    Your OptiGrill looks ample enough for a restaurant. Is it easy to clean? The finished pork chop was succulent!

    Nice job Rick! I bought one & kick myself for not knowing about them sooner. I'm cooking impaired. More like the Rolls Royce of grills imho. It will even cook fish sticks! Smartest cooking device I have ever seen.

    You put 3 pieces and when you open after cooking you have only 2. That´s magic!

      3 pieces were on Manual mode, cooked 2 pieces were on Steak(?) mode :) Here where magic happened :D

    @DMANN007 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Looks like you had the grill on manual mode that's why the "M" was lit up and then you put your three meats on. After that you have two meats and before you opened the grill it shows it's not in manual mode anymore and the pork chop image is lit up. Did you reset the grill from manual mode?

      +DMANN1972 The grill wasn't working right for me and I edited out a pork chop by mistake. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.

      Mine will switch from preheat to manual at times. Still trying to figure out why. Maybe thats what happened to you. I have to take the food off and reset everything. Its annoying but that is the only fault i can find in the grill. Other than that its pretty awesome.

      +DMANN1972 Mine was going to manual as well. I returned it to Tefal and they fixed it and sent it back to me 2 days later. Common fault loads of people report thus. When sorted though it is a great product

      +Nigel Dyer did they say what's the problem and if its fixed in production?

  • @richardr5774

    How come you put three pork chops on in the pork program , THEN, the machine shows that it"s in " manual" mode just before you close it ! THEN, we see only 2 chops after cooking ! WHY ? Did you edit this video ? Answer, YES !

      Hi Richard, this was the first model of the optigrill they didn't work right lots of malfunctions, I took a chop off cause I thought I overloaded it. I bought a new model it was cheaper in price and works great. Thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate it my friend.

    Beautiful chops Rick, wow soft and juicy perfection on a plate! That meal looked spot-on delicious too. I like thta cooker, I bet it would make some nice hot pressed Cuban sandwiches, what do you think?

    You don't have to cook pork to well done. FDA has changed to saying pork can be ate safely at 165 degrees which is medium

    Seems like reliability is a common problem. Mother board can't take the heat. Nice looking, but who wants to be fighting electronic "features" ?

    Too bad people insist on cooking pork until it's " well done ". You have no idea how much flavour you lose and the longer pork is cooked ( to a well done stage ) the less tender it will be.

    Wow !! what a poor demonstration, first of all in this day and age pork does NOT have to be cooked well done. The T-Fal Optigrill is an excellent device and for the most part fool proof. It certainly appears that you are unfamiliar with this device so as to why you would upload a demo. when you don't know how to operate the grill is beyond me ( and others going by the comments ).
    Press the ON switch ,, then the PORK button ,, then the OK button ,,, then you wait until the grill beeps which indicates that it has reached the preheated stage.
