- I can't believe I am alive to witness this legendary lineup, these powerful beautiful talented women all together on stage! I still am having a hard time believing that this has happened and I will have to get over that shock and surprise to then be able to fully appreciate the song, because yes it sounds good, it gave me chills and made me feel powerful but I feel like there is still so much room for it to grow on me!
I loved the depth of the song and the different layers of it, the richness of the vocals and the tiki taka between the members is mind blowing! The visuals are unreal and the synergy that exists here is beautiful to see, it didn't feel like they are competing against each other to out do one another, it really felt like amazons getting ready together to go battle someone! I loved it!

Dnt underestimate SM vocals coz even they just sweet vocal or lone tone register ; but if u let this girlies they could sing better than female idol there who were 7 yrs in Industry yet didn't even have confidence to sing live stage.

O I agree! Yes there are several amazing 4th gen groups! But if these ladies really put their minds together and spend extended time on a song just imagine what that would be like. This song was put together in I think a few days. They pretty much just threw it together in less than a week. But just imagine if they spent substantial time on a song. Just years of experience and talent they have does really make then above most other groups. Some of them were at the top before black pink or twice were even heard of. I'm sure if they really put their minds together and really took their time on a few songs they would smoke the competition out there. But in a way that really wouldn't be fair to many of the new groups because of the many years of experience they have.

This morning I looked at a line distribution and it is one of the most pleasing things to watch!! It’s sooooo fair it’s crazy!!!! I would LOVE to see them as an actual group like SUPERM!! I really hope SM invests more and more in them!

Wendy really evolved ever since she had a pelvic injury. Her stage presence, visuals, and dancing leveled up a lot. So proud of her.
i think she wanna make up from the time she was hiatus because her recovery. she said she feels bad she cannot do anything for the fans in 2020 so thats how like water happened. she wanna thanks her fans for waiting. also after recovery, rv members said she practiced a lot.

According to official plans from SM, Girls on Top is planned to be a rotational group, much like NCT U. Basically - using SuperM's concept (but for their female idols, obviously), but working with the structure of NCT. I honestly think this is a BRILLIANT move with SM, especially since with female idols, you avoid a major factor of contention that SuperM is currently going through: military enlistment. GOT the Beat was likely just the first unit, so the next could be literally another amalgamation of female SM idols, so now, just IMAGINE the possibilities SM have opened up for themselves.
My guess for the next GOT unit? Either a vocally-centric or dance-heavy one, since this was an all-encompassing debut (much like Jopping), their comeback is likely going to explore the extent of SM's many powerful women.
This is actually BRILLIANT. I'm honestly so impressed that I don't think I can put it in words. This is SUCH a smart move on SM. They literally just opened a floodgate of possibilities on what to do with this, what do I call it, breakthrough? Idk, it's just that this is such a genius idea that's it actually made me open my eyes wide, that's how smart this is. Great move SM, great move.
Also, as you said, we might get more units and that GOT is just the first one and I really look forward to what SM's gonna do and which members will be in which units doing what concept cause wow, I don't usually say this a lot but they actually set their expectations for the other members who are gonna join this unit quite high becuz of how well made and powerful GOT are with this lineup. Wondering what their concept would be and if they would change it for the members n stuff.
Is there no news of GOT the beat schedules? I mean it'll be a biggest mistake to not let them get promoted and at least have one more song properly.. and the rotation plan is a smart move also because sm has fewer female idols and all of them are busy with their individual and each group's schedule.. and it's too bad all fx members already left sm

Everything about this is amazing, Hyo had so much attitude Winter and Karina were glowing. Taeyeon and Wendy were slaying the vocals. Seulgi, Hyo slayed the dancing. And BoA she just had this all around talent to her in the group, charisma vocals and dancing. Also notice how clean and fluid BoA’s movements were.

Girls On Top (GOT) is like a combination of the concept just like NCT U. They won't be a fixed unit but instead a rotational one which means all female artists of SM at some point will become a GOT member.

honestly i checked the lyrics out (so idk if those where correct translations) but based on my understanding/interpretation of the lyrics they arnt as bad as people make them out to be.. its literally about some random woman trying to steal GOT's boyfriend.. and they are just angry at her, saying she will never have him cuz he's GOT's boyfriend.. if a boy group did this lyrics it would be fine.. but a girl group does and its a huge nono.. one reason i love artists like hwasa and jessi cuz they dont give a flying F what other thinks and will say/do whatever they want.. in my opinion these lyrics alone are kind of empowerment to women, that they can do and say whatever they want as its them saying it.
