I went inside that precariously hanging so-called shopping Plaza 4 months ago. Believe me, I prayed through out my shopping that I come out alive. The worst and most dangerous building I ever entered. Kudos to our able Governor Otti and of course Labour Party.

My only concern is that people inhaling and ingesting the cement dust. I hate demolition, if only there was a way to strengthen the building and remodel and refurbish it instead.

My take, is let the right thing be done.
The developers should make sure that the first hand shop owners should get their shop immediately after rebuilding and they should be fast in doing that.
However, three years is too much to rebuild that place. That project should not take anything 18-24 months.
First face of mile one mkt pH constructed under Gov. Amechi didn't take such long time.
Please, you guys should do fast.
    Good luck!
    Long live Ekeoha people
    Long live Abian's
    Long live Gov. Otti
    To God be the glory!!!
What doing, is what doing well!!!

The entire Abia state has become a construction site, this is good

Meanwhile, Nigeria is facing extreme lack of economic opportunities, resulting in lack of gainful employments, crimes, insecurity and chaos. And Tinubu and Governors turned the country into construction site! Infrastructures are vital, but the only thing that can rescue Nigeria from present economic crisis are Export industries that will generate FOREIGN EXCHANGE revenue for the country. Instead of creating wealth for the country, they are signing multi-million dollar construction contract projects with foreign entities to ship out scarce funds. And Nigerians are celebrating, without realizing that construction projects are the oldest fraudulent schemes the ruling class uses to ship our money abroad. Governors have been doing it for decades, and Tinubu is doing it now on a more massive scale.

Whenever you see an ngwa person speaks, he will always speak with frustration, bitterness, anger, envy , jealousy etc. He has started raising his voices without understanding what kepu kepu tv asked him. He wants Ekeoha demolished, possibly taken from the owners of the shops and possibly given to ngwa people free. That's usually their mindset . The useless ngwa criminal called okezie ikpeazu that led Aba into a moribund decomposing rotten cachetic marasmickwashiokored state during his tenure as the governor of Abia left Aba in dilapidated situation so that owners properties in aba will abandon their properties. Very selfish and imbecilic ex governor. If there are no business how would he raise IGR?

The question is, why is it that 99 percent of the Igbos want to be a trader just importing rubbish from China? Why can't they focused on manufacturing instead, which would help their IGR to grow?
