I love your work. And I have a problem with my hallway. Hallway have 16m2 and I don't know what to do with it to make it functional. It's square ⬜ shape. Please help.
I Like the calm voice and not screaming while you give the guide tour.. 👍 there are so many TH-camrs always so loud screaming in the videos! Gosh I can’t listen to them ..
listen to your soft voice as you know also helps highlight the high end look and feel love you site thank you you tubers or any sales people could learn so much from you xoxox
This is so useful. I love your videos and your style sense, but especially your calm nature. Your work is much appreciated. Thank you for making our world more beautiful and less cluttered.
The problem with Ikea in recent years to me is that the products only look decent or expensive on their professional fotos. As soon as you approach or even touch them in the store, they often feel super cheap and I wish the item costs a little more, while being better quality. Bc the design often is awsome.
I have always liked the products from IKEA. I purchased my first products in the Philadelphia area in the mid-80s for my pre-school children and continue to purchase pieces sporadically over the years and they are in their early 40s. People make fun of me because I continue to purchase furniture pieces but the furniture is durable. Thanks for the sneak peek of the latest pieces and I did find a few pieces that would be welcome additions.
Loren people need to think twice before making fun of you, because they overspend on furniture from Pottery Barn or West Elm which isn't that much better than IKEA these days.
Your product choices were spot on. You found the perfect designer pieces. Thanks for embracing the color! You’re absolutely right, it makes rooms more interesting. And if I don’t like a color anymore, I just paint it. Heck, I’ve even wallpapered my Expedit/Kallax. Life and art are too fun to be grey, why should our homes be?
I love the addition of colourful pieces. It takes me back to Terence Conran's Habitat stores in the 1970s in England. Lots of cube storage units with colourful doors and drawers, and coloured floor lamps with spotlights. I bought a few of these items in sunny yellow. Not cheap, but great design and excellent quality!
Reynard I really love the green/grey colour lamp and love those stackable bins are quite a space saver. I would love to see the hackpoppel bowl in teal, that would be a really lovely colour.
It's so funny how everything on your list are things I had noticed already. I shop at IKEA pretty often so I was surprised by all these new editions. I'm just glad someone is out there calling more attention to them.
Hi Reynard I cant stop watching your videos. Can you post a video about Kitchen colouring and pairing, I want to completely renovate my kitchen and have brown floors, Im struggling to find what colour cabinets and island and tops should all be, do you have tips and tricks on the right approach to colour pairings for kitchen, thanks !
I like the resurgence of early pieces influenced by great design. I will purchase the shaved timber 1964 light shade and some of the other items. Thank you very much for this comforting video.
Hello, shouldn't the size of the rounded coffee table exceed the pouf section of the L-shaped sofa, is there such a rule? Sorry for asking a question independent of the video, we enjoy watching you, thank you 🙏🏼
20 plus years ago IKEA made innovative items in Bold colors. I hope that they bring back those lines. The multi color shag carpet and the metal green dresser. 🎉
Very informational! Does the glass/acrylic top of Ikea frame reflect light in a weird way? I am thinking of framing something on the wall and have a spot light directed to it ,but was wondering if the reflection would make it look weird/cheap.
Your wrap of the side table pairs around the sofa is wonderful, thank you. Love you show some colour in the rooms, I am intending to do this, to bully the ugliest 50s house I have ever seen into something else. I am so tempted by a side by side pair of the red low backed poang chairs. My excellent 2,000aud leather Tessa chair as it cost 1987 is still perfect but has got smelly due to living in a very high rental terrace house with lack of air flow.
I appreciate your recommendation, but do you based only from their appearance or from their quality such as strenght, longevity, etc? I know they're IKEA but those, especially safety, are things that you should consider too
I like the Pax wardrobe doors. You wouldn't immediately identify them as being IKEA. I will wander out to my nearest store presently to see the new items.
I always find it difficult to combine colored furniture or accessories with the existing interior. I also get tired of colored things so quickly. Does anyone else feel the same? I prefer nude and tone-on-tone.
The picture frames are made from a "wood effect" material with a plastic glass. It doesn't look high end. It looks pathetic. I don't understand why they can't use a cheap, maybe varnished, real wood since it is such a small amount needed.
The bamboo light looks nice but way too much light is wasted by being absorbed by the wood. I could see it in a large space that has many other lights to conpensate, or say you wanted to light a dining table by using 3 of them in a row, but I wouldn't use it otherwise.
i want to agree but sadly all of these still look precisely worth their price. Just because they are a bolder shape or color doesn't change the fact they still are and look made of ikea grade material quality
You notice that some ikea items look like the ones on expensive shops. I would rather say that it is the modern minimalism that looks ikeaish, no matter how each item costs...
Ikea has really declined in my country. Most of the time I see a nice product recommended, it is not available over here. Same again with the red Sannahed picture frame. Not available 😞
I have bought a horribly expensive 50s how in Aus city which however is 50s not mcm, how coukd they build this when so much architectural information and home designs were in the media in Aus. So seeing the light shade for example is great.
Sorry. I usually agree with you but not this time. Some of these pieces look good, but surely have nothing in common with highend luxury products are just good looking but in a cheap way. Other ones asthe kallax always add the cheapest vibe to an house.
Everything I’ve bought from IKEA has fallen apart within two years, so I no longer purchase anything from them. Even their plants came with thousands of gnats in the soil, forcing me to throw them out. Never again. I only watched this video to support you!
I never have gnats in my plants, the key is simply allowing the soil to dry out. Most water too much and think the soil has to be constantly moist, the moisture attracts bugs.
I have Ikea furniture for years and it still looks and function great. I only have faux plants from Ikea, so I don't know anything of the living plants they sell.
Cover image is a sneak peek of our bedroom corner. Video will be up before end of the year. Stay tuned!
I love your work. And I have a problem with my hallway. Hallway have 16m2 and I don't know what to do with it to make it functional. It's square ⬜ shape. Please help.
I will buy the floor lamp you have bought. I am choosing deeper colours for my home…

Then spend more and shop elsewhere
Lovely video. Beautifully presented and thoughtfully curated

The colour search tip is amazing. Thank you!

