I love the way your brain works!! I walk around IKEA and just see what they’re meant to be I wish I had your vision… keep showing us your visions this year I love them
Yeah I definitely agree with that! Adding another cutting board in the middle for a little shelf would be fire! It would also add some support too - leaving off the 4th wire rack
Only Drew does his DIYs on a linen drop cloth next to an expensive white couch. These are fun and different ideas, I haven't seen anywhere else. The lamp is definitely my favourite. That's why I keep coming back to your channel
The lamp is my favourite too and yes it was causing me anxiety that he was doing construction right next to the couch. It’s like when I see TH-camrs with a can of paint open on a beautiful rug. 🤪
Just a show off. He did not look happy doing it in his living room. Too much work at the beginning to assemble the cube. What a waste. I would've used a less expensive frame instead... waste of money and time. Is he getting paid by ikea?
Drew the concrete column is total fabulousness! I’ve seen very expensive (dare I say pretentious) versions of it. This is a totally affordable way to get the same vibe and have the satisfaction of creating it.
I’ve been watching your channel for years. I don’t mean to sound condescending but you are the cutest! You are so excited about your work. And the result is brilliance. I love Lone Fox!
I love the little cutting board table. Only I would just use the racks on 3 sides, leave the front open, and put some wood slats going across the bottom, resting on the metal cross pieces of the sides. Make a bottom shelf for books or whatnot. Also if you glued in the wood slats it would add a lot of stability (cross bracing).
Everything turned out so well. The candelabra & the floor lamp were my favorites. I think you need to be a creative genius to come up with these alternatives.
Your imagination and artistic courage is the 8th Wonder of the Natural World, Drew. I love to think of projects that don't break the bank as well, but you are the Master. Thanks for the inspiration and lessons.
Depending on where you place your column you could leave the 4th side open for hidden storage. All great hacks - I'm hard pressed to decide which was my favorite! Thanks Drew! S.
I was thinking the same thing. I always want more storage and hate to have empty 'wasted' space. It would usually be up against a wall so having the back side open should be fine.
YES!!!!! I was about to get a 4ft concrete column with gold vaining for 1000 bucks online!!! I'm going to give this a shot, draw in the veining and then fill it with gold leafing then seal it! This is such a good idea im beyond excited that you uploaded this before I ordored!!!
I love all your videos, but you really shine at these Ikea hacks. These are all cool; they are things that people would actually like in their homes. Happy New Year!
Four great projects. Going to use the cement column idea to make smaller columns of different heights and widths to display objects at the back of shelves.
I am hoping you make the little downstairs breakfast nook into a solarium plant room. Give us some ideas for plant holders and lighting systems. It would work well next to the kitchen for watering, planting etc.
Drew you have such a great imagination! I love all the hacks you did! I would have never thought of the dish rack and cutting board table, that turned out really nice.....they all did for that matter! lol Great ideas, thanks for sharing!❤
Drew, would love to see you design a workshop/studio in your home. I cringed when I saw you working in your beautiful sitting room! Love your designs! Now let’s see that Lone Fox workshop!
I love when you do these type of videos. There is something so relaxing about watching you create DIY projects. These were so cool, too! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me.
Drew you are an amazing artist your talent goes Way beyond the ordinary. You're an incredible visionary and a total delight to watch. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us.
*Column* . I have a pair of MDF tall cubbies that I have been trying to unload on Marketplace. I like this idea for plant stands. May have to give this a try when it's not 30 degrees outside.
I loved seeing the painting your mother meticulously packed and sent to you for your dining room. When I noticed you hadn't used it in your dining room, I felt sad for your mom. Seeing it in your living room made me smile. Have a wonderful New Year.
