Hi Guys! The dog is a Blood Hound. (And they are much larger than a Beagle.) They are used in tracking/finding people that go missing like in search and rescue situations. They are very gentle dogs - they are not vicious, and they can follow a scent- even through rivers and streams because they have great "noses". Take care!
I was about to say the same. Beagles are in the hound group, along with Bloodhounds, but much smaller and more "compact" like one of the guys in the video was saying.
The dog is a coonhound and they will f up some racoons and other animals. Ole red is a redbone coonhound and the cousins dog is a bluetick. I have seen a coonhound pop a racoons skull with one bite when it caught the coon jumping out of a tree after it was shot while hunting
He is from Oklahoma and still lives there except when he lives in California while working on the Voice .. y’all need to react to God’s Country by Blake .. he has a few bars and they are named Ole Red .. this song is his signature song and made him blow up in country song. .. so glad y’all are branching out to all genres !!
I’m glad that you young men are trying different types of music. I was afraid when I first started watching you would be making fun but not so! You find the good in every artist I’ve watched you listen to!! Thanks for being a bright spot in this negativity we all live in. ❤
Blake is from Oklahoma lmao. You guys are hilarious definitely subbed now. Y'all should check out God's Country and Austin they are two really classic ones if you haven't yet. He's done a few duets too if you wanna check out those though I'm not sure if it's y'all styles.
The look on your faces when you figured out that Red was used to help him escape...lol...my exact same reaction when I heard it. Keep up the good work fellas.
This is my fellow Okie and I was blessed to get to see him when he first came out at the Oklahoma Opry back in the mid 90s. Blake’s catalog is deep and you couldn’t go wrong with anything he has released.
Man, y'all need to check out some Johnny Cash, Travis Tritt, George Strait, Toby Keith(who would probably be y'all's favorite TBH), Brad Paisley. And you can't do country without Reba, Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton. Just a few suggestions. It's hard to go wrong with any country before 2005 or so.
I’m subbing bc y’all are branchin out into country ❤️ The story telling in country music is basically like listening to a whole movie 😂 Keep goin! Check out “God’s Country” by Blake Shelton. Also, Blake *is* from Oklahoma 😂
George Jones- he stopped loving her today / choices Reba McEntire - Fancy Brooks and Dunn - Maria Alan Jackson- Drive / Gone Country Brad Paisley- waiting on a woman / whiskey lullaby / he didn't have to be Luke Bryan - Rain is a good thing Kane Brown - One thing Right / Heaven Lauren Alaina - Unchained Melody
Loving the Country Journey!! You guys are a good looking group I ain't gonna lie. I'm from Sweden 🇸🇪 Immigrant 🇺🇸❤Loving all different music in this blended USA 🇺🇸 Please tell me you have heard God's Country! If not Please react next! "God's Country" by Blake
You guys should do more Blake. He is from Oklahoma and he is a judge on the Voice, my favorite show I'm a real Blake fan. I have one for y'all, I think you guys will get a kick out of "BOY'S ROUND HERE"
Allred was a redbone hunting dog which is the breed. And then his cousin brought a Bluetick hound which is another breed hunting dog the female in the story. Blueticks are specifically known for their blue merle and darker speckled spots. But the end of the song if you noticed it says that now there red haired blue ticks all in the south!!!! Puppies!!😅😉😉😉😉😉 absolutely one of my favorite songs!
There is a lot of story telling in Country Music--silly, sad, profound, goofy. Here's a list of some good storytelling: Johnny Cash -- "A boy named Sue" Johnny Cash -- "One Piece at a Time" Charlie Daniels -- "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" Martina McBride -- "Independence Day" Bobbie Gentry -- "Ode to Billie Joe"
My Son was a little shaver when this came out. I taught him the lyrics as "get my LADDER get my gun"......he'd run around the house singing it that way. Drove my Wife CRAZY!!!😊
Great video. So nice seeing other's apricating some country music. I like a little bit of every kind of music myself ; country being my favorite though.
I live in a small town outside Knoxville. East Tennessee. Campbell County. And I can get to about 4 different dirt roads in about 10 minutes. 😂 we definitely have dirt roads. Jellico is a rival of ours. It's a city still in Campbell County but it's sorta isolated Geographically. They have jellico high school. There are about 230 students in jellico high. Small town. Dirt roads are just necessary. Love yalls channel. You can feel the bond between the 4 of yall. It's beautiful. Thank you for making the videos.
The lyrics to this song were wrote by a friend of my mom's. It was a write in competition and the winner would have their song sang on the radio. Apparently it was really popular.
That is one thing especially old time country which in my opinion Blake is and they are amazing at stor a telling I have seen a few of your videos reacting to some country and I loved your reaction to Kenny Rogers
🤣🤣🤣 I love y'all's vibe...this was Blake's first couple of big hits...its a great storytelling song from my boy from Ada, Oklahoma! try Austin for a more ballad kinda song 🎵
His song Austin is beautiful also when he was very young. With his ex wife the 1st time they sang together they sang you were made for Oklahoma and it is so beautiful
fellas 🤣 funniest sh!t for real! you boys reactions to ole red is legend, dude in the back says "I like 2 country songs now" you guy rule, #westisthebest
Check out Blake Shelton's "God's Country", Home Free (accapella group) singing Man of Constant Sorrow, also Blackberry Smoke (Southern rock), Marcus King, Marshall Tucker Band "Can't You See", "Boondocks" song but can't remember name of the band.
Ever seen Disney's Lady and the Tramp? Trusty is a bloodhound. They have the most acute olfactory capability, of all dog breeds, even being able to track through water, which is almost impossible for other dogs. Good Ol' Red. Good Ol' Trusty.
It's a bloodhound. Those things have the loudest, most haunting bark an howl you'll ever hear. I think they use them to hunt raccoons. They tree them once they get a sniff. I'm not sure if they still use them to find missing people or not?
If you're going down the country music rabbit hole you need to listen to Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, and of course Charlie Daniels song The devil went down to Georgia
Man I LOVE that y’all are branching out into some country music. I also respect that y’all appreciate the story telling aspect of it.
Ditto
+ a country boy can survive
Yeah if I made money listening to music I didn't normally listen to I'd hit play too.
Some of the best story telling out there
I mean most rap is storytelling, so if they'd like that they're bound to like this. I mean I don't like country either but this was lowkey a banger.

@@Bayougirl78 Unfortunately a lot of the "hunt" has been bred out of some beagle lines for the pet and medical industries.
I totally lost it at...."it's a damn beagle!" 😂😂👍👍

Some good sweaty guitar licks in here. It just sounds like Southern Georgia near the swamps. The last line really makes this song.

I think Austin was his blow up song. However this was a fun follow up.
@@mikemck4796 Ole Red was his first hit. He named his chain of Bar/Restaurants after it. They are building a new one in Orlando now
Austin was another hit later
@@melvinsmiley5295 odd considering that Austin came out before, and was bigger.
I’m glad that you young men are trying different types of music. I was afraid when I first started watching you would be making fun but not so! You find the good in every artist I’ve watched you listen to!! Thanks for being a bright spot in this negativity we all live in. ❤

The little "baby, turn the lights down low..." 👊
Love that bro in the back right, he knows all genres, reminds me of myself
It is the stories that are told, gentlemen. That is what makes country music what it is.
The lyrics to this song were wrote by a friend of my mom's. It was a write in competition and the winner would have their song sang on the radio. Apparently it was really popular.