The cord wrapping around the lamp base is a wonderful idea!

I am so glad to see some colors! I am sick to death of black and white and painting the laminate it so involved!
Ditto times a million times. Having to watch the TH-cam videos on how to paint IKEA. 😮
The malm is a spectacular bed for the price we've had ours for 10 years and it's held up well but it's the oak look one
Reynard I really love the green/grey colour lamp and love those stackable bins are quite a space saver. I would love to see the hackpoppel bowl in teal, that would be a really lovely colour.
I do like the resurgence of retro pieces that have strong design and currently with colour.
It's so funny how everything on your list are things I had noticed already. I shop at IKEA pretty often so I was surprised by all these new editions. I'm just glad someone is out there calling more attention to them.
That shoe mat would be good to store my Brompton folding bike on in the entryway hall closet
Great stuff! You are the best interior designer on TH-cam. Thanks so much
Thank you for this video, a great relief to see and hear you and your sensitivity. I see others recommending the worst of ikea.
Great colours, just what my 50s house needs
The best ikea haul video ever. Real professional video. Thank you. Wish you a successful career life ahead.

I love my green kallax shelves! I have one upright and the other horizontal.
I like the resurgence of early pieces influenced by great design. I will purchase the shaved timber 1964 light shade and some of the other items. Thank you very much for this comforting video.
Thank you, I loved this video, perfect timing for me.
The blue Hackpoppel Decorative Bowl is the one I would pick if I was looking for an interesting piece of useful art.
So glad I found you again. I watched one of your vids a long time ago and didn’t know who you were
Colour comes with recession I think I will get the hemmed day bed for visitors.
Hello, shouldn't the size of the rounded coffee table exceed the pouf section of the L-shaped sofa, is there such a rule? Sorry for asking a question independent of the video, we enjoy watching you, thank you 🙏🏼
We just installed Mossjon and we love it
Fantastic Ikea items you have highlighted there!❤
I agree re warmer light. Hard with the cord on the floor, dwarf grandchildren who run very fast everywhere would be tripping on these.
20 plus years ago IKEA made innovative items in Bold colors. I hope that they bring back those lines. The multi color shag carpet and the metal green dresser. 🎉
I would deeply appreciate an Ikea return to.more classic swedish country style. Mho
Cool choice of items💕

The RODFLIK is great for its price. Speaking from experience. 👍👍👍
It’s amazing how it’s more expensive in America compared to the UK
Thanks I like the designer tea table
Thanks, man. I appreciate.
Thank you for the video!
Well done❤

I have to be corny, I do think this channel is tops.
I appreciate your recommendation, but do you based only from their appearance or from their quality such as strenght, longevity, etc? I know they're IKEA but those, especially safety, are things that you should consider too
omg the forest green kallax
I LOVE it ❤
The chair in the thumbnail is from castelry. I have two!
Love IKEA!
Hi Reynard.. may I please know where you got the hallway console you used in your background from. thanks
I like the Pax wardrobe doors. You wouldn't immediately identify them as being IKEA. I will wander out to my nearest store presently to see the new items.
frames are so overwhelming would be great to do a review and recs of affordable frames
I always find it difficult to combine colored furniture or accessories with the existing interior. I also get tired of colored things so quickly. Does anyone else feel the same? I prefer nude and tone-on-tone.
I guess then you have to keep the whole house kind of colourful. If you have just a few items here and there, they might soon feel out of place.
And otherwise the conclusion is that you found your style and color is not your thing.
The picture frames are made from a "wood effect" material with a plastic glass. It doesn't look high end. It looks pathetic. I don't understand why they can't use a cheap, maybe varnished, real wood since it is such a small amount needed.
The plastic glass really bothers me too. I stopped buying frames from Ikea for this reason. Even Walmart uses real glass.

Yes the glass looks like Aalto alto.
i want to agree but sadly all of these still look precisely worth their price. Just because they are a bolder shape or color doesn't change the fact they still are and look made of ikea grade material quality

Not a fan of all that colour, it will date quickly and I feel I would easily tire of it.
Ikea got expensive as the quality continues to lessen.
👍🇨🇦😎✨️

sounds like a personal problem. My ikea furniture are 5+ years old and they still look brand new
I never have gnats in my plants, the key is simply allowing the soil to dry out. Most water too much and think the soil has to be constantly moist, the moisture attracts bugs.
Bottom water your plants
I have Ikea furniture for years and it still looks and function great. I only have faux plants from Ikea, so I don't know anything of the living plants they sell.
After 10+ years my Pax is not falling apart.
Yes, they Look Like but they dont feel Like highend
This video is a long infomercial for Ikea. Good gawd. Let's hope he got paid enough by Ikea.
None of or any of its PRODUCTS are HEIRLOOM worthy , just CRAPS !
an ugly bin lololol
