I was all the way up front against the rail, I was crushed. I'm sure glad they switched Korn to Friday and not Saturday. Can you imagine, LB, Rage, Korn and Metallica on the same night? Madness!
@@Puntzzpuntzz i remember it was of either korn or metallica playing and the quality was great, seemed like it could have been filmed in the early 2010s if it wasn't for the title
@@mike04574 From everything I've seen so far about Woodstock 99, this video of Korn in the crowd and the video I also shared with Korn are the only that exist on the net. There is another rare limp bizkit video out there in the crowd and the shooting ends on stage, it is published in the comments below. Peace :)
Hell, feels like yesterday when I was glued to the tv, watching it on HBO (I think it was, because MTV didn't showed all of Woodstock ) & waiting for Korn to go on stage. Wanted to be there so bad but couldn't go because 1. I was only a 13yo girl at the time & 2. had nobody to go with. I was also in NY that summer visiting. So frustrated I couldn't go, but after seeing how Woodstock turned out then I was glad I didn't. Good memories though, used to be a big korn kid back then =)
this is amazing. I can only imagine getting to the venue and being all pumped up. Then having to control it while waiting for Korn to come on. Then when they do, you can hear every one around you getting excited. In the video you can see those people just trying to contain themselves, waiting to go ape-shit. Then, you hear the line 'are you ready" and the place explodes. Absolutely amazing..
There were no 720p video cams in 1999. They were either 240 or 400 lines back then which equates to about 720x480 or 352x480 resolution when transferring to a DVD.
Sweet video, I was in the first 3 rows toward the middle left from where your video was shot. I remember the crowd gettin crazy Even before Blind started, n it only got crazier. What fond memories, thanx 4 postin this video. I was only 18 then, F'd up n havin the time of my young life!
I was around the same area I think?! I have watched the crowd wave video 1 million times and get the same body reaction I felt when I was there. I have never seen this video congrats on walking out of there with the camera. lol Lost my pix and tix over the years. So wicked excited that someone caught the best part of Woodstock on video form my view!!! Best memories of our generation by far!! Thanks for being somewhat responsible that weekend!!😂
I know you were super hyped up while filming. And I don't blame you. It's too bad we couldn't have gotten a shot of you standing still as everyone started to bounce. That would have been a sick look
I fucking love you man. This is beyond awesome, even tho I'm more of a LB & RATM fan. Also, jelly as fuck. If time machine ever gets invented I know where I'm gonna go first.
Before phones, there was one person with a VHS camera and you’d be lucky to have brought it in. I can’t say I was alive at the time where there were no cell phones but whatever. You get my point.
How did this increasingly rare infuckingsane UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE footage survive ****THE GREAT 2012 TWILIGHT ZONE TIME RIFT/TIME WARP**** into the increasing hell we now exist in today???!!!???… 🤷♂️
Yeah, everytime I watch the footage I always wonder what would've happened if I had the chance to go. Heh,it would've discouraged me from attending any concerts in the future! (not to mention to possible psychological trauma) It's such a shame...

There isn't a lot of crowd footage from Woodstock 99, well done!
