Fun solution for a stump in the wrong spot, and beautifully rockety! My understanding is that there's a difference between a rocket mass heater and a rocket stove. You've got a stove there, a mass heater has a flue passing through a big old mass of gravel or cob etc which heats gently and then slowly releases that heat into it's surroundings. Also a very cool thing. As usual, thank you for the videos!
I did some calculations based on the size of the stump, the species of tree, the dryness of the wood, and humidity in the air. My guess is it will burn until it stops! Lol,jk! Great video!
I have burnt some larger logs about this size in a way similar to this. And they took into the 25-30 hour range to fall apart. This one being a stump may last longer before coming apart.
Take a straight segment of a branch. Use a drill press to drill a hole through it, maybe from both ends. Take the paper off a couple crayons and stuff them down the hole. If you want to make it perfectly fill the hole, plug up one end and put it in a toaster oven on a very low heat. That will melt the crayons inside to make the completely fill in all gaps and adhere to the wood. Let it cool and then cut off a bit on the ends to make it look all neat and trim.
Hey Cody, you should email Benchmade for the three missing screws on the other side of your knife to fill the unused pocket clip holes. maybe check out the new deep carry pocket clip they released, its anodized black so it wont ever chip like the painted ones.

cody if you like the song one by metallica you may like the movie in which the song is about. the movie is called johnny got his gun. its about a young man named johnny (no duh) who goes to fight in ww1 and he is so damaged they have to amputate his arms and legs and they have to do a bunch of other work because he basically loses his jaw, face and ears. its really really sad, i don't want to spoil it too much but i think its a good movie and that you may like it
