Dimash is incomparable and you will need 10-12 performances in multiple styles and languages to begin to understand the scope of his talent. They also put him up against children. He had specifically that he would NOT sing against children. They did not honour his request.- he pulled out of the competion immediately.

I'm a 73 year old American and Dimash is the best singer/performer I've ever heard or seen. I've been following his music since the start of the Pandemic. He is truly wonderful! He performed this song in 2017 at the very start of the Chinese four month TV show, "The Singer". He was the first non-Chinese to ever perform on this program...the next day he had to have bodyguards! By the way, the audience consists of about 500 Chinese music teachers and vocalist. They act as judges and vote after every round to determine the ranking of each performer or group. React to anything and everything he does...you can't go wrong!

You are technically correct stating that there have been foreign performers, but they were litterally decoration. This was the first contest Dimash lost in his entire life and it happened only because he wasn't allowed to win. The show has been altered since, because of the fallout. Also... if by all trades you mean all trades within the professional music industry, then, sure. You are correct to state the judge can be either a singer or a guitarist. You are not correct suggesting he can be a plumber. That's not how this show works.
When I first this song years ago….after listening to it, I waited an hour to hear it again. The best singer I’ve ever heard. EVER…and as a producer in the industry, I can say that. I’ve NEVER Heard anyone who can do this. EVER….the world of dimash isn’t in this universe.

If you are unfamiliar with Dimash, prepare yourself to be amazed. Dimash possesses the most powerful voice on the planet. He was born May 1994 in Kazakhstan, his father being a pop singer and his mother an opera singer. At the age of five, he accompanied his mother to opera practice, whereupon a voice teacher heard his voice and took him under his wings. Dimash is extensively educated in music and is rumoured to have / getting a PhD in Music ; furthermore, he plays several instruments. He is an incredibly talented and smart young man, having performed songs in twelve different languages. Those incredible high notes are almost inconceivable for a male singer. Dimash is also a huge admirer of the late Michael Jackson, the king of pop.

This performance does not even scratch the surface of Dimash's talent and ability. A good professional vocalist has a range of about 3 octaves. According to some professional vocal analysts, Dimash's range is over 7 octaves (A1-D8), spanning across all four registers. Dimash is said to have "absolute pitch," often called “perfect pitch,” the ability to identify or re-create a given musical note without the benefit of a reference tone; i.e. the ability to hit any note with perfect pitch without any reference or lead in. He has continued to hone his skills and fine-tune and perfect his already unbelievable abilities even more. There does not seem to be a limit to what he can achieve vocally. I am excited to follow his journey. Dimash may go down in history as the most extraordinary vocal talent known to man. I cannot think of anyone, past or present, capable of doing what Dimash is capable of. I am still waiting on someone to name a single individual even remotely close to Dimash's mastery.
Dimash has performed songs in 17 languages; Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Sicilian, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, Armenian, Arabic, and Japanese. Besides his native Kazakh tongue, he speaks fluent Russian, which is still an official language in most former Soviet Republics. Dimash is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin, which he says is a challenging language to learn. Dimash plays five instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, and drums. He usually performs for more than two hours during live concerts and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles.

His songs, "Fly Away," "Stranger," and "Ave Maria," debuted live at New Wave 2021, and the latter two are on a whole new level. Dimash performs an alternate version of "Stranger" on the "Shine! His release, “The Story of One Sky,” is a 13+ minutes mini movie masterpiece that will lead you on an emotional rollercoaster and leave you spellbound. It is possibly Dimash’s best work today, and took three years to complete. It showcases all of Dimash’s vocal skills, spans across all four registers, and covers a wide range of genres and vocal techniques. I would suggest watching the live performance fan cam footage of the song if you want to truly experience his vocal performance without distraction. The music video’s visuals and storyline are so impressive and emotional that it can be overwhelming and quite difficult to focus on the vocals. Dimash’s song "El Amor En Ti" is a masterpiece live concert performance, performed at the 2022 Almaty Concert. Dimash makes use of three hologram images of himself, each singing in a different register and portraying a different character, and Dimash himself appearing on stage in person adding a fourth register and character to the mix; it is an incredible performance.
Avoid any performance from "The World's Best." The show in L.A. was utterly disgraceful. The production team edited and cut all of Dimash's performances down to 2 minutes and cut out his Kazakh song for no reason.
They also put him up against children. He had specifically that he would NOT sing against children. They did not honour his request.- he pulled out of the competion immediately.
Welcome to the world of Dimash. You have only just begun to enjoy the adventure of Dimash. React to "Sinful Passion", then you should do "Stranger" and then his version of "Ave Maria". Follow that with "Ogni Pietra (Olymipico)" or his Duet with Placido Domingo "Pearl fisher" or listen to an incredible love song or two with "Love is like a dream" an angel joins in for that one as well and then the Japanese song of "Ikanaide". I'm a 73 year old American and Dimash is the best singer/performer I've ever heard or seen. I've been following his music since the start of the Pandemic. He is truly wonderful! He performed this song in 2017 at the very start of the Chinese four month TV show, "The Singer". He was the first non-Chinese to ever perform on this program...the next day he had to have bodyguards! By the way, the audience consists of about 500 Chinese music teachers and vocalist. They act as judges and vote after every round to determine the ranking of each performer or group. React to anything and everything he does...you can't go wrong!
some corrections: Since Singer 2014 there have always been foreign guests. The 500 people who vote is a popular jury from all trades.
@@lila1957 The foreign guests were never allowed to be granted first prize. That's what caused quite a riot actually. You are technically correct stating that there have been foreign performers, but they were litterally decoration. This was the first contest Dimash lost in his entire life and it happened only because he wasn't allowed to win. The show has been altered since, because of the fallout.
Also... if by all trades you mean all trades within the professional music industry, then, sure. You are correct to state the judge can be either a singer or a guitarist. You are not correct suggesting he can be a plumber. That's not how this show works.

If you are unfamiliar with Dimash, prepare yourself to be amazed. Dimash possesses the most powerful voice on the planet. He was born May 1994 in Kazakhstan, his father being a pop singer and his mother an opera singer. At the age of five, he accompanied his mother to opera practice, whereupon a voice teacher heard his voice and took him under his wings. Dimash is extensively educated in music and is rumoured to have / getting a PhD in Music ; furthermore, he plays several instruments. He is an incredibly talented and smart young man, having performed songs in twelve different languages. Those incredible high notes are almost inconceivable for a male singer. Dimash is also a huge admirer of the late Michael Jackson, the king of pop.
