David and the other writers did such an amazing job this season, I imagine they were a bit nervous knowing how much love the first one got and that it would be hard to top, but they really nailed it . I hope we do get a 3rd season to be able to see his whole vision on the Ed&Stede love story 💕
*Desperate* for news that they will renew for S03!!! The first season was gloriously mad-cap and then snuck in some genuine emotion along the way. S02 amped up the feelings ten-fold and made me love these characters even more than I thought was possible.
My absolute favorite show. Such a charming interview of a show with a sweet balance of pirate adventure and romcom. Loved both seasons and looking forward to season three.

Love this interview! The questions that were asked were so lovely, well-thought out, and mindful. Truly love when these OFMD interviews are actually led by true fans of the show. David always has amazing anwers, but I particularly appreciated when he made the point about pirate history being very whitewashed and straightwashed. Love that he's made the show so diverse and unapologetically queer!

Great interview. Loved the question on how the cast was dealing with not being to speak about the show. I can imagine that’s really tough. Hope they get to speak on it soon. Would be amazing if some of the footage he discussed could become a behind the scenes movie someday. Also loved David talking about appreciating the fan response/obsession. Really hope this gets a 3rd season.
season 2 was a lot different from season 1 but it was cool for sure, i hope people working on it know a lot of viewers love it, amazing job. it's awesome to be able to witness this show, nice on many levels
