I feel like David is taking a break from TH-cam to practice his beatboxing and he is going to blow us away with his first beatboxing showcase video when he comes back.
I would rather take no risk than get flagged. It happens all the time. Pewdiepie got copyright claimed recently for saying “here is our cover of a Madonna song” And then he proceeded to play absolute garbage that didn’t resemble the song at all. He repealed and *still* lost lol And it’s not about getting a strike for copyright infringement for using a cover of a song, it’s about losing all revenue from a video - which will happen 9/10 times on famous songs that are owned by record labels. All of my old covers were copyright claimed. They didn’t get me a strike but the labels take all the revenue from the video.
@@davidlarson3905 isnt that fair though? I mean you shouldnt lose a channel over it, but if you use others IP to generate revenue, aren't the original creators entitled to it? Originally a cover always had to he cleared with the IP owners anyway

I don't think they do Overdubbing, as you see they stand in specfic areas to maximise the sound, highs at back lows at the front, could be wrong though...Also Im fairly sure Feeling Good is a Nina Simone song right?
it was Nina simone first! Glad someone said it! Also i dont think its an overdub, but you can isolate the bass frequencies to compress, EQ, and Mono and then add them back in as if it were an overdub

How do you practice 2nd and 3rd subharmonics because I’ve been able to go from and E2 chest voice into a Eb1 subharmonic but don’t know where to go from here?
I think they might've done a thing like Rythmind did on his wildcard where he custom made an eq curve to boost certain sounds (see B-art's podcast, "Speak Up!", for Rythmind's explanation). That was they could still perform it live but make the bass seem fuller. I still love rythmind and beatness, though! Check out the tag team format, and see what you think of it btw! Rythmind and Beatness have the tag team Bery, and Gene and Chris Celiz have the tag team Spiderhorse, which actually won the ICCA Open by themselves two years ago!

4:16 the reason the lip roll was so easy to hear is because it's a pretty loud noise with an insane amount of bass when done properly. Also, you dont need a deep voice to do a bassy lip roll (he was also kinda close to the mic with the side he lip rolls with closer to the mic than anyone else). The kick is probably over dubbed tho.
I love the constant references to Avi Kaplan on this channel... but as a huge fan of acapella, I really want him to check out Tim Foust from Home Free as that'd be amazing to see. Anyone else? Love this channel though, I'm here to be a bass nerd :) x

@@daltonmekis Yeah the beatbox house is pretty good, but Berywam is still the gold standard when it comes to beatbox crews. there's a collab of hiss, wing, huckle, mighty and h-has that they did for a show called vocal play and it's pretty good, if you want to check more crew stuff. Although it was just a one time thing they did for the show and they're not a actual crew sadly.

Rythmind actually did a video responding to people saying he cheated on his kickback battle wildcard. Essentially, simple processing effects like reverb and EQ were allowed by the competition as long as it was one setting for the entire video. Rythmind was super creative and put his mic level so that if he did his kick without pushing a lot of air through it the level would be fine, but if he pushed his kicks the mic would clip, which allowed him to get a sound like it was processed differently when it wasn't. So it was 100% live with a constant mastering effects stack within the rules of the competition (confirmed by one of the judges who does all the mixing/mastering for swissbeatbox)
In the video he also shows what it sounds like with no effects and it's still really good tbh, less full of course but no cheating because certain types of audio processing were explicitly allowed in the wildcard competition rules.

I am a female was a Soprano 1 in choir but got out and graduated high school, I have my normal female voice but I can talk very deep than a males voice at times joking around I naturally can do the subharmonic singing no joke. If you have an email I can send you some audio or video of me doing it and give me your feed back or reaction to it. I scared my dad once over the phone once, surprised people in person like strangers that are weirdos around me to think I'm a male (it's my hidden defense) lol. I also been fascinated by Basso Profondos singers which are similar in my case. On TH-cam I found one black and white video of a female lady who can do the same like me. I can also sing male opera songs.
It sounds like it may be hyped a bit from some mixing after-the-fact, but it pretty much all checks out from what I can gather. Those jokers really are all that good, and they've chosen some extremely acoustic-friendly areas to record. Go check anything they've done live. Beatness really is that low and clean, and the rooms they're in amplify that. I bet these dudes would sound SUPER nuts in a cathedral. As for kicks, make sure to rewatch their mouths. A couple of those songs have sneaky kicks from both Rythmind AND Beatness. Add on top of that that Rythmind has a powerful hit on his inward kicks and that junk can start to seem a little fishy if you aren't watching for it. I also really think you're discounting just how good phone microphones are these days. Just two cents from a random dude on the internet. Cheers.
