- This is exactly what I was hoping for and waiting for honestly! This is the right amount of intense rap and chorus with a crazy drop and beat but also with sweet and soft yet still hyper controlled powerful vocals and on top of that, trendy dance moves (probably fitting for TikTok lol). The last part of the end (bridge?) seriously is always the part that I look forward to the most since you know it’s happening you get even more excited for it and they never miss in my opinion. It gets me so excited and hyped because it creates this group energy that fills me with so much fire and energy! The communion at the end is always *chef’s kiss.
The MV, while it looks cool and it costed a lot from my understanding, I honestly would have rather seen more of the members than seen the scenes of just the cars driving in the night … like, I really don’t care about cars lol Though I understand using them in the MV since it matches the concept of going straight and fast towards the person you like. This MV isn’t really my favourite but again I guess it works with the concept.
The members looks great, Yoshi stands out A LOT with his hair hahah but I don’t mind, I think it’s about time people discover him too!
Overall, I’m super happy with this comeback, the song is definitely a TREASURE song and I feel like they've really found their identity and individuality here and it will only strengthen in the future!

The comeback is fire! So insaneeeeeeee!! I say this and I will say it again "2022 will be the year for YG FAMILY". Yoshi made a homage to Lisa's Rap on How You Like That. The fact Yoshi chose Lisa to show his rap skill eventho' she isn't the main rapper, it shows how he acknowledge Lisa as the best rapper, and love him how he respected Lisa. He added Lisa's Iconic how you like that rap verse. I love him even more, what a sweet boy. The line "Pedal to the Metal" was also lisa's iconic line, coming from the song see u later. Yoshi also said that the bridge where he was driving was the same area where lisa was riding a motorbike on LALISA MV. There isn't a yg artirsts where there's no party at the end. Proud YG STAN! Been a Stan for more than 5 years now. My yg heart😭✊🏻

I feel like YG music in general are not made to chart or even aim to break the mold, even though it naturally happens. It seems all their music are made for the fan interactions during concerts, tours and lives lol. The overall experience.

I completely understand what you mean when you say that treasure is a boygroup with their own colour but clearly with the vibe of YG. I really loved this comeback and I think it's their best title track as for now alongside "Boy". The vocals of the members really shine, they all get that moment to stand out. I also agree that hyunsuk, yoshi and haruto make one hell of a trio, they are incredibly talented rappers. The pre-chorus with the dynamic bewteen yedam, junkyu and jeongwoo is, as always, chef kiss, because these three have such beautiful and unique voices. The music video is stunning, although, I agree that the budget was mostly for the cars and I would have loved to see it invested ON the boys. I am still getting used to the chorus, not going to lie, it's my least favourite part of the song, but well, YG is YG when it comes to empty choruses, because it's still very good. Now, let's talk about all the references to YG artists, there are TWO parts of lisa's raps (see u later and hylt), also the choreo of bang bang bang by BIGBANG and that ending where they just party together as all yg artists do, but which specially remembers me of iKON for personal reasons. I hope this is IT, I hope this is the album that gives them the recognition they deserve. I am really happy!

I genuinely couldn't be any prouder of these boys. They've not only found their sound and aesthetic they feel suite them as a group but They've proved that they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.The song is so YG but screams TREASURE as well and i love that. Having debuted after years of it being postponed and losing fans I the process, losing a member, debuting amidst a horrible scandal and being called a flop (idk why), but They've just shown time and time again that they are only aiming upwards. And I'm happy to be there the entire journey

Can we appreciate Junghwan consistent on being an intro killer. The power he holds 😭 Plus Yoshi and Asahi’s stunning visuals and Jaehyuk ending it as a center. We can all die peacefully ya’ll. The whole MV is insane.

I agree with Coco that although the car scene was beautiful and perfectly represents the theme for this song and comeback, i would rather switch SOME of the car scenes with actual image/visual shots of the members or the choreo.
I don't need anything else from them. This is beyond my expectations. They just slayed and left no crumbs. I'm always amazed by their versatility. They're absolutely matchless kings of 4th generation !!!!!!

What I like about YG is they don't adjust an MV's storyline based on a certain budget, they adjust the budget based on the MV storyline... they prioritize quality more than anything.

This MV intentionally brought in several references from various YG groups, really for those who know YG it took all the references from the previous songs and how they are done with the thing called #YGSTYLE. New YG fans and other fandoms didn't know how much quality music YG produced. This Treasure JIKJIN is just a masterpiece where many phrases are titles of other songs and groups and the choreography and gestures. The bridge instrumental also represents bang3x's bigbang bridge and the singing in the last part is also like bang3x's singing and also the "pedal to metal" is from blackpink and Lisa, the way they moved their hand from top to bottom and the steps in "jikjiiin" part reminds me of iKON - Why Why Why move. Treasure is definitely letting YG rise and claiming 2022 as theirs. Bigbang, and the others will definitely come back... geeezzzzzz YG stan really freaking out. Now, it all looks very familiar. the dance steps at the party ending, i see the winner's dance for everyday, blackpink's where they walk in a circle like simply moving their hands close to their heads and the rest "coincidences" from the YGA. upcoming returns and surprises from the other YGAs for the coming months.
