This is solid except you MUST drill out the small black orifice at the bottom so that the FPR can bleed off all the extra fuel quickly enough - otherwise you will experience overly high fuel pressure all the time.
Are you talking about the hole at the bottom of the basket thats covered with a solid black circle? You’re saying to drill out that black? I’m doing this install right now. Where did you hear this from?
@@performanceoverlooks NO not that. The tiny Venturi hole facing sideways that is part of the small black plastic piece on the bottom edge of the basket. It bleeds off fuel pressure from the fuel pressure regulator directly above it inside the basket housing. The hole is pin sized from factory but MUST be drilled out slightly to accommodate for the increase in flow so that it can bleed off pressure correctly. There are other install videos on TH-cam that show this extra step.
@@matthewsmid8505 yeah i finally found an install manual from cjm haha. Just did it all. Ended up doing a 3/32” hole. For anyone interested: host.cj-motorsports.com/pdf/370z%20Fuel%20Pump%20Tech.pdf
He forgot to drill out the Venturi orifice at the bottom...he removed the black piece that it's a part of but never drilled the hole out. This will cause major fuel overpressurization because the FPR can't bleed it off fast enough.
I don’t think a bigger wiring harness is necessary but it is necessary to drill out the venturi pump as well as the hole to keep the right fuel pressure
Is the CJM or CZP aftermarket fuel pump install kit necessary for this installation? And do you have to drill the orifice as others have said? -14’ q60s coupe
What can i do to fix my fuel reader it's not working and i changed my fuel pump already and it still says full if the car empty or half if its empty ? I need help
If u already changed the pump itself and then the float on the other side it’s ur BCU. It’s behind the clock(ik it sounds insane lmfsoooo but it fixed mine after wasting countless $$$$$$$ on parts I didn’t need)

@@matthewsmid8505I drilled the venturi pump(mine was gray) as well as the hole. My tuner said my fuel pressure was very good
@@matthewsmid8505I had asked my tuner about this and he said it’s only necessary if you have a 400 pump or higher
Did you just shove the green filter in the housing ?
so drilling bigger holes and wiring in a bigger wiring harness to carry proper voltage isnt needed?

sae j30r9 fuel hose is not submersible.
Which filter u use

just clean the sensor itself but the car is still gone have gauge issues i cleaned my sensor and it still iffy
there’s two sides, one has the pump and the other has the reader
i believe passenger side is pump and driver side is reader
