The series is just incomplete! They need a sequel. Frank needs to recover and rejoin the group into the next mission: Saipan! They need a much faster game engine as the banzai charge of Saipan was basically Bloody Ridge x 1,000. After that is Okinawa. As the 2nd Marine Division was a floating reserve, I don't know what the writers would do. Would they put Conlin on an AA gun to shoot down kamikazes like the Pearl Harbor level? But adding in the scripted explosions of USS Bunker Hill nearby. Or just send him onto the island to assault Japanese bunkers.

First they were spread out everywhere across Pacific, then joined into 2nd Marine Raider Battalion for Makin, followed by 1st Marine Div on Guadalcanal, and finally 2nd Marine Div for Tarawa. Writers could just as much move them again, for example into 3rd/4th/5th for Iwo Jima, or hell, might as well make some Marines spec ops and support Army on Phillipines. Or simply go back to 1st for Peleliu and Okinawa, latter though would be laziest given CoD World At War already had both such campaigns.

The old games are best, just add modern graphics a slight change to campaign and you have a good game but no you gotta make CoD WW2; And CoD WW2 Is horrible the maps, all of it. Just trash though old games in my opinion are good mainly war ones because the narration,cutscenes, and gameplay is good but the graphics suck
