYI, there was a titanium bolt under the bridge skid hacked
can't believe my siblings and I beat this game while only being 8 years old or so. I still have this game and play it sometimes but its good to sit back and watch others play it.
You can really feel the bromance between Ratchet and Clank. It's one thing that Jak and Daxter couldn't really capture, though those games are definitely better at worldbuilding and creating an environment you can get lost in.
The "one of nature's mysteries" bit freaked me out as a child but now knowing it was a reference to big foot picture and knowing quarks personality it's funny.
This, scooby doo unmasked, war of monsters, fairly odd parents: shadow showdown, Spongebob battles for bikini bottom, fantastic 4 rise of the silver surfer...so many amazing ps2 games that defined my childhood
I have this game on my playstation 2, but I may as well watch someone else play it since I've beaten the game so many time. By far one of my top ten favourite ever video games
So am I the only kid who never finished this game cause they just kept redoing the big car-driving battle on that one desert planet? I never got tired of that.
I was just playing this . I had accumulated about 70+ games for my ps2. Liked it so much I bought another 3 to make myself happy . Anyone got awesome stories to tell about their PS2 ?
6:23:05 lmfao I love how much adult humour is in this game, I missed so many of these jokes as a kid but now that I'm older it's even more hilarious thinking about it

It's to great to get adult jokes in the things we played as children. It makes us wonder how it went over our heads lol

Best game no cap. The first game is kinda mid because of no strafing.

Mid-2000s PS2 was the golden era of gaming.

Hard to believe these games are over 20 years old now. Some of my favorite gaming memories is playing these over Christmas break.
So many hours spent on the three original Ratchet and Clank games. I miss games like this.. 💖
What a vibe. Just got my head around pcsx2. Buzzing to play all my childhood favourites

I SO AGREE ITS BEST GAME
