I think there's something important that many people making reaction videos to The Story of One Sky by Dimash are overlooking, or perhaps they’re not fully realizing. I've seen many reactions to both the original version and the live performance, and few have mentioned this, but I believe it's essential.
When Dimash begins, he introduces notes that evoke an Arabic style, almost like Muslim chants. Then, the music evolves into more Eastern sounds, reminiscent of Buddhism and meditation. After that, the melody transforms into something more angelic, approaching Christianity. All of this happens before reaching the song's climax, where all his emotions literally explode.
At that point, the visuals also gain intensity: images of wars, homelessness, the dead, devastation… Could it be that Dimash is calling out religions for the harm they've caused, or is he asking for a united, solidary agreement to end suffering? Or maybe both?
It’s incredible, the power, emotions, and strength he conveys. The Story of One Sky is, without a doubt, a masterpiece.

If you haven't already, i would recommend you watch the omv for this phenomenal song. Dimash composed this piece as his cry to stop the wars. The chants in the middle are calls to prayer for different religions & will make more sense seeing the mv. Dimash wrote the story, composed the music, wrote the screenplay & produced the whole thing. It is considered to be his masterpiece to date. It took 3 years in the making from start to finish. I would love to see your reaction to it.

You are pronouncing dee MOSH correctly. Accent on the second syllable. 😄 Dimash is Kazakh and uses many Kazakh singing techniques in his songs. The trills he uses are used in funerals Kazakhstan. Right after this masterpiece of a performance, Dimash went backstage and the giant screens came alive with the pre-recorded song "El Amor En Ti" which ran for a few minutes to let Dimash rest a bit, then he came out to sing. The song is on Dimash's channel and is superb. Another masterpiece composed by Dimash for his Spanish speaking Dears. Watch his entire Almaty concert. Amazing concert uploaded in three parts on his channel. Dimash will be holding another concert in Astana Kazakhstan in Sept. 30,000 seats sold out in three days so they added a second concert the next day (13th and 14th). Looks like the second concert is about sold out too. He will also have concerts in Dusseldorf and Prague in November.

@@christinabrain1426 LOL! Yes, we all love him and some will call him like mashed potatoes and some call him like mosh pit. In reality the "a" is a little between an "uh" and an "ah". It is Kazakh after all. 😅
I think it's more than 30,000. From what I could see on the website 30,000 is the seated number for a sports event. So that's not including the pitch space although obviously they're losing one end because it will be behind the stage.
The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel, Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English. The sound quality and the footage are a lot better. And you don't have this chatter in the background.

And he's been singing it in all his concerts ever since. But always a little different.
You really have to react to his MV now to understand the different singing styles he does. You will be blown away. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. The video is full of symbolism. No camera angle is unwanted, every scene has meaning. And then there's his voice. His voice is just the tool in this video. But unbelievable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.

Btw, here is a Korean girl group, 'Oh My Girl' who consists of 6 solid vocalists. (debuted in 2015)
They won the 2nd prize among 6 girl groups [Mamamoo, Park Bom(2NE1), (G)I-Dle, Lovelyz and AOA] in Queendom, the Korean survival contest in 2019.
