The absolute best country band ever! 50 years and still rockin and bringing crowds to their feet! You definitely have "the touch"! Love you Randy & Teddy ❤
@jimdent351 hmmm, you definitely brought up a extremely good point. I always have and always will love the Eagles. If you think about it, both bands ARE very similar. Yup, gotta place the Eagles right there with Alabama.
@@ronlefty I agree. Oddly my original comment is not visible. Both bands, however, have been around for about the same amount of time and have been very much loved by the same type of people. I'm a lifelong fan of both for well over 40 years now.
@jimdent351 me too bro. My sister, God rest her soul, got a kiss from Randy Owen after a concert and they were giving autographs. Think she was about 13 or 14 back then. She was so in love with him. She never forgot that.
They look and sound great. I miss seeing Jeff with them, but they are honoring him by playing on. Great men, great talent, great hearts, great band. Gotta love Alabama. God bless them.
The year : 1982 I was 5 years old. I had seizures as a child. They had me on some kind of medication that was liquid. So my dad mixed it with 7up or Ginger ale (still a favorite 💙) So every morning my dad played this song and I would chug the soda and meds during the fiddle part. Alabama was & and still are my all time favorite band of country music. I went to Myrtle Beach and went to the bar they started at a few years ago Randy still sounds amazing for his age. Teddy is still amazing as well. The young lady playing fiddle did a fine job too. Her name would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Thank you Alabama for providing me a lifetime of memories. Much love from Virginia. 💙
I know the feeling. It also makes me sad seeing many of my favorite artists from the 80s and 90s getting older. Even worse is I don't see anyone currently that can fill their shoes, at least not on the mainstream side of country. Zach Top is the only one that comes close, but I'm not sure if he's considered mainstream.
This is just badass to see these legends jamming on stage. Listened to them my whole childhood, sucks seeing all the legends get old. Thank God I was here for this.
I believe Randy Owens is also sick, if I remember correctly I read somewhere he's has MS, possibly I heard it from a friend of mine that went to school with Randy and is friends with his family, I don't recall seeing or hearing any kind of statement from his publicist, so I'm not 100 % positive of his type of illness
If y’all don’t shut your negativity up about Randy Owen, y’all are gonna see an Alabama asswhooping like you ain’t ever seen. Fans pray for them and the Lord loves them.
Ive seen Alabama in concert many times since i was 17 years old im 60 now my husband took me every time. Jeff Cook was always so nice stay talk to the people. Imet Randy these guys are the best. We Love you Alabama you still got.
Alabama has been my favorite country music artists since the 80's my favorites are Dixie land delight, Lady down on Love, always thought Randy Owens was so handsome 💕
This performance just proves that Mountain Music is their signature song for them to do it themselves and instead of it being covered, same when they did their cover album, nobody covered this. I know it wasn’t long after Brad did Old Alabama but still.
One of county's greatest groups ever . Thanks for the years of June Jams where I've been able to witness alot of country's best music and fans ! Roll On !
My first car had a tape deck in it. The cassette wouldn’t ever eject, but it would play both sides of the tape. There was a tape stuck in there. It was Alabama.
You betcha, 100%!! We are there too, in row 2 in front of Teddy. As soon as the show ended, Randy’s wife Kelly came over as she said she could tell I was totally into it (truth!🤣). Saw them at the saddledome for the first time August 23, 1984, and haven’t looked back.✌️
Been listening to this song for years..fell in love first time hearing it because my daddy drove then my kids and now my grandkids because my husband is OTR ❤❤❤ all you drivers stay safe❤
Years ago when this song was just coming out on the radio I told my co-workers, "This group is going to be headed to the top and is going to be country superstars..." AND they won the Pinnicle Award in 2023 to prove that I was right...