Lone Fox, you are a genius and so pleasant to listen to. I am 82 years old and would not attempt to do the marvelous things you create. I am, however, interested in products that make wood prettier, IKEA slipcover cleaning, products to spiffy up the house, etc. You mentioned one wood product I will check out in just a minute,; will also check out your store. Thank you, Mr. Lone Fox.❤ Eva Boehm Houston, TX
The rope on the lamp im surprised you didn't paint it a copper tone. Its a great idea though. The side table i wonder if its possible to put a bottom on it like the top and leave a side of the metal rods of to open it up as a second shelf. I absolutely love watching your dyi projects they're all so creative.
Im very happy because I started following you because of all the diy you do. Keep doing Diy for us, your fan. I know you have been decorating your house, something I love. But we need the old you back.
I am always astounded with how you can take something and make it beautiful and stunning. Thank you for sharing your gifts! Yes, more storage and decor ikea hacks, please!
Love your hacks, the lamp was my fave. I have a closet I would like to create an organization system that I can hang things on as well as store things on. I live in prefab home and have almost no storage. I’d love to see something like that 🙏
Oooh my gosh what an ingenious idea with the ikea tables that's brilliant might have to try that myself and same with the side table.aswel..yes more hacks please drew 🙏
YES I bought a concrete kitchen table that is 60 inches round, I did not anticipate however that this thing would be heavier than my home and would take 4 to 5 big burly men to move. I’m pretty sure when I sell my house the table will stay I couldn’t imagine moving it again.😂 that pedestal could be just as cool leaving one side or two sides open so you could have a curio of some sort. Again great idea!
You are a design genius and I don’t say that lightly, I have flipped many homes in my day but wow you are just good. Also I am so glad that silver is back I am just not a gold girly.
Super great video. You are so creative. Hope you do more of these!! I'd love seeing you make a marble coffee or dining room table - or even the look of marble!
Awesome ideas. I would have left the back of the column open for hidden storage by putting strips of the plastic down the legs so the concrete could be seamless.
I am so happy you are finally back doing DIYs. You are so talented and creative I always find something you do that I want to try. Keep up your awesome work!
Wow such genius ideas..i mean i would never think of anything near these ideas! I love all of them, and would have each piece in my home❤... but the lamp is my favorite, its sooo pretty!!
When you were building the table with the drying racks I could envision you weaving something around the metal pieces. New subscriber. Enjoy your creativity. Keep the great videos coming!
Henry Featherfinish is an amazing product. It's meant to use as underlayment to even out a floor, but it sticks to everything. I covered a linoleum countertop in it. I've since moved, but it looked like day one 7 years later. That shit is not coming off.
I have this coat rack in white - had it for years & love its functionality. IKEA must have reintroduced it. Your hack of it is pretty great. Love your videos!
Always fun to have a new Drew Fox video! You are such a creative person; I think your brain is always working working, even while shopping! Like that you include your partial fails - something always does happen. I know you won't let it rest and I look forward to seeing your actual concept in reality in future. On the other hand, the concrete column is totally not my style, but it is awesome and a true DIY that is so simple and classic. I'll bet set designers envy you.😜
I actually love the look of the jute cord lamp with the black steel. It's a really nice contrast. I have the same clothing rack. Might DIY this as well! Thanks for the inspiration ❤️
The side table is badass! I would have flipped the top so you couldn't realize it was a cutting board and added a second to the bottom would be cool too. Wow!
I'd love to see more IKEA hack videos. Home décor is something I always enjoy. The "concrete" column is genius! Why don't you have your own TV show yet!?
You could put another cutting board on the bottom & leave off one rack, would make a great storage cubby, or pet bed.
Great idea! Might be too shakey and unstable though.. maybe somehow weighted down under the bottom one?
I was just going to post exactly the same comment
YES! I was thinking I'd make a concrete base & only use two racks. Then I could stack books inside

