I could get lost in IKEA coming up with cool ways to use their products in my home, and you know I especially love putting my own spin on their items! Here are my four latest IKEA hacks: a display column made from side tables, a candelabra and lamp both made from coat racks, and a side table made from a cutting board and drying racks. They can be made by people of any skill level with minimal tools. Can’t wait to see you recreate them in your homes!

Thanks so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed. Leave any future video ideas you would like to see in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe!
You could put another cutting board on the bottom & leave off one rack, would make a great storage cubby, or pet bed.
Great idea! Might be too shakey and unstable though.. maybe somehow weighted down under the bottom one?
I was just going to post exactly the same comment
YES! I was thinking I'd make a concrete base & only use two racks. Then I could stack books inside
I love the way your brain works!! I walk around IKEA and just see what they’re meant to be I wish I had your vision… keep showing us your visions this year I love them
Yeah I definitely agree with that! Adding another cutting board in the middle for a little shelf would be fire! It would also add some support too - leaving off the 4th wire rack
Only Drew does his DIYs on a linen drop cloth next to an expensive white couch. These are fun and different ideas, I haven't seen anywhere else. The lamp is definitely my favourite. That's why I keep coming back to your channel
The lamp is my favourite too and yes it was causing me anxiety that he was doing construction right next to the couch. It’s like when I see TH-camrs with a can of paint open on a beautiful rug. 🤪
I totally agree. Love the ideas especially the lamp but isn’t there a better place to do all that work rather than next to the beautiful sofa?
Was thinking the same thing 😅 I’d be so nervous
Just a show off. He did not look happy doing it in his living room. Too much work at the beginning to assemble the cube. What a waste. I would've used a less expensive frame instead... waste of money and time. Is he getting paid by ikea?
Drew the concrete column is total fabulousness! I’ve seen very expensive (dare I say pretentious) versions of it. This is a totally affordable way to get the same vibe and have the satisfaction of creating it.
I love it so much!! You can also tint the concrete if you wanted a darker column
The ideas you come up with, Drew!
You are definitely an out-of-the- box thinker!
Love them all! 🩵
Yes, more please. 😊
Agreed!!
Out of the box, aka IKEA
Depending on where you place your column you could leave the 4th side open for hidden storage. All great hacks - I'm hard pressed to decide which was my favorite! Thanks Drew! S.
I was thinking the same thing. I always want more storage and hate to have empty 'wasted' space. It would usually be up against a wall so having the back side open should be fine.
I told justin this as I was making it but then I was like “people will think I’m weird lol” 😂😂😂
Loved the lamp! You are so creative!
we are all the same kind of weird here hehehe @@lonefox
Not weird - clever! S.
I love the little cutting board table. Only I would just use the racks on 3 sides, leave the front open, and put some wood slats going across the bottom, resting on the metal cross pieces of the sides. Make a bottom shelf for books or whatnot. Also if you glued in the wood slats it would add a lot of stability (cross bracing).
Ohhh smart!!!
Yes please do more ikea hacks for home decor 😍
I love all your videos, but you really shine at these Ikea hacks. These are all cool; they are things that people would actually like in their homes. Happy New Year!
Drew you have such a great imagination! I love all the hacks you did! I would have never thought of the dish rack and cutting board table, that turned out really nice.....they all did for that matter! lol Great ideas, thanks for sharing!❤
Everything turned out so well. The candelabra & the floor lamp were my favorites. I think you need to be a creative genius to come up with these alternatives.
I would never have been able to resist leaving the fourth side open on the column to have extra storage!
DREW!!!! THE SIDE TABLEEEE!!!!! So fun and creative.... you NEED a worktable, drilling on top of your sofa is CRAZY.
I’ve been watching your channel for years. I don’t mean to sound condescending but you are the cutest! You are so excited about your work. And the result is brilliance. I love Lone Fox!
Your imagination and artistic courage is the 8th Wonder of the Natural World, Drew. I love to think of projects that don't break the bank as well, but you are the Master. Thanks for the inspiration and lessons.
