Mind blowing, I wish this world is real, I waited for this kind of game for years where we can actually explore, touch every part of the world without restrictions feeling immersive, lively paintings, random conversations, I can’t describe how good it is
@prakashpothineni7752 Totally my thoughts too, it's totally my universe, magic, exploration, nature, feelings of freedom. Just to explore and be in a magical world is enough for me, (even if i played the whole game), but i still love to go in exploration and just walk or just stand in a place, to enjoy the view, the ambiance. Nature appears much more authentic in this game for me, and the exploration is really wide. I feel so good when i play Hogwarts, and sometimes i just need my character on a path of a forest, and i have the feeling to be in the forest myself. Hogwarts legacy is MY game. I mean it's THE game that really fit to me.I don't play others games except sims or guild wars, because finally i just need a game with simple things, magic and nature. So i don't understand people that complain about everything. When we are too much in gaming, we expect too much, and we forget the essential values of simplicity.
Amazing game, castle looks like it has been there a thousand years, can feel the mass and scale, and everything fits. No discrepancy between interiors and exteriors
Amazing to explore. The castle itself is the main character. Feels like it's been there a thousand years. Everything is so huge and ngl at the start felt rediculous in scale. Roaming the interiors thinking it felt very "gamey" like the insides were just way to big to be realistic. Then you get outside the castle and realise the actual scale of the buildings and that everything really can and does fit inside the buildings. It's truly epic in scale.
This reshade is beautiful and it's how the game should've looked like in the first place. The game has gorgeous graphics that are being destroyed by that excess fog, mist, haze or whatever it is. Makes everything look washed out.
@@Charliestrife01 fog is an old trick in open world games to hide short load distances usually. A good example of it is Morrowind. Yes! There is a side quest with Garreth Weasley, he will ask you to bring something from Honeydukes, you will be informed about using the secret passageway from the statue of Gunhilda de Gorsemoore which will lead you to the cellar of Honeydukes.

Is this available on PS 4? And does it have all the core professors from the movies? I'd buy it just to see Professor Snape if it does tbh, he's my fav Harry Potter character.
@aisleelovegreenwood6448 yeah Ik. I found out when I looked it up on Wikipedia. Still, it looks interesting, particularly when I ran across a couple of compilation vids of Hogwarts students receiving Howlers from their parents over this or that misdeed when I was looking at YT one day. I have recently found out it is available for PS 4, and it was formatted for Nintendo Switch not long ago. Now the question is which platform to buy it on, since I have both consoles I mentioned. Idk which one is better quality-wise.
@joaniekeyser4036 Snape isn't in this game... it's before any of the professors you see in the movies and the games came along... early 1800s to late 1800s
I haven't seen any issues on pc. Runs great. Maybe lots of people are just putting everything on max and expecting it to run smoothly at 4k on weaker hardware. 1080p high settings on a low end $150 graphics card and it runs at around 90fps with no dips below around 80
@Dixie_rekd that's because this game is extremely ram and vram hungry and you need at least like 12gb vram and 32gb ram to run it smoothly, I have 32gb ram and it eat like 24 gb ram while playing and my 8gb vram 3070 ti couldn't even keep up even at medium setting 1440p, the fps is pretty good but the lack of vram cause a lot of stuttering, there is no reason for the game to use that much memory considering there are games with the same or even better graphics use way less memory
Use the Ascendio mod! It helps with texture loading a TON. Only issue is they tried to address it in the one update they’ve done, which directly conflicts with Ascendio. Ascendio was a much better solution to the problem so downgrading to the original version is a better move than using the up to date version of the game without Ascendio imo I’ve got a 2080 Super and the game runs smoothly with just that.
No, you can’t get into the Chamber of Secrets. The game alludes to its existence at one part pertaining to Salazar Slytherin but doesn’t explicitly call it that. You can go to the girls bathroom from the 2nd movie where the entrance to the Chamber is, though, and it looks identical to the movies. Super cool Easter egg.