I totally agree. Love the ideas especially the lamp but isn’t there a better place to do all that work rather than next to the beautiful sofa?
Was thinking the same thing 😅 I’d be so nervous
Just a show off. He did not look happy doing it in his living room. Too much work at the beginning to assemble the cube. What a waste. I would've used a less expensive frame instead... waste of money and time. Is he getting paid by ikea?
Drew the concrete column is total fabulousness! I’ve seen very expensive (dare I say pretentious) versions of it. This is a totally affordable way to get the same vibe and have the satisfaction of creating it.
I love it so much!! You can also tint the concrete if you wanted a darker column
The ideas you come up with, Drew!
You are definitely an out-of-the- box thinker!
Love them all! 🩵
Yes, more please. 😊
Agreed!!
Out of the box, aka IKEA
DREW!!!! THE SIDE TABLEEEE!!!!! So fun and creative.... you NEED a worktable, drilling on top of your sofa is CRAZY.
Yes please do more ikea hacks for home decor 😍
I loved the lamp with the coat rack and the column was amazing. Oh wow beautiful. The candelabra was genious. Thank you so much for sharing.
I’ve been watching your channel for years. I don’t mean to sound condescending but you are the cutest! You are so excited about your work. And the result is brilliance. I love Lone Fox!

Ohhh smart!!!

I told justin this as I was making it but then I was like “people will think I’m weird lol” 😂😂😂
Loved the lamp! You are so creative!
we are all the same kind of weird here hehehe @@lonefox
Not weird - clever! S.
wow that table is so cool. Imagine Staining the wood and painting the racks in your favorite metal color or black.
I would never have been able to resist leaving the fourth side open on the column to have extra storage!
Four great projects. Going to use the cement column idea to make smaller columns of different heights and widths to display objects at the back of shelves.
I love what you are doing with the house and other projects. Keep making the great content.
Yes please. More furniture please. I think of that coffee table you made with the ikea bowls all the time. It’s so good !
Drew, would love to see you design a workshop/studio in your home. I cringed when I saw you working in your beautiful sitting room! Love your designs! Now let’s see that Lone Fox workshop!
This may just be my favorite ikea hack video you’ve done, Drew. So elevated.
All FOUR absolute genius!!!! the first three so super simple. I love-love all of them. YES, more, please.
BOY ARE YOU TALENTED!!! I love all four of these DIYs. I love pretty much everything you do. Keep on keeping on!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐Great hacks. I'm definitely going to steal the "Lamp hack" & the "Column" which is my favorite hack. Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos
All good ideas!
#4 - I see that as a cat tower prior to closing it in, three sides, cats would love it.
You've outdone yourself!!! Wow!
Drew…loved the floor lamp you created! It turned out so pretty!
The side table was so so so creative! Always in awe of your hacks
I love when you do these type of videos. There is something so relaxing about watching you create DIY projects. These were so cool, too! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me.
Not the typical stuff at all! Well done Lone Fox.
I can not say which one is my favorite. I love them all. You are so talented ❤
I loved them all, but especially the first three. Wonderful, Drew. Wonderful! 🙂

The rope on the lamp im surprised you didn't paint it a copper tone. Its a great idea though. The side table i wonder if its possible to put a bottom on it like the top and leave a side of the metal rods of to open it up as a second shelf.
I absolutely love watching your dyi projects they're all so creative.
you could make a bottom shelf with some wood slats just resting on the horizontal metal pieces on the racks
I love the idea of the column! You could use that general process on so many things! Amazing Drew ❤
I am in complete awe of the way you look at things and see what they can be!
Im very happy because I started following you because of all the diy you do. Keep doing Diy for us, your fan. I know you have been decorating your house, something I love. But we need the old you back.
I love that you pull out you epoxy and power tools on your white furniture! I cringed…..but in a good way! You’re just simply the best of the best!
Great hacks Drew. Love those lamps out of coat racks. You are absolutely a genius ❤

Home decor thanks for sharing Happy, New Year’s welcome back
Love the table rack. Very industrial. I’m gonna make one for sure.
I used polywall to line under all the sinks in the house and some drawers, makes them easy to clean.
When you were building the table with the drying racks I could envision you weaving something around the metal pieces. New subscriber. Enjoy your creativity. Keep the great videos coming!
This was so fun! It was a delight to watch this video 🥰
Drew, you are so clever, simply brilliant ideas ,love it❤
Awesome as always!❤ You could also spray paint the racks black.
I really liked 3 & 4. More of these videos would be great
WOW! your creativity and the quality of what you create is amazing! yes more please. SO talented!
Well sir, that lamp was AMAZE BALLS!
I kinda wanna make it!!! It’s stunning
Great hacks, Drew. Loved them, especially the concrete column. You are so imaginative. Yes, please do more Ikea hacks ❤
Henry Featherfinish is an amazing product. It's meant to use as underlayment to even out a floor, but it sticks to everything. I covered a linoleum countertop in it. I've since moved, but it looked like day one 7 years later. That shit is not coming off.
I loved the concrete pedestal hack. ❤️
Me too!
These were the best hacks I’ve seen and want to do myself!! Great Job!!👍
Love these, Drew! The column looks amazing!
I have this coat rack in white - had it for years & love its functionality. IKEA must have reintroduced it. Your hack of it is pretty great. Love your videos!
That side table is amazing! ❤
Great ideas! Love the stone-look column!

Love the floating lamp. So cool and such creative ideas!
love the 3 table columns. You have wonderful talent.
The side table is badass! I would have flipped the top so you couldn't realize it was a cutting board and added a second to the bottom would be cool too. Wow!
