I used 050 on its own it was grey but with a bit of a blue tint but it was noticeable in certain lighten. The color is actually bomb if anyone is looking for that color

It’ll fade to a white as long as you keep up with your purple shampoo so it doesn’t go beige or dull

Fyi 10 volume just deposits 20 vol lifts up to 2 levels and so on. Your aweaome keep rockin it
i have short natural salt a and a little pepper hair and want to have this girls color. Can I bleach with this product twice back to back then apply a purple toner get her color? It would be really porous so I thought if i washed the Wella toner T18 before it got really purple it would be good???
I'm so grateful for your video. I was introduced to a girl that does hair coloring and she had some pictures to show her work. So we set a date and time, and she worked on my hair and it was blue had some silver then it was all yellow., within two weeks. I follow your directions and I now have a smokey silver tone. To understand developer.
10 volume only deposits color, very minimal lift
20 will lift 2-3 levels
30 will lift 3-6 levels
40 Lifts 4 to 8 levels.
Do not put Lee wells 30 or 40 on your skin

I love using the 050 in with my platinum toner to get a light silver. I might try using it by itself at the roots like you did. Looks amazing! You look gorgeous with no makeup! :)

I used 050 with developer no toner, and it toned my bleach hair kept it in for 20 sec washed it out 💗
050 is a violet using t18 and a little bit of 050 makes a more silver less purple
But the blonde tint came back what do I do
@@theallbaughfamily7563 did you try a high quality rich purple shampoo? I use matrix and I find it deposits a lot of bluish purple to counter act yellows and oranges. I'm level 7/8 though. Maybe fanola?

My favorite purple shampoo is Blonde Brilliance in the Ash Shade (I have always bought it from Sally’s)
Im naturally light blonde and grey i use trulites bleach blue, and 20% any peroxide work for me. works, leave on 45 mins....BECAUSE I HAVE A SHORT PIXIE IT GOES WHITE I USE PURPLE SHAMPOO..
AND BEFORE DISCONTINUED WELLA TONA T18 AND T14 I ALSO GOT 050..SO NOW IM JUST USING PURPLE SHAMPOO
I mixed 050 and T18 to get the gray I wanted w 20 volume. Do your back first for better results

@@yomeravale I first bought this stuff from Amazon, but its out. I would try Walmart online. That's your best bet. If you want to get it in store, try Sally Beauty Supply. (If there's one in your area) Hope this helps🙂
T18 for whiter hair & t14 for gray/silver
Orange hair needs blue..yellow needs purple/ violet

Hey ! Thanks ! Yes you can I have done this but you’ll actually end up with very blue hair so I don’t recommend it if your trying to go for a light grey/white color and if you have any yellow in your hair it’ll actually turn a little green

I’ve been using this as toner and for some reason it’s always washing out of my hair I use the ion cool blonde purple shampoo
yeah same here the toner only lasts about a wash or 2 - I mainly use Fanola no yellow or no orange shampoo to tone my hair now

Hi well my trail run first time was a success with T14 and 050 now could I please have some matinance tips , is purple shampoo ok Im not a every day hair washer , can I use them again in a few weeks ect I love the colour its deep blue Grey so will lighten I do all my own hair plus cut nowdays as a pensioner and Hairdressers are too expensive now I dont work Thanks love your videos help me a lot ,

Yesss I do it all the time ! I only add developer towards the t18 tho don’t add extra for the 050 since it’s just an additive and don’t put tooo much you could end up with blue hair - a capful or 2 is good

How long should the wella 050 stay on the hair? Is it 20-30mins?
I like to leave it for up to 30 not later - 20 min is enough though ... keep checking after about 20 if you want to keep it in or remove

Hello, can i use 40 vol. Developer with Wella 050? About a month ago I used it with 20 vol. Developer and now the color has faded and looks like an ash color and my roots are dark. I just want to know if I can use it and what happens if I use the the 40 vol instead of the 20 vol.
I don’t recommend 40 in any situation .. it will damage your hair severely ... if the toner has faded I recommend purple shampoo or a silver hair dye can help tone down the ash and then it’ll turn grey - if you use toner again even w 20 it’ll turn ur dark roots golden/orange

Can I add the Wella 050 to a bleaching cap if I have already bleached it and toned it, but it still has a lot of yellow in it or should I wait and do it alone right after I bleach my hair?
I’m my opinion I would only use 050 after a bleaching w 20 vol developer it’ll come out pretty blue if left alone for too long - so make sure you check on it after just a few minutes if not mix it in with the toner all depending what color you’re trying to go for

Thank you ! Once this fades it usually ends up beige- if you want it to last using sparks starbright silver mixed w conditioner will give you the Smokey look and fade beautifully to a light grey silver

I used this toner just one time and my hair become blue. ?!?!?!?!!
Yes I mentioned that in a video - you can’t leave it in for long or it will turn blue

Wella 050 is an additive.So you are supposed to mix it with other toners like t18 for example.
So you recommend to use 050 and t18 with 20 developer

hi! if its a dark grey you'll have to try and lighten it first before the toner... you can try several thing, head and shoulders to fade it or a color remover or if you're due for a root bleaching then you can do a bleach wash for a few minutes and then tone
Will my hair get damaged if I used toner that’s been mixed for 2 days?
The toner left out even 30 min after making won’t be good anymore - so I def don’t recommend it - it won’t even do its job of toning correctly

I wouldn't recommend it - they can react against each other better to play it safe
how long does it last on your hair compared on semi permanent dye?
Since it’s not a dye at all it lasts maybe 2-3 washes at most - after it fades or right before I’ll dye it grey
so if my hair is gray in the front and dark brown in the back do i still use t18 toner and 050
If it’s dark brown - I wouldn’t put toner on it - it’ll turn the hair gold - if you want all around grey or white you’ll have to bleach the dark
