@@Mr_Edward_Nigma and also, some people don't realize that if this Joker came out later he would be well received, but back then the only "serious" Jokers we had were Jack Nicholson and Mark Hamill (Cesar Romero's Joker regained in popularity later, but that was the time period where we were kinda ashamed of him, because no one took superhero movies seriously, and the old campy Adam West Batman show didn't do us any favors in that regard; we were ready for Nolan's trilogy to bring some respect back), it wasn't like today where we have hundreds of Jokers and we can pick and choose our favorites... Between all the movies and shows (animated and live action) the Arkham video games, your new DC fan has a lot of choice to pick from. But in the early 2000s, Matsuda's new "The Batman" show was all we were getting, and all we would get for a long time. And as we saw with 2008's The Dark Knight, fans were ready for an edgy Joker, something that fans are sick of today. So when this new, long awaited Joker came out, looking like a monkey that did capoeira, it was disappointing for lots of kids. The Riddler from the same show had the same problem, nowadays he's a beloved figure and most people are lamenting the fact that he didn't get more episodes revolving around him, but when the show came out lots of us just thought "who is this Marilyn Manson fanboy and were is the Riddler?"
I used to disliked this version of Joker as a kid, because he looked different from the typical Joker, when I started watching the whole show, his look started to grow on me more.
To be honest, it was a bunch of 90's kids who were mad it wasn't Mark Hamill. No. Seriously. Look at when the show came out and you'll see what I mean. Same thing with the Batman voice actor in this show. It wasn't Kevin Conroy, so it automatically sucked. Of course, none of them are going to grow a pair and admit nostalgia to be the reason for all this.
I love this version of the joker, honestly he's my personal favourite, the fact he's so much fun to watch, he's much more acrobatic in his fighting style, and you can tell Kevin Michael Richardson was having so much fun in the role
What the Dracula movie they were not playing around they wanted you to not sleep at night. Also, what I really loved about Richardson's performance is the low growls where so menacing.
He's a fun joker to watch. Crazy but wants to play his game with batman when he saved him from the fake batman and robin duo Most forget him as he's compared to mark hamil joker but looking back this joker has a lot of cool scenes
oh this series, anyone remember ragdoll and his creepy doodad of a body contorting beyond human comprehension which was worse than the comics in how badly he contorted his body sometimes
Besides, Joker doing some absolutely wacky stuff fits him much more than robbing a bank. I think that what Joker should be: unpredictable, childish and chaotic a great challenge for Batman
@@ashesGeek that's what someone called joker should be. I mean I like the animated joker from btas but he's not a joker he's just an eccentric and insane monster type but not a joker. That's why the Adam West joker and the version in the Batman are my favorite.
Jared Leto's Joker gives me nightmares just thinking about him. The DCEU should be forgotten but it can't. Remembering it is like having a Vietnam flashback.
Honestly, this design is like The Joker with a jester-esque hair, animalistic abilities, red eyes and looks as though he's still in the circus. Now that I'm an adult, this version of The Joker looks high af. He seems to be the most insane and loony out of the other versions. But as Bruce Wayne from 'Return of The Joker' would say: "He's a psychopath. A monster". Overall, he's still awesome.
3:49 This costume like really makes him seem the insane person he actually is. This whole costume kind of mimicks a psych ward uniform and like a broken straitjacket, with him also being barefoot, just gives him like a more unhinged look.
Dude I'm really enjoying your videos on The Batman and also rewatching The Batman ( 2004) too 🤘🔥🦇🦇, also it would be awesome if you did a video on the movie The Batman Vs Dracula which is a movie based from The Batman (2004) series
The most underrated version of The Joker, I like the fact that he knows how to fight, he looks more like inhuman and that's makes him even more dangerous and scarier.
really nice joker more focused on the mad schemes and just enjoying himself and wasnt bad at all in fighting in his own chaotic way unlike the original joker which still is great couldnt fight much at all unless he got the drop on batman
I remember watching this Batman on Cartoon Network, sometimes I sneak in pass 9pm if I could, this joker back then gave me nightmares growing up, the amount of quality cartoons we had growing up is incredible
the villains in this batman were something else , and they knew how to throw hands with the bat too
I personally think his straightjacket look was his best look in this series also this is the best Joker in my opinion
One of the Best Jokers, and i do not understand why there are people who hate this version of the Joker.
I think it’s the appearance/outfit that gives mixed perceptions.

Referring to The Batman as an older show makes me feel so damn old
Same
I was born when it came out of that helps
What the Dracula movie they were not playing around they wanted you to not sleep at night. Also, what I really loved about Richardson's performance is the low growls where so menacing.
True the man has some of the most insane vocal range in the game
@@phenixnunlee372 cousin of ra oil ghoul, if series ever comes back!
They all said I was sick in the head. They said I needed help. Well, maybe I am a bit... batty! Blame it on the bats in my belfry! (maniacal laugh)

I usually refer to this Joker as an acrobatic circus clown
Gosh 2004 is goated especially the designs
oh this series, anyone remember ragdoll and his creepy doodad of a body contorting beyond human comprehension which was worse than the comics in how badly he contorted his body sometimes
Too me this joker feels like an actual joker and not a white faced mobster.

Yes that's my boy! That's the Joker I grew up with, I love him honestly one of my favorite adaptations
Obviously the Joker that gives me nightmares is easily Suicide squad
Bring this Batman back with two face!
Jared Leto's Joker gives me nightmares just thinking about him. The DCEU should be forgotten but it can't. Remembering it is like having a Vietnam flashback.
Best Batman series ever!
Ur gonna love this series man. Grown up with this show as a kid
Kevin Michael Richardson is an underrated Joker
Best for fighters among the jokers
Shout out the first and only black Joker XD
Man this whole series was fire and underrated. And got overshadowed with that brave and the bold mess.
I had nightmares about this version’s laughing gas
THIS IS THE GREATEST JOKER EVER HANDS DOWN
Oh shit you've discovered my alter ego lol

Is this guy golden what ifs
Weird nitpic, but I want Batman's ears to be longer. heh.

Have you seen 'The Batman vs. Dracula'? This Joker became even more of a nightmare fuel in that movie.
I remember watching this Batman on Cartoon Network, sometimes I sneak in pass 9pm if I could, this joker back then gave me nightmares growing up, the amount of quality cartoons we had growing up is incredible
This Joker was scariest when he got hold of some nanites. There was episode that came close to scaring me than that one.
He's giving Yami Marik energy
Honestly, when I watch this version of Joker I really wasn't terrified. To me he was way more goofy looking then scary.
This joker acrobatic fighting style put nightwing acrobatics to same
Dude stop saying its old this show isn't even old enough to drink yet😭😭
Yo cómic Casual please do What If Homelander was Teleported to DC Universe!