I love what you are doing with the house and other projects. Keep making the great content.
YES!!!!! I was about to get a 4ft concrete column with gold vaining for 1000 bucks online!!! I'm going to give this a shot, draw in the veining and then fill it with gold leafing then seal it! This is such a good idea im beyond excited that you uploaded this before I ordored!!!
wow that table is so cool. Imagine Staining the wood and painting the racks in your favorite metal color or black.
The rope on the lamp im surprised you didn't paint it a copper tone. Its a great idea though. The side table i wonder if its possible to put a bottom on it like the top and leave a side of the metal rods of to open it up as a second shelf.
I absolutely love watching your dyi projects they're all so creative.
you could make a bottom shelf with some wood slats just resting on the horizontal metal pieces on the racks
Four great projects. Going to use the cement column idea to make smaller columns of different heights and widths to display objects at the back of shelves.
Yes more ikea hacks please! I feel like all the DIY crafters/makers only do home makeovers now. I need more maker videos!!!! ❤
I loved the lamp with the coat rack and the column was amazing. Oh wow beautiful. The candelabra was genious. Thank you so much for sharing.
This may just be my favorite ikea hack video you’ve done, Drew. So elevated.
I am hoping you make the little downstairs breakfast nook into a solarium plant room. Give us some ideas for plant holders and lighting systems. It would work well next to the kitchen for watering, planting etc.
Wow, great projects 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Well done! Yes, more hacks please !
Yes, more IKEA hacks!!! Awesome job!!! Love your content! Always top notch ❤
Your creativity is endless! The column is genius
I loved the concrete pedestal hack. ❤️
Me too!
Drew, would love to see you design a workshop/studio in your home. I cringed when I saw you working in your beautiful sitting room! Love your designs! Now let’s see that Lone Fox workshop!
Love all of these DIYs, Drew!
I am always astounded with how you can take something and make it beautiful and stunning. Thank you for sharing your gifts!
Yes, more storage and decor ikea hacks, please!
I love the coat rack/ floor lamp, Drew.
I love the idea of the column! You could use that general process on so many things! Amazing Drew ❤
The side table was so so so creative! Always in awe of your hacks
BOY ARE YOU TALENTED!!! I love all four of these DIYs. I love pretty much everything you do. Keep on keeping on!!!
Great hacks Drew. Love those lamps out of coat racks. You are absolutely a genius ❤
Yes please. More furniture please. I think of that coffee table you made with the ikea bowls all the time. It’s so good !
Not the typical stuff at all! Well done Lone Fox.
I love your ideas 😍...also love when you mention things that worked out as well as the ones that didn't work out. Keep them coming 🎉
YES I bought a concrete kitchen table that is 60 inches round, I did not anticipate however that this thing would be heavier than my home and would take 4 to 5 big burly men to move. I’m pretty sure when I sell my house the table will stay I couldn’t imagine moving it again.😂 that pedestal could be just as cool leaving one side or two sides open so you could have a curio of some sort. Again great idea!
The side table is a GENius hack!
Drew…loved the floor lamp you created! It turned out so pretty!
All good ideas!
#4 - I see that as a cat tower prior to closing it in, three sides, cats would love it.
Yes more! The column is fabulous!!!😮😮😮❤❤❤
Well sir, that lamp was AMAZE BALLS!
I kinda wanna make it!!! It’s stunning
That side table is amazing! ❤
Drew you are an amazing artist your talent goes Way beyond the ordinary. You're an incredible visionary and a total delight to watch. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us.
the standing candelabra OMG so beautiful! your ideas are just amazing your vision of the finished project Wow. thanks for this.
All FOUR absolute genius!!!! the first three so super simple. I love-love all of them. YES, more, please.
It was so nice to see you do an Ikea video. Definitely do more in 2024!
DREWWWW!!!!!!
Yes please we want more IKEA or any DIY hacks like these more often........
THANK YOU DREW! ❤ from MALAYSIA!
OMG the cement look alike table is everything!!! Well done Drew! ❤✨
Drew, you are so clever, simply brilliant ideas ,love it❤
YES! Please, more IKEA hacks!
