Phenomenal. Pam is 67 and Lorrie is 65, showing the younger generation how it's done. Country queens. I love them both. they compliment each other perfectly ❤️
@@makelifematter1896 This song meant a lot to Randy, his family and the Band. It built the house they still live in, it went to #1 quickly and Randy wrote it about his wife.
True country music. I didn't know how much I missed it until now. It's time to pull out the old record player and cassette player and rock on the porch. These ladies can still sing.
One of my favorite songs is “ Maybe it was Memphis” by Pam. She and Lorrie both sound amazing.. they still have the old country sound!! Why can’t we still get it anymore???
I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen Alabama seven or eight times over the years, always amazing, and Pam and Lorrie certainly did them justice here. It’s a shame that the supremely talented Jeff Cook couldn’t have seen this…..or maybe he did!!! RIP
It's so good to hear these two ladies again. I remember lying in a field when I was young with my first love listening to this song. I miss this type of country music.😂
So Blessed to have grown up listening to the BEST got to see Alabama in Fresno Convention Center how many decades ago they were fantastic back then and of course always will be makes me cry also, kindness and true Country Artist ❤❤❤❤
My favorite down to earth band. They are from north east Alabama, i am from north West Alabama. BETTER KNOWN AS Muscle Shoals. Yes, they recorded there. Their bus broke down one night when my son was coming home. Knowing David, he stopped to help. They gave him CD's and etc. He called me and said, "Guess who I met?" He was so excited.
I saw Alabama in Spokane back in the mid-80s. Charlie Daniels opened for them. A few years ago, Pam Tillis performed flawlessly at the Clearwater River Casino & Resort. I took my gorgeous redheaded adult daughter with me as my radio date (I'm a radio journalist). Pam told my daughter, "If I had your hair I'd have ruled the world." I'd love to see Lorrie sing live.
Wow. This is a great performance right here. I just watched this CMT Giants featuring Alabama last night on TV and I have loved every minute of it. A lot of various country music artists have gotten together to pay a wonderful tribute to Alabama and this one night only CMT special itself was magical. A few selections of Alabama's number one hits were performed in this concert as well. I also enjoyed it when Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry made a fitting tribute video to Jeff Cook who had passed away a couple of years ago back in 2022 before this CMT special was made. It was very saddening that Jeff Cook was not able to be there but it was great to see Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry there at least. It also would have been wonderful if Mark Herndon was there as he was a big part of Alabama as their drummer from 1979 to 2004 but it is what it is. Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan did a fantastic job singing "Feels So Right" as this right here completely blew me away. In my honest opinion, I think that their singing voices have blended perfectly within this song as Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan sang this song together as a duet. Just like the description for this video says that this duet just feels so right. For a very long time now, Alabama has been one of my all time favorite country music band and I have some of their albums on CDs and so on. My dad first introduced me to them back when I was a kid and I immediately fell in love with their music ever since. I once covered this song called "Feels So Right" for my TH-cam channel a few years ago when I was just getting started with my TH-cam success. Otherwise, this CMT Giants show was so magical and it was fantastic to watch various country music artists paying tribute to Alabama by singing the band's songs and so on. Basically, even Randy Owen himself was a little bit soaked with tears when he heard Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan perform this song so beautifully. I have to say that this CMT Giants featuring Alabama was awesome and there are no more words to describe it. A wonderful special concert with lots of great performances. And that's that.
This was my favorite performance of the night. Pam and Lorrie are perfection together. Feels So Right 🎶❤ On a side note, I don't pretend to know the truth of what went down between Mark Herndon and the cousins, but it's wrong to erase him from everything to do with Alabama. He was a member of the group for 25 years, yet here on this stage, it's "he whose name shall not be mentioned." For his contribution to the group's success, I thank him.
Absolutely! For them to say he was never actually a member of the band is terrible. I lost all respect for them when they did that, and I used to love them. Only watched this for Pam and Lorrie. Those ladies are flawless.
@@amyk87 I have no use for them either after the shitty way they treated Mark. They didn't want him in the band right from the start, and according to Mark, they always let him know he wasn't welcome. Like you, I love their music, but as people, they are shady as hell.
@@MsJourneyfanThere are a lot of stories about what happened there. I guess only they know the truth about what really went down. I will always love these guys, but in my little minds thoughts, to say that Mark Hearndon was never really part of the band is BS. So they didn't use him in the studio. He was out there on the road with them for 25 years. Or more. And that is what creates those millions of record sales. IDK, but to me, that sounds like he was part of the band. He wasn't a real fancy or flashy drummer, but their music didn't need any of that. It would have ruined it. He just kept a good, solid , steady beat. That's all their music needed. If they didn't like him or his drumming for any reason, why didn't they replace him? They kept him for all those years for a reason. I think they should have put any differences asside for one night, and he should have been included. I think he sure deserved it.
This is a beautiful tribute to the group Alabama. I have seen them in July 2023. Ive seen and met Pam Tillis when she was on tour in Calgary Alberta Canada ❤ A wonderful concert. Great performance ❤
God, I miss these days of country music!
I agree! It’s just not as good as it used to be.
Those were the good ol day. Nothing like the story telling. Today's country is crap!
Me too!
I love country music from the 70's and 80's
Amen
Alabama had the best love songs, without a doubt. Great performance.
My favorite Alabama song and these two country giants in their own right just knocked it out of the park. What a performance!
These were the best days of country music. Pam and Lorrie were amazing! Watching Randy’s reaction touched my heart so deeply. Well done❤️⭐️
That was his 1st hit that catapulted them to stardom.
It great to see Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan again.
I miss these legends and this era so much❤❤❤❤
WOW!!! They did an AMAZING job with this song. Always been one of my favorite Alabama songs.

They did some touring together this past year. There's some videos on You Tube.
@@PK-bh1ww I'd love to see them
@@Mrrobotorocks they're still touring. Google them see if there's a concert near you.
If Patsy Cline was still alive, I think she would really be shocked at the state of country music
I agree
The tears in Randy's eyes say it all!!❤❤❤❤
So agree❤❤❤
Glad to see Lori with short hair and in a beautiful dress. You got it girl, show it!

She looks good too.
She’s by far my favorite female vocalist.
Their harmony is beautiful 🤩

Awesome. Alabama was a big influence on me. I’ve been playing guitar for 40 years. Lori and Pam did a great job ❤

Woo, almost had me in tears too. Yeah those days are gone but not forgotten.
I LOVE listening to these two sing together!
They sound great together. Nice to hear actual country too!
Lots of great performers to honor Alabama. Pam and Lori absolutely crushed it with their amazing version of "Feels so Right".
Pam still has the phenomenal voice!!!!
Yes she does I always liked her and felt she was underrated
Pam does still sound great but Loris lip injections are affecting her voice.
@@Michael-mt1zq I knew there was something very different...she was gorgeous, I don't know why she would do that to herself...
Wow!!! Both are so great, Pam is amazing!!! Sounds like her self exactly!
Love this...two elegant classy ladies!! Of course I have been a great fan of Lorrie's since the 90s and she is fantastic on this duet!!

I miss it too, the better days when people still cared about each other and not all this hate ♥️
Please bring back OLD COUNTRY!!!
