Thank you for sharing! That brings back so many fond memories! The Guil was the first river I paddled in the French Alps in 1994. The river has changed a bit (the "Labyrinth" rapid washed out), but it still looks like you had a blast on it! I'd hate to come across rafts in the Chateau Queras gorge, though.

only 1 is mandatory. the siphon/strainer around 5:54. Stop on river left bank 6:15 . You might also want to portage "le millenium" depending on its configuration.
Yea, on average it could be international class III . But I am pretty sure some parts can be ranked class IV. At water level above 90 cm , i think it would be average class IV.