I’m amazed at your creativity, Drew! Beautiful projects…my favourites were the lamp, the column and the side table…the candelabra was definitely a cool idea, too.❤
⭐⭐⭐⭐Great hacks. I'm definitely going to steal the "Lamp hack" & the "Column" which is my favorite hack. Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos
I loved them all, but especially the first three. Wonderful, Drew. Wonderful! 🙂
Love your hacks, the lamp was my fave. I have a closet I would like to create an organization system that I can hang things on as well as store things on. I live in prefab home and have almost no storage. I’d love to see something like that 🙏
Hope your doing well, Drew and do have a great and fabulous 2024. These DIY'S were so creative, unbelievable how talented you are, wow!
Awesome as always!❤ You could also spray paint the racks black.
I love when you do these type of videos. There is something so relaxing about watching you create DIY projects. These were so cool, too! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me.
I loved seeing the painting your mother meticulously packed and sent to you for your dining room. When I noticed you hadn't used it in your dining room, I felt sad for your mom. Seeing it in your living room made me smile. Have a wonderful New Year.
I am in complete awe of the way you look at things and see what they can be!
The floor lamp is stunning!
I am so happy you are finally back doing DIYs. You are so talented and creative I always find something you do that I want to try. Keep up your awesome work!
The grill side table and the Lack column!! GENIUS!!!
Love that you do your creations in the living room😳
This was so fun! It was a delight to watch this video 🥰
The floor lamp was stunning 😍
The side table is badass! I would have flipped the top so you couldn't realize it was a cutting board and added a second to the bottom would be cool too. Wow!
That coat stand lamp is wonderful!
Love that vase on the column!
Love the idea of the coat rack/ floor lamp….could you use battery operated bulb, so you don’t have the cord hanging? Love all your projects. So creative!
love the 3 table columns. You have wonderful talent.
Awesome ideas. I would have left the back of the column open for hidden storage by putting strips of the plastic down the legs so the concrete could be seamless.
Love the table rack. Very industrial. I’m gonna make one for sure.
I like the projects but....why are you working on them in the lobby so near your boucle sofa😜? I would absolutely drip, splash, spill, drill something I wish I hadn't. So brave! So talented! So clever!
I admire your talent to create impeccable and exquisite DIY.
Awesome projects to start the new year!
I like the table, chandelier, and light!
You've outdone yourself!!! Wow!
You are a design genius and I don’t say that lightly, I have flipped many homes in my day but wow you are just good. Also I am so glad that silver is back I am just not a gold girly.
I love IKEA hacks, storage always works for me
Love these, Drew! The column looks amazing!
Please do more IKEA hacks. Your ideas are terrific!
*Column* . I have a pair of MDF tall cubbies that I have been trying to unload on Marketplace. I like this idea for plant stands. May have to give this a try when it's not 30 degrees outside.
Yasssss …. Please Drew Please give us more in 2024🤩🧡
I think these might be my favorite IKEA hacks you have done!
Love the floating lamp. So cool and such creative ideas!
The floor lamp is lovely!
The floor lamp! Yes.
These were the best hacks I’ve seen and want to do myself!! Great Job!!👍
These creations are just mind boggling and really extremely creative. It’s fascinating to watch you make the transition. Thank you for your willingness to share your ideas. They are very inspiring.
Very creative, but my favorite is the one with the glass lamp 👏
Yes More IKEA hacks - I love them!
This video reminded me why I fell in love with your channel! Keep it up Drew!
I actually love the look of the jute cord lamp with the black steel. It's a really nice contrast. I have the same clothing rack. Might DIY this as well! Thanks for the inspiration ❤️
I have this coat rack in white - had it for years & love its functionality. IKEA must have reintroduced it. Your hack of it is pretty great. Love your videos!
I love the concrete column, it came out great.
That concrete column doesn’t look like a diy at all! This is a great one!
Im very happy because I started following you because of all the diy you do. Keep doing Diy for us, your fan. I know you have been decorating your house, something I love. But we need the old you back.
