In the past couple of months Dimash has been very busy 🐝 He has sung four duets on Chinese television with three different female singers : Lose Control with Chante Moore in English , Bevoming a Poet with Gong Linna, Red Moon Rules and I Came to Honor Mortal Life with Huang Xiaoyun. The last three in Chinese. All different styles and vocal techniques. He has also released his new beautiful song Angel Love in Khasakh and premiered his latest song at his two concerts in Khasakstan this weekend. The latest is really on fire, has not yet an official title but either Easy or Fire, and I think it will blow your socks off when you hear it - it has not been released on his official channel yet. I am sure it will be SOON 😉 Most Dears will understand the winky eyed smiley 😊

Dimash's voice is one of the most perfect instruments that exist in this world, and who knows if in others too 😊. No matter how many times I listen to "Daybreak," it's definitely one of my favorites. This song, and all the dynamics that DQ uses singing it, always moves me. I made a compilation of some of the qualities of the DQ voice that you featured as a vocal coach during your analysis: depth, resonance, bright, powerful, emotive, many different dynamics and tones, amazing range, richness, precision, intensity, softness, clarity , delicacy,... ugh! 😮💨😄. You are also very precise in your comments 👏👏😊 I wasn't able to join you live, but I enjoyed it almost as much as if I had been. Congratulations Collena on this great live reaction & watch party. I actually revisited it yesterday and did a new reaction and analysis after watching the ‘Behind the Scenes’ with Dimash. It gave me more context about the song, and I don’t feel like I fully did it justice on my live, so I’ll be posting that one soon! Sorry I had to leave but any mention of that show fills me with anger, I knew that if I came back later I could then fast forward through it.
They needed him for that show, although a lot of the performers were winners of major TV competitions like the voice, he was the icing on their cake so they promised him everything to get him to appear but lied through their teeth and even belittled him for wearing his national costume. He walked out because he discovered in the final he would be competing with children which is against his principles so he quit but it was edited to make it look like he quit because he was afraid to lose to children.

It’s really disappointing that they treated him that way, especially mocking his national costume, which is such an important part of his culture. At least I know now! At that point all the US thought of Kazakhstan was from the movie Borat, they didn't count on Dimash being Dimash, smart as a whip and stubborn as a mule and more than happy to walk away from one million dollars if he had to go against his principles to obtain it.
