A superlative song from the 1953 MGM movie of "Kiss me Kate", sung by Kathryn Grayson, and composed by the legendary Cole Porter. The movie itself is loosely based on the play, "The Taming of the Shrew" written by William Shakespeare.
The original soundtrack from the movie was also simultaneously released on a 12" Long Play Record, catalogue number MGM-C-753, and covered by various other artists at the time, including Jo Stafford.
