Both this and Lauren Daigle's original are truly beautiful, and, although the tone is very similar in both, this is more melodic due to AJ smoothing out the ending consonants and IMO more emotional. This xmas concert was a pay for view and a few songs have finally been put on YT by a fan. Wish it still was available, even for pay.

Angelina, sang this song with a heart wide open...Unapologetically and with total raw abandon, she let's us know, that like all of us, at one time or another, have felt some or all the lyrics...a couple of lines in her song "7th Heaven" give us a peek that sometimes we can feel like our lives are out of sync, and she yearns to "love the person looking back" when she looks in the mirror. A GIFTED artist, perfectionist requires much of themselves...yet, bottom line she is grounded, because when she sang the line "the only thing that matters now, God, is what you think of me" (might be off on the lyrics)..I teared up, because I BELIEVE her BELIEF...and her future in the music industry will hold both disappointments and milestones...she'll believe she doesn't need to please everyone...but we Angels know, we BELIEVE in her, and will always uplift her, too. Angelina's 'vocal chameleon' ability comes into play here, but you will note her low register singing and overall power is superior to Lauren, but I'm taking nothing away from how good Lauren's original was. Still, there's only one Angelina.
