So new to the world of DJ’ing here and this Numark was my first controller purchase. As for me it has been an AMAZING intro deck! Every day I’m learning something ew and as a dad I can simply take it to the park and watch my daughter play while learning new things. Can also place it on the kitchen table without adding any other wires or whatnot so as to not disturb my wife either lol. Personally I think this is a LOT better for someone who is serious about starting out than getting all the things needed separately. Thanks for the breakdown man!!! Much love!
great video. been djing for fun on virtual DJ and sometimes on pioneer CDJs for about 10+ years now and prime go was my first piece of kit that i've truly owned. one thing i was truly surprised by with the prime go was how well built it was. the construction really feels premium. again, great video!
Nice video - I have a huge setup at my house 4 Pioneer CDJs Pioneer DJ -V 10 mixer 2 pioneer DJs 1000’s 2 MPCX’s Synths ( 13 btw ) I come from the vinyl only era Etc etc …. However, I’m definitely investing in The mix pro go because, the mix pro go is perfect for the beach chilling out side It’s like having a boom box for ppl who like to DJ - on the go !
The Mixstream controls are so cramped, but Engine shines through, if you know how to set it up. Please make a Rane controller with Engine and Serato Pro support.
Hi I am considering buying the Denon Prime go, but not sure if it worth buying since it is about three years old, and concerned they will stop providing software updates. I will only be using for ceremonies. Should I buy the Numark Midstream pro go, what are your thoughts
they just updated the software 3.2 a few months ago with some seriously great updates (touch screen FX) and a ton of other new effects to their regular effects bank. i think they are serious about keeping it updated.
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets I was at a house party the other day and managed to DJ wirelessly using the Hercules DJ control mix to my phone via BT midi which output to JBL 300 via BT audio. I could mix music while play drinking card games with the mixer on my lap. There is a delay due to Bluetooth which you have to manage but sync isn’t much of an issue
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets I’m a part of the Rev Family. I have Rev 7, 5 and 1. If the jogwheels on the Denon were a lot bigger it would be a serious competitor but they are way too small to be taken serious at a gig. At least jogwheels as big as the Rev 1 and im ok with that. I had the Mixars Primo and while it was great I still needed bigger jogwheels and eventually upgraded shortly after.
Im about to start spinning in a minute. The first deck had away cleaner signal when its was pushed, dope! #spinningwinningandviolining #gear #gadgets #DJ #unboxing
You know the mix stream is cool but I could do without those speakers in the unit. Otherwise the vertical eq and bigger platters is a real winning design.
Who cares about the speakers lol. It’s a better unit over all. I own the prime go and a prime 4 and I’m selling the prime to get the mix stream. To replace because it’s just a better unit. Why would speakers mean a thing lol
Only Bluetooth Audio Input for output I would get Skaa pro devices like the "Dani & Streetheart" Assign to any individual hardware channel or main audio output. Bluetooth transport controls allow you to play, pause, and track skip using the touch screen or hardware controls when connected to a capable Bluetooth device. Bluetooth Track Information displays the Track Title, Artist and track progress during playback(on capable Bluetooth devices).
io da 1 mese circa possiedo la Numark Mixstream Pro+ e devo dire che sono rimasto sorpreso, lavora molto bene, soprattutto con i nuovi aggiornamenti è perfetta. E poi il prezzo è ottimo 629€
I feel the prime go is still built more sturdy and more compact than the mix stream pro. It really depends if you have use for the built in speakers on the mix stream. The mix stream is cheaper new however you might be able to find second hand prime Gos cheaper as well. I’m not sure on updates on Denons legacy products but they seem to be good with updates. You should be fine with either deck for wedding ceremonies though.
I will now look for a 2nd hand Dennon. At the moment I have a laptop running Ubuntu and I use Mixxx and I am in the process of building out a Raspberry Pi 5 running Ubuntu and Mixxx outputting to a 17 inch screen and mapped to a Hercules controller
Hey bro. Did you buy this already? I was looking into it since I also have a Mpc live 2 and all other samplers (maschine, sp404). I was thinking if you have tried integrating but I think theres no way since the mxstream has only the mic input.
@@vergellim7361 It's an amazing device. Slightly glitchy, but easy to learn and extremely fun to use with no computer ever needed. Due to lack of inputs (I suspect to sell you that in a later models smh), you would have to run this device through your sampler or another mixer to combine the two. A few other thoughts, I bought the Mixtream Pro + after watching this review because I didn't think I needed the battery. After 3 weeks, I returned it for the Pro Go and couldn't be happier. It's as revolutionary as the Live 2 for my needs due to the battery and speakers.
Nice heads up on the gear.. I heard you say pharaoh monks name.. I have a dj lip he sent me signed by head still in the box shipped in it’s the one he has mask on .. IF anyone would want it or you .. And about buy one of these for my July eons I saw you do video playing out with it 😊

Great video bro. Do the mixstream Pro Go pitch faders have a stop click at 0 position? Thanks
I don't remember, and I don't have one in my possession right now.

The Denon GO is still the one to beat.
Professionals don't need built in speakers.
Thanks for watching and your take on this!
Hi, where you bought other color knobs of EQ for your Denon Prime Go?

Can you connect these to Bluetooth to play sound through BT
No.

You can now!
imo the Numark would be the better buy. I need portability but also can’t rock with those tiny jogwheels on the Denon…just no way.
I feel you. I think the Denon is built led stronger with metal chassis. But I understand if you want bigger jog wheels.

Was the sound output the same quality as the Denon Prime Go?
I still think the Denon sound is more robust.
You know the mix stream is cool but I could do without those speakers in the unit. Otherwise the vertical eq and bigger platters is a real winning design.
Speaker on the unit will be bad for one reason, less effect buttons . I rather have more effect buttons 😊

100%
Guys, can mixstream pro Go be connected via Bluetooth to an external speaker? Thank you

Wish Numark had left the speakers out and use the space for essential things like give longer pitches etc..
Thanks for this. I think this will work well for a first controller.
It's like a controller and Mpc Live 2 combo.
For your cool with learning Engine software first, and willing to spend a more pro price no doubt
