Her 'vocal chameleon' ability to emulate any singer's vocals, allows her to
stay 'spot on' with Lauren's beautiful original. There's a 'back & forth' rendition
where it's difficult to determine which singer is vocalizing at specific points in
the song. Angelina has, in my opinion, more power reserve available to her than
Lauren, including her insane super low register ability, but in this song I find both
artists to be as good as one would hope they'd be.

This was dedicated to her Angels at the end of her pay for view Christmas online special. The concert was awesome but when she dedicated this to her fans it was especially heart felt amazing song. Lauren Daigle would love Angelina's version, she consistently tells us( her fans/Angels) she loves us and we love her. I cried like a big baby when she did this, I love her soo much.

Angelina sang this at her special live stream for Christmas 2021. Just before she was turning 16 in January 2022. It was sung in appreciation of her fans.
This is almost a psalm or sung prayer. She tells God how she sees herself and compares what God is telling her how HE sees her (us). If we could only see ourselves as our Father in heaven sees us, we would not struggle so much w/ personality issues, pride, vanity or ego.
Angelina has a similar message about finding your self-worth in her original song, "7th Heaven." Angelina I believe is a deeply spiritual person who only wants to spread peace and love to everyone.
Lauren wrote this beautiful song of faith and love and sang it beautifully as well. For me, though, Angelina gives it soul and makes me feel what the words are all about. She also makes me cry, but she does that all the time.
Lauren Daigle, the composer, is a Christian singer. Angelina performed this at the end of her 2021 virtual holiday concert. Even as a committed Angel i don't know her feelings on religion, but she is clearly a very spiritual person. She performed this in the middle of the pandemic when her life and plans were turned upside down. I like to think this was her message to her Angels that our love and support helped through those challenging times. Watch the video; she was stunning. So much emotion.
I've read that Angelina and her family ARE Christians. That's where their deep well of love and care comes from (-As well as her supernatural vocal abilities) . For Angelina, you can hear her deep love of God when she sings Gospel songs, such as - "How Great Thou Art" and this one. But, just like God, Angelina's love goes out to EVERYONE - that's what touches our souls when she sings. PURE love!! And that's the indescribable beauty in her that we all sense!

It's to remind us we are all perfect in God's eyes and forever beloved.❤ And I love Lauren and agree they sound similar on this. Great reaction to 15 Angelina ❤. This is a famous Christian song. Won a Grammy and Dove awards. In Norway Angelina would sing in her church sometimes at Christmas. Angie and her family are conservative nondenominational protestant based belief (kind of like Jack Hibbs) and are private about their faith. We don't tell people what church she goes to so she has her privacy. You check out her singing it live, from her 2021 live virtual Christmas concert. @@musicluvr70 Their voices are actually extremely similar. It's the bit extra depth, layers, flavors in Angelina, in this song that's about it. Kind of sounds like some real aching coming from Angelina. Which she can often do with vocal break type things and her wild vibrato and just overall control, it's like she tries to exhaust herself or ride a fine line of flirting with digging too deep and losing control. Maybe it's something with starting so young and learning while kind of HAVING too dig ridiculously deep. Wish you well Gary 🙂

At the very end of the Christmas Show on December 23, 2021, Angelina performed "You Say", I lost my breath, and I got chills, and the tears began to fall. I am an atheist, and my faith is in mankind, not some mythical being. I believe the song "You Say" is referring to Angelina's Angles, those that support her in her quest. There must be a supernatural place in the universe, how else can we explain this being called Angelina Jordan.

Wondering when she would show up. 😊 Interesting thought. I guess about sound waves more than anything. The plants dying or thriving makes zero sense to me. But maybe there is something within us that understands those sound waves on a deep level that makes me think, and we've been conditioned to use tones that give appropriate sound waves for our expressing of ourselves. Maybe we use harmful soundwaves for our more harmful thoughts. Thanks for the great reaction.

Angelina's rendition is much more powerful than the original one, I think. Lauren Daigle and Angelina Jordan have a little bit similar kind of voices but Angelina's vocal skills are more advanced and she has more emotion in her rendition. Just my humble opinion. The original one is not bad by any means either.

Very cool you played a little of Lauren Daigle’s version….which was #1 for 126 weeks btw. I heard her singing it in LA 4 yrs ago. I was initially confused bc I thought it was an Adele song until then. Excellent reaction video
