Idle stop and wiper blade and sprayer design suck, but if you put the wipers in maintenance mode, they will not move if you start the car. You have to hit your wiper blade lever to move them back down after the car is started
I can definitely relate with the key fob's not working within proximity. Sometimes it wouldn't even unlock when I stick my hand into the handle, and other times it would make the alarm that my doors are not shut correctly, when in fact they all are.

My 2018 is pretty solid, but not without problems. Replaced steering rack, A/C condenser and rear caliper came loose, making a noise like the rear was coming off. All in all, a decent car, but Honda needs more attention to quality.

I don’t drive much it’s mainly to get to and from work and short errands. It also has a recall for something called Civic EPS Grbx Greasing Saf Rec which I haven’t taken care of as yet. I’ve noticed some of the same issues you have mentioned. One good thing with leasing is that I can change it out for another vehicle if I want to. Nevertheless, I honestly I like the zippiness and fuel economy especially since I’ve been driving a 2000 GMC Jimmy for 18 years. Also I like the look of the Civic Hatchback, I just feel cool 😎 driving it for a fifty something year old female😜 Anyway, thanks for sharing all your experiences with owning a Honda Civic Hatchback your videos has helped me learn more about the vehicle which I may keep especially since it can be modified and dressed up not to mention the unique color.🥰
I purchased a 2025 hatchback sport urban gray and I also hate idle stop. 25 no longer have the fog lights which looks cleaner in my opinion with a new bumper design. I feel like the interior is pretty quiet compared to the 2020 accord I was driving and I also don’t like waiting for the car to warm up with that blue light.
I heard a lot of mixed things about that. One main thing people are saying is that it can void your warranty. Not sure if it's true or not but I'd rather just press a button that voiding my warranty if anything goes wrong.

I believe the 2025 you can now roll up the windows with only the fob
Definitely look up Maintenence mode on your wiper blades. They will not retract on auto start.

Ive noticed 11th gen key fobs dont work right when in the same pocket as a bluetooth device like airpods etc
Si dont get flog lights. I have a 22’ si fake. And my key fob is fine.