Always loved Alabama, even for all of us out West. The greatest ever never fades away and never dies. God Bless this entire Band. It will always live on and compete with all generations. Sadly it didn't look like Randy Owen was playing his guitar if you watch closely. RIP Jeff Cook.
Alabama is going to be at Missouri State Fair on August 17th. I have my tickets. I saw them back in the early 80's. They all autographed my Alabama tee shirt that I bought.
The band was was when they started and they are still great today, even though jeff is no longer with them he is still singing with the man upstairs Rest in peace jeff and thanks for singing for us again fellas
It’s been a rough week. I’m 47 and dealing with avascular necrosis of both femoral heads. It’s caused me some major issues in my lower legs with infections. I need to heal sores before they do bone surgery. The cause was just discovered. A form of leukemia that affects bone marrow, but only in hips and long bones. I’m suffering and it’s made me recognize my own mortality. My hero’s and my favorite musicians are all in the last parts of thier lives. So many memories. I can’t stop thinking about the old days and how wonderful I felt. It’s been rough. Thank you Alabama. Your music made life bearable in hard times.
Love Alabama ❤ my first concert seeing them was in the 80’s before they got “big” in Gatlinburg Tennessee, they were setting up their equipment……a year or so later they exploded 🎻🎸🎤💥💥💥💥💥💥
It's amazing how Alabama put The late great Jeff Cooks guitar in the area he was on stage as a tribute to Jeff Cook Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry sound like they did in the 80's and Alabama has always been a class act in country music and have other race of people listening to what great country music is. RIP Jeff Cook
I remember they got award after award every time a country award show was on t.v..Randy looked like a redkneck shit kicker back then , I remember they tried to can the drummer but he looked like he was in a real rock band.Jeff was the multi musician. RIP Jeff
I've been an Alabama fan since the late 1970's. The only music I ever bought was Alabama's music and the Eagles. I loved blasting Alabama on my 8 track tape in my 1966 Mustang. Go forward to 1987 or so, and I'm now going to dance clubs with buddies of mine. In my area there were no real country music clubs/bars at thar time. I remember being in the club I regularly attended one night and was listening the mindless pop/dance stuff and was focused more on dancing with the ladies than the music that was playing. Suddenly, the opening notes of Mountain Music hit my ears...I sang that song as loud as I could while folks around me thought I was absolutely nuts. I was back in my Mustang singing with Alabama. I tipped the DJ really well, and he made sure to play it for me every time I was there. I learned to like msny other bands over the years, but nothing beats an Alabama or an Eagles song.
had the opportunity to see them in Hershey PA and was one of the best prime country bands to ever do it!!!! a definite dream it was to see them in person
Alabama used to come to the Greenville Memorial Auditorium in Greenville SC every year when I was younger and I am pretty sure my mom and I went to see them each time. My Uncle Raymond knew the drummer - Mark Herndon - from college and we loved seeing him play each time. And my grandmother loved Mountain Music, it was her favorite. I wish I could have seen them play at the Bowery in Myrtle Beach, but I guess my memories from the early 80's will have to do.
The old days at June Jam in Fort Payne were the best memories thank you Randy Jeff and Teddy, those were some great times, the memories I will never forget.
one empty guitar in its stand, thats just beautiful, sad and so respectful all at the same time.
No matter what the new country can offer, it will never best these guys. They're true legends of country music.
Randy's voice never changed, my first concert was Alabama in 1997.
The absolute best country band ever! 50 years and still rockin and bringing crowds to their feet! You definitely have "the touch"! Love you Randy & Teddy ❤
Absolutely hands down the greatest country band of all time. There'll never be another who even comes close to Alabama.
Once in a lifetime group.
Turned people back on to country music.
@jimdent351 hmmm, you definitely brought up a extremely good point. I always have and always will love the Eagles. If you think about it, both bands ARE very similar. Yup, gotta place the Eagles right there with Alabama.

