I’m a North Dakotan and honestly those middle of nowhere woods parties were always the best. Honestly this song is phenomenal and I’m so glad y’all liked it
Nodak boy here too, that’s what I loved about this state. Going out to the boonies to some old ranch to go have a bonfire and drink. Them things would get pretty big too.
This song makes me think of my teenage years. Back then, I could put 5 in gas in, pick up my best friend and my little sister, and just ride the back/dirt roads for hours on end. I wish I had those days back. My friend moved off up north, and my sister passed away a few months ago. Those simple times were the good ol days, and I just didn't realize it.❤
I am so impressed with you boys enjoying different genres that you may not be familiar with. There is so much good rocking country music, and Jason Aldean is definitely boss!
I’m a Kentuckian and I’ve partied on many a dirt road (In KY and in TN). This is one of my favorite songs. I love you guys. Your reactions always have me cackling.
I live in Tennessee and the back roads are dirt roads. When I was dating my husband when were always on the back roads. We lived in the country and it’s was so peaceful!! Jason Aldean is awesome!!!💕
"Tennessee don't have no dirt roads?!" As someone who has lived her whole life in the boonies of Tennessee I have to beg to differ 😂😂😂 edited to add before you comment... The guy in the video said we don't. I am disagreeing. Reading comprehension is key. Thanks.
Jason Aldean is actually from Macon, Georgia. We even have a street named after him lol. Y'all's reaction to this was great and so funny had me laughing bout the whole time 😂😂. I'm from GA so we have a ton of dirt roads here but I've been to TN several times and in the mountain area they do have dirt roads but I don't recall seeing any in the big cities/towns of TN.

It’s crazy because the county I’m from in Texas is super rural but all the backroads expect a few are oil tops. The ones that aren’t are either “mud roads” loved by the local teens with 4x4s or sand roads.
Can’t lie first time I saw a dirt road was as an adult didn’t realize they still existed… but hey, it almost killed my more than once during the rain lol
You ain't lived til you been to those types of get togethers.. middle of nowhere, dirt roads, fire, keg.. music.. it's bomb. !!! This was one of the first rap country songs. He started that genre with this song.
I love this song, I was born and raised living down a dirt road. It was a 35min drive to the closest town and my closest neighbor was a mile away from my house. My husband was raised the same, and we would drive all over using the backroads. we are high school sweethearts been together for 13y now with twin 6yo daughters and we still will just go drive around the back roads.
@@beerninja5755 No, Red Dirt Road was a Brooks and Dunn song. Also one of my favorites. But Colt Ford and Brantley Gilbert co-wrote Dirt Road Anthem together, before they were famous, selling it to Jason Aldean. Gilbert arranged the music and wrote the chorus, while Ford wrote the rap part.
Y’all need to listen to the Jason & Ludacris version!!! That’s my favorite and when it comes on while I’m driving, I blast that with my windows down!!!
Nothing better than the discovery of Country Music! Y’all are fun! Glad this came up in my suggestion. Thank y’all for stomping out the judgment against Country.
Ya'll have officially listened to more country music than me and I'm HERE for it. Love your channel and vibe. Thanks for making me dance, sing, smile, and laugh.
I was born and raised in Jackson, lived just North of Memphis for 25 yrs, just moved back to Jackson. I can take you to MULTIPLE dirt roads just 10 min from my house! You have to get OUT OF THE CITY to find them! The cities he named are all the big cities in the state that are along the interstate. You have to go to the small country towns or rural areas outside city limits. There are tons of places that still don't have electricity or indoor plumbing much less a paved road!
We lived in Henning for a year. The schools weren't great but I loved the old house we lived in....set out in the middle of 1000 acres of cotton. Huge trees all around. Cried when we left. It was so peaceful and calming. My parents loved it too. They'd visit every 2 weeks and stay a couple weeks lol. But we're country folk to begin with so it was up our alley.
You guy have Boss energy.Keep up the deed, reporting without bias..Sol you are legit...hard on the boys when needed..Yall hit the wisdom hard too for life isn't a video, but do your thang, enjoy your life while taking care biz..👍🏼👍🏼🔥💝
Born and raised in Kansas.......dirt road driving is the best. Perfect time to reflect and enjoy the wind blowing through the wheat fields......and having a few beers.....and watching tornadoes. Lol. Best times of my life. Cant wait to be back there. (currently in South Korea)
Colt Ford recorded the song first with Brantley on the chorus in 2008. The Brantley version featuring Colt came out in 2010. They share writing credit. You can’t say this song is one or the other because if you just do Colt’s part without Brantley’s, it’s shit. If you do do Brantley’s part without Colt’s, it’s shit. Both peoples contributions are needed for this song to work. That’s also why I like their versions better than Jason’s. This song was written by 2 people for 2 people to do. Jason’s version with Ludacris is far better than the Jason solo version.
I'm from Alabama and those long dirt roads that bring me my hour long commute from the city to my house in the country are my absolute favorite ones...best parties happen guys out in the middle of nowhere..and we have fire weed here as well..rural Tennessee has, many dirt roads

Keep up the great reactions ,love them! I am a retired teacher in New Zealand .My wife and I chose to teach in a school that was on the Road to aNowhere.Isolated ! Many of the roads were single lane and shingle and gravel with blind corners.I looked after the swimming pool lit the classroom fires and learned to get lambs out that were stuck. These parents worked hard and played harder.Best part was learning to use gelignite and running down wild goats. And drinking beer at the pub which was served by one of my pupils.
