I really appreciate the detail with the lido mount. Am attempting mount a yaesu with the lido heavy mount and was not wanting to have to trim, cut or drill, but it seems there really isn't much choice in that. My truck is a 6 passenger so no center console (XL with STX), there is a bolt on the side of the hump that looks like it might work, but will still need a bit of trimming

I wonder why automotive manufacturers don't use Anderson Power Pole connectors in their own installations. It is BECAUSE THEY SUCK! They're not captive and they're troublesome. You should NEVER use them in a mobile install.
Overall, a great video. Would've liked a little more detail on that antenna mount and how you brought the antenna wire into the cab...

I just couldn't bring myself to hack out the trim on the seat bolt. I'll McGyver something else for that situation.
