For those who asked, the font used in this tutorial is Hannah: www.youworkforthem.com/font/T0235/ywft-hannah - it's adapted from the credits of Kubrick's classic film, Dr Strangelove (Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love After Effects).
Do I have to create a duplicate object and apply a new style if I want it to animate a different way? (ex. Bounce in, No animation for 10 sec, Elastic out) Please tell me there is a simple way to do this.
Ease and Wizz adds an expression to the property so you can only use it once per property but if you want to use it more than once then you can use ExpressionTimeline which you can also find on aescripts.
Curious if you can explain the "Type" options provided in the Ease and wizz script palette ("In + Out," "In", or "Out"). The use of "Out" in this tutorial video seems to be the opposite of what I would expect. AE's built-in "Ease out" is applied to keyframes when a layer is at rest and is about to move. "Ease in" is used on keyframes when a layer has been moving and is settling in to a state of being at rest. Ian has "Out" selected for "Type" when controlling the easing that happens as the letters in "EASING" are settling in to their scaled-up state (9:25). Obviously he's getting the results he's going for, but is the nomenclature for this script actually the opposite of what it should be? Am I thinking of this in the wrong way? Can someone please provide a clarifying explanation? Also would be helpful to have a grasp of what can be accomplished by making changes to the "Keys" drop-down menu.
