Hi Stu-- glad you enjoyed yourself in Skeggy. It certainly brought back some memories for me of when I was there in 2014!......The Jolly Fisherman statue, The Seal Sanctuary, and that butterfly house! I remember it being sweltering in there🤪The B&B was definitely a good price too, and with a sea-facing room! I always think it is easier for a man to go away on his own rather than a woman doing it. I have done a couple of organised solo trips abroad(expensive!!) but as lovely as the people are, it still feels a bit lonely to me. But I'm glad you had such a great time👍👍

My good friend and I were in the US back about 12 years ago and we saw a sign for one of those Medieval faire's and I talked her into going! It was so entertaining!LOL we had a fabulous time and like you said it was free but we spent money freely while we were there and had loads of fun with the archery and looking around at the many vendors and talking to people. Great time.
I grew up visiting Skeggy,and Mablethorpe, took my children and now my grandsons. We have been to various countries around the world, but when I ask the family where they would like to go, they say Skeggy!😂
Well done, my friend! It must have been the 80s when I went to Skeggy, and then we were trying to keep tabs on the coach load of young people we had brought there for the day.

I loved this video so much, thank you. I can see myself doing the same sort of thing. In the U S., where I live, public transportation, to these sort of places is non-existent. Major money is spent just getting there, if you don't have a car. I envy you your public transportation.
Good for you that looked great. My son and I are coming to England and Scotland over the winter, it is cheapest then. We budget $100 a day for 2 so online with you. Always finds the deals wherever we go. The key is do your research and find all the Happy Hour, LOL

What a fab hol..I have done it cheaper last year..£ 29.00 for 4 nights in a Haven caravan ..and I spent about £ 10 to £ 15 pounds a day on essentials...my fave hotel is The Royal..if you book wisely you can secure a good deal.. Raff 55 is a big yes...

You can have cereal in your hotel room instead of buying breakfast and make your own tea coffee in your hotel room saves abiy
