Coach has my heart too 🥰 I own more retail bags than outlet but like you said, it doesn’t matter. If you love the bag, then you love it! My first Coach bag came from the outlet and I think that it is a great way to introduce oneself to the brand. Thank you for sharing! ❤️

I am in my 40s 😂 but I first fell in love with Coach in my 20s and rediscovered them in recent years. I have a few contemporary retail items and several beautiful vintage pieces (1970s through early aughts), but some of my favorite bags to carry are from the Outlet. The big differences I find are that the Outlet uses less luxe hardware, often has a simpler fabric lining, and the leathers are less supple to the touch, but overall the Outlet bags are still very fine products. I definitely think the Outlet has majorly stepped up their game in recent years. In short, I love it all!

Hello and thank you for the video 😊 I bought my first Coach bags 22 years ago. I have recently started purchasing bags from coach for the first time in many years. The Cassie is what brought me back to Coach. With all that said I still own my first Coach retail bags that are now 22 years old and in great condition. I have owned outlet bags in the past and they are work horses !! Both retail and outlet have never done me wrong. So I guess it just depends on the styles you like 😊

I have more than 20 coach bags I bought at carmel by the sea outlet. They are old as 15 -20 years ànd still looking new. My teen daughter borrowed few to college. The time she returned the bags, they looked like garbage. I simply throw them to washer and air dry. They restored as new. Color still vibrant and intact. I applied coach conditioner to soften the leather. They are lovely. Something about Coach, they gave similar styles as LV and Gucci I noticed but more sturdy, higher quality and affordable. My LV are in closet for decoration. They are too fragile for daily use. You simply pay for the big logo.

Here's the deal: the bags are made in the same factories. The different size in the details. For example if you buy an item from the coach retail store it will have a lining with a tiny and buzzed coach logo throughout, whereas the outlet bag will just have a lining if it has one with no embossed logo on it it would just be plain. Another very noticeable detail is the tabs at the end of zippers, on Coach outlet bags they won't usually be pull tabs at the end of the zippers that are sewn onto the bag. The materials that are created for the straps, are on the couch retail bags they're much softer whereas on the outlet bags they're much more rough fibers these are for any of the black like expandable shoulder straps that are made of nylon not of the leather straps. Another initial thing is usually outlet bags do not have detachable straps there may be some that have them but most do not whereas most retail bags do have straps that are detachable. Also there's some differences in the piping and the finishing of the ends of the leather the seams where the leaders been sealed. Otherwise as far as I can tell the leather and the waxed canvas that are used are exactly the same materials.

So what about the Graham sling pack they look identical inside and out. The leather o. The retail isn't as soft as the outlet one. Should I be concerned about either one not being authentic
I just got a coach outlet bag. I like silver findings and good quality leather. I could not find these features anywhere else. It does scream coach with a large logo one the front (I'm not a brand tag fan) but it's cute and just the right color. Price was a little higher than I wanted to pay but not by much, so I got it. I'll be happy.

Thank youuu, at first I really confused because someone sell coach retail bag but she said she got it from the outlet, I thought it was fake. But after watching your video I just know that outlet also sell old retail product or bags that returned. But what I want to really know is did they change the “made in” tag if the retail bag moves to outlet? because I saw that retail bag from outlet has 1 dot after “made in vietnam” and another one also retail bag from outlet, the “made in vietnam” tag has no dots. What do you think?