Thank you Alabama for the lifetime of Great Southern music and being fine stewards of our way of life.
God Bless The South!
They look and sound great. I miss seeing Jeff with them, but they are honoring him by playing on. Great men, great talent, great hearts, great band. Gotta love Alabama. God bless them.

Randy still sounds amazing for his age.
Teddy is still amazing as well.
The young lady playing fiddle did a fine job too. Her name would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Thank you Alabama for providing me a lifetime of memories.
Much love from Virginia. 💙
Thank God for real country! One of the catchiest songs ever written. Great job guys!
Hi Anneliese💐💐
They don't make them like this anymore.... Simply amazing!!!!
Bands 🎶

@jscountrygirl85_326 I haven't listened to country radio in probably 15 years bluegrass is where it's at today
Alabama was my first and only country concert in 1986 Nebraska county fair. Miss this very much. Thanks Alabama for the memories and great music
just time for them to ride off in the sunset, and enjoy life, they made their huge mark in country
One of my favorite country bands from the 80's.
They still got it after all these years.
This is just badass to see these legends jamming on stage. Listened to them my whole childhood, sucks seeing all the legends get old. Thank God I was here for this.
They can both sing. They all had great singing voices.
Damn Randy Owen is getting old! He still has a great voice! The greatest country group in history!
I hope not.

@@tammytrehan5021 I know he was battling vertigo for the last year or 2
He just recently recovered from prostate cancer

It will never, ever, get old hearing Alabama play Mountain Music.
I LOVE, LOVE LOVE ❤❤❤ ALABAMA!!! MY 1st show 40 yrs ago, and I ❤ my mama, God rest her soul, for taking me and enjoying music!!!!❤❤
I have always loved Alabama.
This performance just proves that Mountain Music is their signature song for them to do it themselves and instead of it being covered, same when they did their cover album, nobody covered this. I know it wasn’t long after Brad did Old Alabama but still.
Man, this takes me back and makes me so happy!
Wish the stage was just lit not special lights don't need it. Can just listen and watch them play. Love and respect Alabama
Best band in Country Music ever! Love them forever!!❤❤ ❤
Thank God for great country music. Saw this group perform in July 2023.
Look forward to seeing this CMT Giants video ❤❤❤
Love that they had one of Jeff’s guitars out on stage with the spotlight on it. 🥹
That was great that they did that for Jeff since he was with Alabama for all those years.
Everyone did a fantastic job - but not even close to the GOAT! Thank you for everything ALABAMA!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of county's greatest groups ever .
Thanks for the years of June Jams where I've been able to witness alot of country's best music and fans ! Roll On !

That is the most gentle stroke on guitar I have ever seen. Is it even making noise lol absolutely love Alabama
Dang he's still got it 🎉
Calgary Alberta Canada in July 2023. ❤❤❤
Absolutely amazing group.

Great music from one of the greatest country groups.🥰 RIP Jeff.
This is country music not the garbage today!
Real deal
The first CD I bought was Roll On by Alabama. I was hooked on country from then on. Keep it going guy's.
I never will forget the concert at Snow Valley in California I saw Alabama in the late 80s early 90s and got to be on stage with Alabama
Always loved Alabama, even for all of us out West. The greatest ever never fades away and never dies. God Bless this entire Band. It will always live on and compete with all generations.
Sadly it didn't look like Randy Owen was playing his guitar if you watch closely. RIP Jeff Cook.
How awesome that they willingly, even after all these years, to share the spotlights with that guitarist and violinist. Awesome.
Huh? It’s part of the song.
Meagan has been playing backup fiddle for Jeff long before he took sick. She joined them when they reunited in 2011
@ and they go together in 1969. My point is that even at a show that is dedicated to them, they are will to share the spot light.
Alabama is going to be at Missouri State Fair on August 17th. I have my tickets. I saw them back in the early 80's. They all autographed my Alabama tee shirt that I bought.
Dam I needed this tonight . I see my mom dancing in heaven to this. I miss her so much.
We saw them at the Western Washington Fair last week, with our daughters! What a great concert!!!!❤🎉
