unfortunately the budget for coasters is very limited here, and it’s pretty much impossible to get new coasters and most of the ones parque diversiones can get are from other parks
@Enzo Discovery Parks in Latin America have a low budget so I doubt they add anything. Maybe an rmc raptor could fit in very well, or maybe even a small scale euro fighter. But I don't think a new vekoma fits in well. And yes this comes from a Venezuelan thoosie. But this park uses the money mostly for charities so yeah
I was in Costa Rica a few years ago and on that trip I was in San Jose a couple times and I didn’t know about this park! I did do zip line in a rain forest on my birthday which was one of the most memorable and amazing things I’d ever done! Certainly I’ve never had a more amazing birthday!
I rode that Boomerang when it was located at Playcenter, even though it's obviously a cookie-cutter coaster I kinda have a soft spot for it and I'm glad to see Parque Diversiones is taking good care of it. Cute park overall.
The kids train roller coster with the face 9n the front is like the mascot of like the ultimate tv channel, it has news and kids shows and family movies. There are a ton of other channels but that one is the ultimate😊
As a Costarican myself , the kiddie train is not Thomas the Tank engine , is actually the mascot of one of the biggest local tv channels , which has been since the 50s , in some ways , we believe that Thomas is a Ripoff of that mascot ! Lol 😂

@@SmileBullet It's just to Lionbrrz. Just ignore it, but I'll tell you more. Steel Force is a hyper coaster located at Dorney Park. Its reputation isn't as well received as some other hyper coasters, but Lionbrrz is a HUGE fan. Watch Hersheypark Enthusiast's "Storm Walker" so you can understand.
I'm from costa rica, so I went there like 3 times,2 with my friends, and the first one was when I was like 7 or 6. So I like going there but the only problem is that the torbelino ( mini mouse or magic mouse, as they call it in North America) had an abrupt stop that I whout get hurt so I don't like that but still, I like it. I feel like this park deserves a !10/10. this is the only theme park I had gone to. the only others I went to was Disney World, Epcot, animal kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and universal studios. and that then I just went all of them in one trip to the u.s.a. I like this park. I recommend it if you're going to costa rica.

About the statues thing, it gets weirder in more third world country parks. In Cuba, there is a park called Parque Lenin with a statue of Vladimir Lenin at the front.

Linnanmaki is also a not-for-profit park. It is owned by a combination of six nonprofits and so far have donated $120M to charity
Hersheypark is owned by a non-profit as well.
I love that their Ferris Wheel is called a Chicago Wheel, a reference to the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago

They need a intamin mega coaster, like a clone of hyperion at enerylandia. Or a clone of konda at Wallibi Belgium
